History
Established in 1985.
Upon graduation from Palmer College in Davenport, IA, Dr. Filippi returned to his native California to work as an associate for his chiropractor in Santa Clara from 1982 until 1984. In 1984 he returned to his hometown of Redwood City to begin private practice. Initially with the help of his mom, Mary, running the business end, he opened Sequoia Chiropractic Clinic on February 25, 1985. He has been practicing in the same location ever since.

Business Owner
Dr. Filippi was born and raised in Redwood City, CA. He graduated Cum Laude in 1982 from the oldest and largest chiropractic college in the world, Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Davenport, IA. In 1986 he received his Certifications of Training in Chiropractic Radiological Diagnosis and Chiropractic Orthopedics. He received his Board Certification in Chiropractic Orthopedics, Diplomate Status in 1987.
Dr. Filippi has a wide array of personal interests ranging from cultural activities, historical preservation, and youth music and health education. Dr. Filippi is an avid collector of vintage drums and stereo equipment. Yes, he even has and plays vinyl LP records and reel to reel tapes. Music is an important part of his life when not in the office. He has played and studied drums since 3rd grade and has played in various bands over the years.
When not playing music, he enjoys working on and driving his 1956 Ford Thunderbird classic. «Happiness truly is T-Birding.»
