I have heard of multiple horror stories when it comes to hair salons and clients not getting what they want, but at this salon, it’s a completely different story. The environment is very great and they make sure they know exactly what you want.
But this particular review is for Noemi Ramos. She is AMAZING!!! I only trust her with my hair, and every time she does anything to it, I’m amazed at how great it looks. I mostly leave my hair style up to her because I trust her so much. And I am NEVER disappointed.
If you want the best hair experience, go see her. You will not regret it!

The owner of this salon is amazing! He is a total professional, I have never loved my hair more then I do now. Definitely recommend him to anyone! Oh! And he cuts my husbands hair, also does an amazing job!

This was my worst haircut experience.
I wanted my hair 2 – 3 inches shorter… but when i left i felt like BOLD.
The girl cut me way too short!!!
I lost in this place all my beautiful hair that i was growing for the past 2 years.
I am very upset, i cant even make a tail. :(
If you want to keep your hair beautiful I do not recommend you visiting this place.

I highly recommend Jason Patrick Salon. There are great people working there but Said has been cutting my hair since I moved to So Cal. He’s extremely talented and loves what he does. It doesn’t hurt he’s a great guy too! Fair prices and excellent service, what else do you need?

Everything was great until I decided to do the Ombré look. Months before we went darker brown, which i came back for and that was fine, thats why I’m giving 2 stars instead of one… THEN came the ombré. Dear Sweet Baby Jesus I looked one hot MESS. It took her 4plus hours. I could tell she was rushing and trying to speed up the process by putting me under a heat lamp. She used foil, witch didn’t allow the color to blend beautifully, instead I had a stair case up and down the back of my head. Clearly she could see the job she did. Her and the other hair dresser kept saying «it looks so good» Im pretty good at keeping my cool, Im not a cry baby when it comes to money, although it was $ 300. STAY AWAY, if a hair dresser is going to let me walk out looking like a did, trying to reassure me just to get a dollar, I promise I won’t be the last. I stayed in the house for 3 days and did not leave until I found a different hair dresser, who was just as in disbelief than me, that a licensed hair dresser did the job she did. She should have said «I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO OMBRE» and I would have said «OK».

Been coming here for 4 yrs and is the only place that I trust to get my hair done also has high end products like Aveda. Said, is the best and my hair is so much healthier then ever also long.

Saed has been doing my hair for 6 years. He is the only one I trust to cut my hair and apply hair color. Love my long hair. I get lots of nice compliments when I get my hair done at Jason Patrick! Thanks, Saed.

So the tough part about cutting hair as a profession is that you are typically judged on your last hair cut. With regard to Jason Patrick Salon and Said in particular, I could judge him off the last cut or the last 30 cuts, it doesn’t matter, because each time, he does a great job. Always respectful and professional, Said listens and always responds very well to my requests. But what has made me keep coming back to Said is the simple fact that his cuts make your hair look good for weeks to come.
Two more important points, atmosphere and attitude. The atmosphere of the salon is always easy and relaxed and so is the attitude of Said. It makes something routine, enjoyable.

I have been a client since they opened and the owner Said is definitely a color expert!!! I get compliments on my hair all the time and it feels great! The salon is really really clean which is important to me! Every single stylist is precessional and they are continually trained on the latest trends! I would recommend you go here for sure!

Lindsey is THE man!!! After going to the same stylist for years and being unhappy with the results, I finally took the leap and tried someone new. I have a tendency to be difficult because I know what I want and if it’s not exactly right I will obsess over it. Lindsey did a fabulous job not only on my cut but on my color… he gave me exactly what I had been wanting and was not getting at my old stylist. My hair color is perfect!!! I am a Lindsey convert and I will be letting others know how great he is. This is a stylist who listens and actually hears what his client wants… words cannot say how thrilled I am with my hair… I haven’t felt this good about it in a long time.

I have been going to Said for the past 4 years and I have never left with a hair cut I did not love! He’s cut my hair as a bob and also with long layers, he can do it all. He pays great attention to detail and is very easy to share your comments and ideas with. He is great and I have and would definitely recommend him!

It’s deep into February and I STILL have great hair! Relief, joy, love for Said — pronounced: Sayeed… money well spent.
There IS a difference in not only products but technique for getting a Braz. Blowout. I know because I’ve gone elsewhere and been sorely disappointed.

I’ve been going to Sayeed at Jason Patrick Salon for about a year now. I’m a really picky customer. Fancy salons don’t impress me, but a good cut and end product and a clean salon do.
I don’t care about someone who chit chats the whole time. In fact, I like that about Sayeed, he focuses on your hair. For years, it was a pet peeve of mine that these hairdressers I would go to would feel their social skills were part of the price of admission.
He’s very accommodating to your schedule which is also very important to me. I realize I’m not the perfect customer that books weeks in advance, but he took me at 6pm on a weekday recently– which really helped me out.
He is very precise in his cutting and goes back over after drying and styling to ensure there are no areas he missed. He really seems to excel in coloring my hair to the most beautiful blonde color. :) his prices are competitive w/​the area.
Of course, I would love (like anyone) to save a little bit more money but I haven’t found anyone less expensive that is as good as Sayee is. I just try to space out my appointments so that I can afford his services.
As long as I am a local resident I think I will continue to visit Jason Patrick salon for my cut and color. I highly recommend them to those who are interesting in quality and a no nonsense salon experience.
Oh and his music and sound system rocks :)

I saw a great add on the Internet for 50% off so i called and booked an appointment early this month.
When I got there I wasn’t greeted. There were a couple stylists and they didn’t even say Hi and it was super quiet. Talk about awkward!
Finally the presumed stylist for my scheduled appointment approached and sat me down to talk. The first thing I thought was odd was that her breath smelled like alcohol!!! I swear to this day that she had been drinking!
When it came to the shampoo and condition I was displeased with the excessive amount of shampoo in my ears.
She couldn’t stop talking during the cut… Well I mean she did stop cutting my hair to talk though. I told her no more than 3 inches off on the shorter part of my layers. I told her i wanted to keep my length.
BIG SURPRISE. When my hair was dried I saw that she cut off a foot of my hair!!! A whole foot!!!
She did it inch by inch and had me fooled.
Look i was kind of in shock and in the mode of «OK Maybe i just need to get used to the cut. So I payed and left.
I regret not leaving when any of these things happened during the process of my hair getting cut.
When I got home I used a mirror to look at the back of my hair. None of the layers were even. AND not in the fun flirty way. It was the I just cut my hair myself kind of style. When I woke up today and saw my hair I got so pissed that I had to wright a review and warn others! I am mad that i payed for my confidence to be hacked and that I still can’t wear my hair down.
I shouldn’t have paid. I should have left. AND I am not going back.

PS The haircut was not worth the 50% I payed. Nevermind the fact that without the discount it would have been $ 70.

Last week I noticed a big article in one of Redondo’s local papers, the Easy Reader, titled «A styling star lands in Redondo».
The write-​up was about celeb hair stylist Scott Parker, and said that at age 23 he’d already opened his own salon in Beverly Hills & went on to do hair for characters on TV & film, and more than 100 album covers. I’m talking the likes of David Bowie, Anne Heche, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and…*cough*Al Pacino…
Well.
I read that entire great article, about Scott’s creative philosophies & his rep in the industry… and made an appointment for a consultation the very next day.
I’ve been driving to Beverly Hills to get my hair done, and Scott still does work in BH a couple days a week. But now he has the idea to set up shop in Redondo, too… for us locals who want BH quality without the travel hassle.
Um…count me in.
Upon first chatting with Scott, I immediately knew our ideas would click.
His biz card says «Hair God».
It also says that this award-​winning stylist has been named one of the top 10 in the U.S. of A., a specialist in cutting, coloring, extensions & permanent straightening.
As if that was not enough, the Redondo salon is «green», meaning it uses environmentally-​friendly products that ensure no harmful chemicals will penetrate one’s scalp.
My first appointment was today, at which time I got color, highlights & cut. Does my hair look great? Of course.
Does the salon offer easy, free street parking just off PCH near my home? Yep.
Cost? Comparatively, affordable. Trust me.
Did I have fun talking with Scott? OMG!
Good thing I brought a check, because for now it’s check or cash, no plastic.
Scott hadn’t heard of Unilocal before today. I mentioned the site, but didn’t tell him I would be writing a review. Oh boy is he in for a nice surprise… hehe…
