I always get nachos and a taco. The best. Seriously. Not sure why people complain. Quick delivery too. Love love love this place

Fast delivery… Prices very nice until you see your order. I had the shrimp quesadillas and guacamole side order and thought they came out of the kids meals. Mimi me.

They messed up my order. Missed the main portion of my meal, just gave me rice and beans without the steak lol? Took them 40 mins to deliver the order. And on top of that won’t even give a partial refund(I ordered online). Never again. Oh and also the guy I spoke to on the phone(called in to explain about the missing food) was yelling at me saying he is busy and don’t got time. So yeah poor customer service too

Delicious food for a good price. I love the chicken taco loco. I ordered through GrubHub. I’ve had mostly bad experiences with other places on GrubHub but this was warm — the lettuce and tomatoes were cool. Taco shell and lettuce were crispy. Seasoning was perfect. I enjoyed everything about it. Delivery was much faster than I expected. It was here in about 25 minutes. I will definitely order here again!

Great fresh food! Salsa is awesome… chicken soft and flavorful along with the chili! Service is super quick and place is clean! I haven’t done delivery, however will update this when i do! This would have been a 5-star review, however they don’t accept credit/debit cards — not cool!

I ordered the steak combination plate with a side of guacamole. I must say the rice was super super bland, actually the whole meal was bland. It was hard to eat the rice or the beans itself, as I needed a lot of sauces to help cover the blandness. The side of guacamole I got also was a rip off. I only got half the amount I payed for. I learned my lesson and will not be ordering from here again. The delivery was quick though, it came in about 20 minutes.

Tremendously poor customer service. Received an incorrect order, which happens, no fault in that, but the restaurant insisted we were lying and refused to make good on the correct order. Very disappointing that a local restaurant would do that.

this place is similar to the numerous other places that have the same set-up, asian operated, tex-mex spot. the steak & rice was half the size, of the other places I’ve been to. the food overall, was avg. to below.

I love this place. It’s run like a mom-pop store. It’s always risky when it comes to Mexican food due to freshness of food, but I can vouch that everything here is moderately fresh tasting. Whenever I come here I get the classic Chili Taco(Ground Beef) with a side of guacamole. They give you chili and sour cream on the side for free usually if you ask for it. At, $ 1.59 a taco, it make this a bargain.(same price as a taco from taco bell) My friend usually gets a salad of some sort, usually taco/beef salad and I imagine it’s good because he gets the same thing almost every time. Will always come here if I pass by. Best tex mex in the area. Cash only. Closed Sunday.

The food is good quality compared to their inexpensive pricing. It is definitely a take out place then a stay in place. The owners are not the nicest if you ask for extra sauce because of course they would like to charge you for it. I guess it comes with the cheaper pricing, but the food was great. From $ 20 bucks, two people can eat like a royalty. Meaning you will get really full!

Decent Tex-Mex place in Rego Park Honestly like everyone else was saying the service is pretty rude, the counter lady was abrupt, while the guy behind her was just kind of posted up there… well then. The hard shell is not recommended since it crumbles real fast, but I really like the soft shell tacos which are warm and nice. The prices are also very reasonable too. Legit this would be a much more popular place if the people behind the counter actually acted like they want ur money.

I ordered food from this place via Seamless. The order didn’t come for 50 minutes. When i finally called, the girl who answered the phone laughed and said, «oh i forgot about it. give me a few minutes.» 10 minutes later still no delivery, so i called again. this time a guy answered the phone and he was very offended that I called again. He said their fax had a problem, which is not what the girl said. Forgetting an order and having a fax issue are two different things. On top of that, no a word of apology. Will not order again.

You really can’t go wrong with this place. Typical Tex-Mex Chinese restaurant that I’ve been coming to for years: a great Rego Park stalwart over the past 20 years or so. I can’t speak of the delivery since I only live a couple of blocks away, but the food is very consistent. You know what you’re getting when you order. I love that you can still get a decent meal for under $ 4(rice and chicken). I’m a big fan of the steak-and-chicken burrito, and I also like the tacos. Fajitas are on call if I’m looking more for the soft taco feel. Nachos are good too, but like any other cheese-based food, you should eat it right away before it gets cold. The one huge knock on this place for those who come in to order: not the friendliest staff. I think I’m being kind here. They look at their customers with disdain, and they really want you out as soon as you order. I don’t think it’s coincidence that you have a place that makes good food, but nearly all empty tables. That’s one whole entire star right there. Other than that, you really can’t find a better place like this around here. It’s a good place to pick up food if you’re not in the cooking mood after work.

I’ve lived here for about 20 years and this is my favorite takeout. The place surprises you because it doesn’t look like much but the food is fantastic. Good burritos, absolutely huge. The highlight is the Pork Chop combination and the quesadilla’s, steak or chicken. Combine with the sour cream and it’s absolutely delicious! For something quick, simple, cheap that’s actually good it’s my favorite place. It’s run by Chinese people so I don’t know how authentic it is but pay no attention, the only thing that matters is if the food is good and the place is clean. Yes and a yes. Top it off with being affordable it gets 5 Stars. Love this place!

The food is ok for what it is. The nachos were soggy, though, so they don’t travel well. Delivery guy is an asshat.

Monday Night Football means serious Munchies… these guys deliver the pigskin… In Rego Park, watching football, and trying too keep on a budget, while still enjoying the game and drinking beer… this is the quarterback sneak… chicken fajitas… chicken quesadillas… three of each plus fiery hot sauce…20 bucks… that is a recovered fumble is a ever saw one… Seriously though… good food delivered fast… cant ask for more more… I love this place…

This place is ok! To begin with this area lacks food variety. I think the only other«mexican» food is about 15 – 20 blocks away(don’t hold me to that figure!) The fajitas are good but thats because I love peppers and onions but the chicken is ok, the rice in the combination platter is meh!(rice cooker rice) the beans are meh although I personally like their black over their pinto and the tex-mex chili has flavor. Overall if you go here bring cash, you cant go wrong with the tacos; but if your hungry and on a budget then the combination platter is your best bet. For $ 5.79 you get your meat of choice with the exception of pork(i usually get the C2 which is tex-mex chili & chicken; rice/beans/lettuce/tomatoe/salsa/sour cream/2 flour tourtillas(i dont eat them).

The food here is fresh. I usually get the chicken tacos with onions in addition to the usual assortment of topics such as tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese. The grilled chicken with black beans, guacamole, brown rice, and some salad, and two pitas. Very fresh and tasty. The space is pretty large as well, so it’s comfortable!

*please read my previous review now since this is an update* Last night i pulled an all-nighter and was hungry as hell. I was so tempted to lurk in the middle of the night to MIA Halal Food on Junction Boulevard for a lamb over rice plate. But then I realized i didn’t really want that type of spice and decided to be a good boy. As for today, I was a bad boy…*WOOF~!!!* I woke up this morning and the first thing on my mind was *TASTY~~~.* I was in the mood for Mexican, but didn’t feel like driving to Jackson Heights and dealing with the parking situation or the insane gas prices involved with that type of mission. Since the weather was nice, I strolled over to Fresh Soft Tacos… This is my plate:
1) damage: $ 5.75 after tax 2) C2 combination: with only chili. I’m not feeling chicken these days unless it’s fried 3) no lettuce: not feeling shredded lettuce these days 4) two tortillas are provided 5) no soda: I don’t drink soda much. I asked the lady to give me more sauce instead. Usually you get 1 sour cream and 1 mild sauce. She gave me 3 sour cream and 2 mild sauces(I’m Chinese and need sauce for my rice!) 6) red beans: first time trying it and i think i prefer the black beans instead. I wish i knew which types of beans both are though… DISCLAIMER: I am not a bean-toligst! Summary: Previously i gave them 4 stars and I think overall they are. But once you try the different items and learn how to customize your lunch special to your individual taste, the rating is 5 star caliber for sure. The items here are fresh and of higher quality than Taco Bell. For the amount of food you get, it’s a better value too. Trust me as my arm was cramping up while i lugged the huge box of food home. I hereby declare a…*VALUEALERT~!!!*
