My husband and I came into the house-​buying process and the crazy market with no experience and little understanding. Dave & Sarah guided us very patiently through the whole process, and helped us close on a great deal in about 2 weeks. We feel like we struck a great deal and closed it due to their quick and innovative thinking. Dave & Sarah make a great team and we would rate them above 5 stars if Unilocal allowed that.

We met Sara and Dave at an open house that they were overseeing as the selling agents in the spring of 2013. Right off the bat, my husband and I both felt very comfortable with Sara and Dave. We decided to go with them to be our agent while we looked for a home. We ended up purchasing a new development property, and Sara and Dave helped to point out items to look for in the walk through of the model home, and helped us through the entire process from the initial paperwork of the purchase, the home design tips, and closing. They made everything smooth for us and we felt that they acted in our best interest as our advocates at times when there were issues with the builders and sellers of the new development. Prior to finding the property we were to purchase, we had a private website that they had set up and updated daily with new listings of homes to go see. Sara and Dave are very approachable, and not pushy. That’s one of the things we noticed the most with Bay Area Real Estate agents. They are either very pushy (which made us feel very uncomfortable) or they just didn’t take us seriously because we are both in our mid 30s and the agents probably thought we couldn’t afford to buy. Good thing we found Sara and Dave, because they weren’t judgmental like the other agents and simply they were a joy to work with. When time comes down the line when we move into a bigger home, we will definitely go with Sara and Dave again! We highly recommend them!

My wife and I decided to buy our first house in the Fall of 2013 and had no idea where to start. We started in the usual places…
, Unilocal,etc but felt a bit overwhelmed and that we were getting rushed sales pitches and not a whole lot else.
Dave and Sara were recommended by a friend and we decided to check them out. We went into their office on a Saturday morning and enjoyed casual conversation, getting to know each other, ultimately leading up to why we were there and what we wanted in a house. Dave and Sara were both quick to point out opportunities and considerations in a home based upon what they had picked up about us, our personalities, interests, goals, etc in the conversation leading up.
We went out on a drive to look at some properties, and over the next few weeks we refined our search and were impressed by the responsiveness, recommendations, attention to details, and enthusiasm both brought to the experience. Both went to bat for us to iron out details in closing and got us everything we wanted in a first house.
A previous reviewer mentioned the superb balance Dave and Sara have when working together and what they bring to interactions. It’s true. Dave is exceptionally enthusiastic and has a great eye for details, Sara is sharp and gets things done. But most importantly, both are very kind people, client-​centric, undeniably honest and candid, exceptionally knowledgable in the space, and a pleasure to work with. My wife and I almost wish we were in the market for another house so we could work with these two again sooner than later.

We bought our first house with Dave and Sara in mid-​2012. They clearly felt a strong moral obligation to help us choose a house that worked well for us. Dave and Sara were very patient in answering all our new home buyer questions. They have complementary strengths and I felt that all bases were covered. Most importantly, they delivered results and made sure the loan and inspections completed under tight timelines.

Sara and Dave are awesome! My wife and I had no idea what we were getting into buying our first home and when we met them at a open house, we immediately connected. As they showed us more and more homes (taking almost a year) we got a much better feel for the market we were getting into and what we needed as a couple. Dave and Sara were very helpful and not pushy at all (sometimes we needed a little kick in the pants because of our indecisiveness). They respected the personalities of all the people involved in the buying process and were very sensitive to our feelings about certain properties and elements in homes we saw. Ultimately they recommended we check out a place and it was perfect from the moment we pulled up to the curb. Our long journey to home-​ownership was finally over and these two really helped us to be completely happy with our purchase. We will definitely use them in the future!

Once my husband and I decided to jump into the Bay Area real estate market, we knew that we needed someone that we clicked with. We met Dave at an open house that he was hosting in San Carlos and hit it off with him immediately! We described our interests/​type of home we desired, as well as budget, cities, neighborhoods, etc. By the next day, Dave set up our MLS portal with our search criteria and set up a follow-​up appointment with him and his wife/​team member Sara.
Once we were pre-​approved for a mortgage, Dave & Sara showed us numerous homes along the Peninsula and within one day, Dave & Sara had a strong idea of our likes and dislikes. As a result, we saved time, and did not miss out on fast-​moving properties. When it came time to write an offer, we insisted on including contingencies (inspection, termite, appraisal) to help protect ourselves from any big surprises. Dave and Sara ensured that these contingencies were incorporated into our offer and despite the competition, non-​contingent offers, cash buyers, and bidding wars, Dave and Sara got our one and only offer accepted! Escrow closed in 21 days!
Throughout the entire process, Dave and Sara were there for us, answering any questions we had, alleviating any concerns we had, and making sure that our deal proceeded smoothly. Dave and Sara complement each other quite well; Dave brings years of remodel/​design experience to the table and pairs it up nicely with Sara’s contract expertise. It was imperative that we worked with agents that understood our needs. They both took the time to get to know us and truly helped us find the perfect home. Both Dave and Sara actively seek out new ways to build up their real estate expertise and share their knowledge with their clients. They are both open, honest and most of all genuine! Sara and Dave are not only fabulous realtors, they are also just genuinely nice people. We had a great experience working with them and highly recommend them.
My husband and I looked for a house for more than 2 years before putting a single offer in, and Sara and Dave never tried to rush us or force us into buying anything. They explained the whole buying process in lots of detail so that we felt comfortable about what we were getting into. They listened to what we wanted in a house and only sent us listings that met our criteria or were just a really good deal that they wanted to make sure we knew about. They also know the neighborhood really well — they kept us abreast of all the recent changes in the Belmont school system, and even told us which streets got busy because high school students park there during the day!
When it came time to put in an offer, we were all set to put in an offer above asking price, but Dave and Sara told us market price was probably $ 10k below the list price. They helped us negotiate this lower price (though it reduces their own commission) and they even got us an additional $ 10k credit at closing!
They made the whole contract and inspection process completely painless and it was clear they were so much more knowledgeable than the agent on the other side of the deal. There are so many contract details, different contingency periods and lending requirements and a bunch of other things that I can’t even remember, and Dave and Sara handled all the details flawlessly while still making sure we understood each document we were signing. They also bent over backwards to make things work on our timeline. We signed the initial contract around 10pm because my husband and I couldn’t get off work until late that night. I could gChat Sara every hour with questions and she would respond immediately — way easier than trying to leave phone and e-​mail messages all the time!
One added bonus is that they have great contacts for the other services we needed — they recommended a great mortgage broker who actually took the time to explain all the forms, fees, and processes that go along with a mortgage, and they also knew an excellent home inspector.
Most importantly, they are genuinely nice people (Dave even took a piece of our chandelier home and fixed it for us when he noticed it was cracked!), and it was a great experience to work with them for the past few years.

What an amazing team. They may be new to this industry but they have the ability and know how to help and get things moved. I will be using them to sell my mothers home in the near future but without telling them this they gave me (excellent) advice on how to lower my morgate payment in a leagal and wise way. They have amazing resourses behind them and a strong drive to sell homes. There are so many relators out there but few have what it takes to get the job done. They are good at marketing a home and helping get a loan for a new home. I am not easily impressed nor do i waste my time writing bad reviews for companies. I cherry pick who i want to be associated with. They are an excellent team. Now they have a client for life.
