Chevron

This is my favorite gas station because it’s a «safe» location, and there’s not much room for «long lines» to build up. In other words, the gas station has «single» «gas pumps», or «gas islands».
This is a plus because it allows traffic to stay moving (at least IMO).
+‘s — clean, good location, «no touch» car wash.
-‘s — there’s only ONE car wash.

Good gas prices, but don’t be fooled into buying a carwash. You can’t see the line from the pumps. It looked like there was no one in line. Turns out there were 6 cars ahead of me. It took 32 minutes to get into the wash. Definitely don’t come here on your lunch hour!

Horrible customer service, system issues, pain to pay here. Sorry but I’ll go down the street.

It’s a nice station, and the prices are fair but my tank had never even at empty displaying zero ever filled up with over 16 – 9 gallons today somehow the pump frigate red 17 – 6 My car is only equipped with a 17 gallon tank. Calling weights and measures to come check the pumps out.

Don’t ever come here for a car wash. Slowest car wash ever. Management didn’t even care to help resolve the situation. Faster just to wash it myself.

Has gas and touch less carwash. The manager completely lacks respect and social skills. Their wash broke down with my car inside it and nearly damaged my car. I barely made it out still completely covered in soap.
When I came in to ask for a hose to wash my car off I was interrupted and told to wait, I said I could not wait, was completely ignored and asked again what I wanted. I repeated that I wanted the soap washed off my car. I was told to wait until the manager fixes the wash. I repeated I could not wait and that I did not want to go through the wash again and that I wanted to just get my car hosed off. I was then asked what I wanted again…
So this went on for a while until I was told to use the little hose for refilling washer fluid by the vac to wash off my car.
So. Dear manager, you should treat people like you’d like to be treated.
The car wash is not maintained and will break on your car and they will blame someone before you or you for breaking it. Watch out.

I like this Chevron. It can get busy, but there always seems to be a pump to pull up to when I go. It’s a clean station, the pumps work, and the card reader doesn’t suck. What more can you ask for? Except maybe lower prices!

I have gas: No, not talking about flatulence you silly goose. I’m talking about the Chevron gas station. They have multiple stations, a car wash, and an Extra Mile store.
Remember when gas was cheap: I don’t because I’m not old. Lies, I’m actually old. But when I first started driving, I remember gas being about $ 1.20. Man, the good ol’ days *swipes tear*. As I write this review, gas is about $ 3.71 here (for octane 87). I think this Chevron and the Chevron on Woodside Road (kind of near Shell and that KFC restaurant) have the cheapest gas (among Chevron gas stations in Redwood City). Also, if you’re a member of Safeway and have a Safeway card, you can use your Safeward rewards points to save $.10-$.20 on each gallon of gas.
Food: Going the extra mile to buy junk food from the Extra Mile can be a little hazardous to your wallet. Snacks are a little expensive, but that’s expected from a gas station. The place is pretty clean and finding snacks wasn’t hard at all.
Pass gas: I wouldn’t pass this gas station. This place doesn’t stink at all. The prices are fairly competitive, the place is clean, and there’s not a lot of waiting for the pumps.

Good diesel (yes, they have diesel!) and gas prices. Easy corner location with an Extra Mile convenience store, which offers an array of refreshments and clean bathrooms.
A brushless car wash too – only $ 5 for basic wash with fuel purchase. A quick DIY hand dry and your car looks like you used one of the high dollar car washes.

Came by for a fill-​up the other day as the app on my phone said this Chevron was the cheapest gas in this part of town!
This station is obviously corporately-​owned (as opposed to a franchise) as the property was spotlessly clean with all pumps in good working order, paper towels stocked, and squeegee in good condition with plenty of soapy water.
The only minor downside is that this station is halfway between the Woodside and Whipple exits from the 101…

Unless these blonde-​dying, bicep-​building compadres decide to move to New Jersey anytime soon (aka: be banished to a wasteland of nightmares), no one will be pumping their gas for them. In fact, they will be pumping it for themselves while their annoying children throw tantrums in the back of their Yukon Deluxes.
And if their husbands’ jobs relocated them to the San Francisco Bay Area, forcing them to move to the peninsula hotbed of Redwood City… and if they had to get their car washed for the first time after driving up the I-​5 (or 101 if they were patient and brave)… I would recommend the Chevron Gas Station on Veterans Blvd.
The gas is delicious! The layout is exquisite! The pumps are magnanimous!
But what I really want to commend them for is their car wash. I just brought my 2000 Honda Accord here (her name is Wanda… she hates it when I define her by her race) and she loved every minute of the experience. You pay at the pump and can choose between 3 options: $ 5, $ 7 or $ 9. Wanda resembled Pigpen so I opted for the $ 7 wash because I didn’t know if $ 9 included waxing which she doesn’t like without good warning (she wants to at least trim down there first).
I rolled around the corner and typed in the code that was presented to me on the machine. Wanda started purring and going into reverse because she was nervous, but I calmed her down. I said «baby, you got this. We’ll do this together. I won’t leave your side. You hear me? Not for one second.» After a few gentle strokes of the wheel, she let me ride her in.
We sat together… part in fear but mostly in awe… as the water came rushing down Wanda’s backside… then flowing from her front all the way to her rear. The soap piled on and was washed away by more water. Finally the green light flashed and I pulled forward to the drier. This part was a little unclear. I wasn’t sure if I stayed still or drove through. Turns out you drive through it. Since I hesitated a little at first, the front window remains a little moist.
Soon as I pulled Wanda out of the driveway, she screamed «again!» in my ears, with the vibrancy she used to hold as a mere lassie. For as dirty as she was, the car wash did a wonderful job. I plan on making more frequent visits so Wanda can enjoy this cleangasm more than once a year.

Fabulous pump layout. Not overpriced (for a top tier station). Great car wash. Nice convenience store. This station is rarely more than a few cents higher than the «no name» station near my house, in fact lately it has been cheaper. What more can you ask for from a gas station?
