FINS Fish House and Raw Bar

This review is for happy hour in the dead of winter at FINS #winterishere
I was down in Rehoboth Beach for a work project and desperately wanted some oysters without breaking the bank. My coworkers and I headed over to FINS during happy hour to have a beer and a light dinner/​snacks and were super pleased!
I got a mix of the happy hour oysters and an order of fish tacos. Both were absolutely delicious and they get bonus points for serving blackened/​grilled fish tacos and not just fried ones like most happy hour specials.
My only small complaint (and reason for 4 stars) is that they only serve the happy hour specials in the bar area, which is quite cramped when it gets busy. Other than that, this is a perfect place to stop by for some oysters and beers!

Great service, great food, great bar. The fact that this place was packed on a relatively desolate winter weekend night boded well. We were seated in an awkward corner at a tiny table and I thought for sure it was all downhill from there. I was wrong. They have a great beer list, and are quick to offer suggestions and bring refills. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and patient when we changed our minds or had questions.
I got a surf and turf special with caesar salad to start. I liked their use of oyster crackers as croutons a lot — cute and tasty too. He got clam chowder and a fried oyster po-​boy which he thoroughly enjoyed. After dinner, we were enjoying the atmosphere so much that we went downstairs to the bar for a few more drinks. Friendly staff downstairs as well and good music to boot. I would definitely go back.

What a beautiful area. I love the Christmas lights on the streets. After we shopped, decided to grab a small bite before dinner and we were in luck!
A-​: Crab dip — very creamy, I wish it came with bread instead of chips
A+: Seafood skins — Love it! Potato as the base with a spread of the imperial crab (dip), layered with chucks of scallops and topped with cheese. Thumbs up.

LOVE FINS! Classy yet casual restaurant /​bar in Rehoboth. If you’re visiting, or a local that hasn’t been by, definitely stop by for their happy hour! Great prices and good atmosphere, children welcome!
Staff is friendly and well trained.
Their food is easily as appealing, I’ve been here a few times now and have never had a bad meal.
