This place is a gem of a motel. For the very reasonable nightly rate, you’ll be truly hard-pressed to find a cleaner and tidier place to stay the night. The front office staff are very friendly and the wi-fi is strong. The bed was comfortable and the sheets perfectly made. Bathroom was small but nicer than what you’d find at any other motel. It clearly looked like my room(121) was recently remodeled, which was pleasing. New furniture, new carpet, new shower stall, new window blinds, etc. Overall, a fantastic value for the money and highly recommended. To be sure, this is a motel, not the Marriott, so adjust expectations accordingly. That said, it delivers outstandingly on what it promises — a clean, comfortable place to sleep, shower, and even get some work done(I made good use of my room’s small desk and table). Next time I need to be in the Selma/Reedley area overnight for business, I’m definitely choosing this place.

This place is great! Affordable with really nice rooms. It was quiet, very clean, and there was a cute towel folded as a little pig in the bathroom. The woman who runs it was so sweet and wonderful. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it for anyone spending time in Kings Canyon or the Sequoias, it’s very close !

College Motel is run by a nice Indian family. A great deal at $ 155 for a single queen room for three nights. Basic, but clean, and had everything I needed at a great price(microwave, fridge, free wifi). No housekeeping, but they checked up on me everyday to see if I needed anything. The free wifi didn’t work the first night, and I notified the owner, who promised his son would fix it when he came back in two hours, which he did. The wifi stopped working again for short periods over the next three days, though it wasn’t a big deal to me. To echo another reviewer, I thought the AC unit was a bit loud. Contrary to other reviewer’s experiences, I had a full size tub/shower in my room.

After sleeping in a tent for a week in Yosemite, I was making my way to kings canyon and came across this motel. I was not expecting much but it ended up being a really nice place to crash at. $ 55 for a night, $ 58 if you pay credit card. It appeared to be recently renovated, everything was new. Flat screen tv, mini fridge, microwave, queen size bed and super clean! Across the street is a laundry mat, a mini mart and a Mexican restaurant called Juanita’s you have to eat at. The only downfall was the AC unit was very loud and the shower was really small.

I was expecting a seedy, musty, unclean establishment, but what I got was a quiet, peaceful, more than adequate lodging. The manager worked with me on a deal as it was not the peak season and I had a very clean room with two full-sized beds all to myself. The owner was very hospitable and nonchalant about the transaction, and did not require a lot of excess forms and waivers to be filled out. I truly appreciated the service and enjoyed my stay at this establishment. For those wondering, my room had a small refrigerator, microwave oven, two full sized beds, a shower(no tub), a dresser, a television, and free wifi. On top of it, the room was non-smoking and it was plain to see that the room indeed had not been altered by the scent of cigarettes. I would stay here again.
