Valero Service Station

Today was the last time I will ever visit this gas station! I have never been treated so rudely without cause. I was pumping diesel gas at pump #8 and it didn’t click off when my tank was full. Every other gas station pump does. Thankfully I was watching it before it could do too much damage but I still had a pool of gas in the fuel pump area and it spilled onto the paint of my car. When I went in to tell the manager (?) this, he told me I was mistaken, the pump wasn’t broken and what did I want him to do about it. I told him that money back would be good for the gas I paid for that didn’t even go in my tank. He said he couldn’t do that and since it was a self serve gas station, this was my fault and not the gas station’s fault. I explained that it’s THEIR broken pump, not mine, but he didn’t care. Wouldn’t even go look to see the damage. I should not have been told it was my fault that their pump spilled gas onto my car. I had to use multiple paper towels and a squeegee to clean off my car before I could leave.
A similar incident happened at Foster City Touchless a few years ago — not only did I get some money back but they gave me a free car wash to get the gas off of my car. THAT is good customer service. I’d rather pay more for my gas there than continue to go here and be treated like I’m an idiot.

I would never rate a gas station.. NEVER! ! But when I am being cheated I have to. Pumped gas here the other day and selected premium which was $ 2.67 a galllon. When I looked at my receipt it said $ 2.87 per gallon. When to talk to the manager, he denied my claims saying it was my mistake. Didn’t even attempt to listen or check his pumps!!! Double check your receipt or drive a few seconds to another gas station. There are many don’t make my mistake!!!

And on top of that you need to deal with idiots, angry, miserable people like this asshole in a truck who decided that I needed to move my car and started yelling, making a scene, Just because he could not park his stupid truck !
Let me add to the review! Since Sam from the store decided to write me! I came for a oil change ! When telling the guy inside that I had an appt, he told me to go next door! Never mention anything about moving my car or anything else! While I was checking in next door, this asshole in the truck, comes out screening «who was the asshole that parked there, I can’t fit my truck, when I said to him I did it, I’ll move he started calling me all kinds of names! While the ridicules attendant inside who saw me park and didn’t say a word, did nothing ! Now, how is it that a attendant job who is to help costumer, allows this type of behavior or worse, doesn’t do anything ?
In my opinion, this business has so many bad reviews, they should defiantly think of getting new staff that will help the costumers!

Nothing special. Not my usual place but I was desperate and this place got the job done. None of the issues that the other reviews mention seem to apply to my visit. Great station if you need some in a pinch getting off of 101 at Whipple.

Really good prices on Diesel and a great location, but they have a $ 75 limit on gas, which just doesn’t fill up my SUV. It is very frustrating that they charge you a filling fee to use a debit card and don’t let you fill up your tank. Many cars require more than $ 75 to fill up given cost of gas today that this limit is ridiculous.
In addition, they have very few Diesel No. 2 pumps — also annoying given the number of cars that now use diesel and you end up waiting in line where all of the other gas pumps are empty.

Forget it. You might as well try to walk across the neighbouring 101 as to try to get any respect or manners or common decency from the ‘people’ who work here.
I’m sick and tired of places like this that treat customers like dirt. I am not asking to be treated like royalty but just as we are treated in every other store — like normal human beings.
A couple of months ago, I filled up on gas then asked to use their air pump. The cashier (since I hesitate to call anyone there a ‘sales’ person) pointed to a small, grubby, hastily scribbled note taped to the counter saying that the air pump was out of action. No apology, no recognition of the fact that I now had to try and get air elsewhere with full tank of gas. Just a smirk on his face. As this stage, the installation of the Propel pumps had been finished for weeks, so it was laziness on their part. Their lack of respect for the customer annoyed me to the extent of not stopping there for a long time — even though it is directly on my route.
Recently, though, I decided to give them another try — after all, everyone is entitled to a second chance, right? Nope, the same shi**y service, lack of basic manners and respect and not even the effing ability to say thank you!!!
Alec P gives them 5 stars for having B5 bio diesel and because nobody else has reviewed them. I was of that thought, too, when I just filled up with gas and paid with plastic. They don’t even deserve the one star that I have to give them in this review — ‘EEK! Methinks not!’…More likely ‘I’d rather push my car to Flyers on El Camino and Brewster for cheaper gas than give them another cent or another ounce of my self-​respect.
Black list them. Give em one star and teach them that it’s not okay to treat customers like this.
