Julia Varga Photography- The Art of Life

Julia recently did the photography for my daughter’s hastily planned, immediate families only wedding on the beach In Santa Monica. Words can’t describe how much of a contribution Julia made to this special day.
From our first phone conversation only a few weeks prior to the event, Julia was wam, welcoming, reassuring, and creative in her suggestions. When she met my daughter at her home in Santa Monica, she could immediately see how important my daughter’s two beloved dogs are to her, and knowing that dogs aren’t allowed on the beach during daytime hours, she suggested having a photo shoot in a lovely spot she scouted out in their neighborhood, before the wedding, with the dogs! Julia even brought artificial flowers on vines that she wrapped around their leashes to add to the wreaths we had ordered for the dogs from the florist!
Her participation from start to finish was warm, enthusiastic, and fun! She quickly adapted to changes in the wedding day schedule when we were running late, and she figured out alternatives for the family photos that worked out really well.
Her photos of the happy couple and of the ceremony were simply breathtaking, taking full advantage of the gorgeous setting of the beach just before, during, and after sunset.
Beyond the quality of the photos, her personal style of enthusiasm and warmth made this day even more special. We feel so lucky to have found her and can’t recommend her highly enough!

First off, be careful what you buy. I bought a living social voucher that I would not have paid $ 169 for 10 pictures. I would have paid $ 33 for the same amount of pictures. The online gallery that supposedly has access to the pictures is no longer accessible; it has not been 30 days. She’s a lair that she told us it will be done by a certain time, she does not deliver. She does not respond to emails and calls, after we have other question’s regarding photos; that’s not how business is done. I sent an email, she does not respond. She gets the money and she disappears. We live in an age where we get emails on hand. There’s a reason why she’s on living social, the reason is to get clients and keep clients. She is nice but I would have someone half as nice with a better business communication.

Julia is absolutely amazing!!! She did the most incredible shoot for my family and we are so blessed to have found her!!! So accommodating and helpful– and the pictures were beautiful!!! Don’t look anywhere else when you need a photographer!!!

Julia came to our house to do a shoot with me and my beautiful girls. We have horses and Julia was game to photograph them with us– she had never shot horses before and was excited and up for the challenge. We also shot some photos with our dogs. She shot us all together and individually, never mind that it was a Groupon shoot, she treated us like we had spent a fortune!
Our CD included ten images… the only trouble I had was editing my choices! She took so many images!
She was personable and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed our photo shoot and love the photos we got out of it.

I found Julia through a Living Social deal… you never know what you’re going to get with one of those, but she was great! I was very impressed with her enthusiasm in getting my 2 year old and 4 year old to smile for the camera (it was over the top, which is necessary when dealing with little kids). She is seriously a gem! Our pictures were at the beach and we were very pleased with the results, they captured us perfectly. I’m excited for how great our Christmas card photos are going to look this year! We’ll absolutely use her moving forward.

Wow… I am so incredibly happy to have found this amazing photographer. What a great talent! I recently had a family photo shoot with Julia and the photos were beyond my expectations. She is also super friendly and knew exactly how to keep my young kids engaged (that’s no easy task!). Can’t wait till our next shoot!
