Specialties

We are a «NO KILL» not for profit charity 501c (3) that is run completely by volunteers located in Redondo Beach, CA. We are dedicated to finding loving forever homes for domestic rabbits that have been abused, abandoned or neglected. We focus mainly on rabbits that are facing death in shelters. We are their last and only hope for survival. All of our rescued bunnies receive all necessary veterinary care, socialization, litter box training and are spay/neutered before being placed for adoption. Please never buy your pet. Always adopt, rescue, or take in a animal from a shelter. You will literally be saving your pet’s life.

History

Established in 2007.

In 2007, our founder Linda received a phone call stating there were 2 starving rabbits that had been dumped in a local park. The two rabbits she had been called about was actually more than 30 sick, injured, and starving bunnies. Some of the bunnies were so hungry they were eating feathers to stay alive. Others suffered from raccoon, hawk, and other predator injuries as well as respiratory illness, parasites, and fly strike. These rabbits were dying and many had already died tragic deaths from being exposed to the elements.

Linda quickly got to work building cages, getting veterinary care,

feeding, administering medication, and giving the dying bunnies much

needed attention and love. Thus, Too Many Bunnies Rabbit Rescue was founded.

Thanks to our much needed volunteers, to date Too Many Bunnies Rabbit Rescue has rescued, rehabilitated, treated, loved, and rehomed more than 2000 rabbits.

Meet the Business Owner

Linda B.

Business Owner

Linda is the founder of Too Many Bunnies Rabbit Rescue. Linda

has always been a lover of rabbits and had always had a pet bunny or

two. Sometimes people would give Linda their unwanted bunnies and

Linda would rehome the bunnies for them.

Then on December 23, 2007 Linda received a call from a woman stating

that there were two rabbits stranded on a island in a local park. «They

were starving, could she please come rescue them.»

Linda now devotes 100% of her time, love, and devotion to the many rabbits at the rescue. There’s not enough hours in the day to do all of the work. But, somehow, Linda does a amazing job with the help of her wonderful volunteers.
