I’m a fan of Recycling, and this is a good location that’s convenient for me, ‘tho it’s a bit of a hike from the recycling center over to the redemption center to get your cash, it’s not all too inconvenient. I notice the machine is a bit fickle at times not accepting certain CACRV redemption cans, bottles and plastics where at times you need to re-insert them and they are accepted, but other times they simply are rejected. The CRV is a good system to encourage recycling by charging you and forcing you to return the containers for an even-steven money back transaction. It can be a bit of an inconvenience to stock up and bring, but in the name of the environment it’s worthwhile.

This company does not accept soup/tuna cans(was told to throw them in the trash) and wine bottles, glass jars or other glass containers(even those that say CACRV) are«not eligible» for redemption. Only beer bottles are«eligible»…at least according to the employee that was working there. I had the misfortune of bringing my bottles and cans to this location. To say that the employee at this location was«less than helpful» would be giving him a compliment. I completely agree with the other reviewer– the employee in this location is miserable and will suck the joy from your day. I’ve visited other RePlanet locations– Hawthorne Blvd. and Torrance Blvd. and have never had an experience like this.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. The guy that works here is so rude and always in a shitty mood. It absolutely ruins my day when I go to this place.
