Great doctor!! I’ve been going to Dr Humble for all my beautification needs for years. She listens and does what’s best. Never any bruises everrrr. Very happy with her, she does a good job and because of it I look pretty good for my age. I have another appointment today and I’m optimistic.

I saw Dr, Humble when she had a free botox special. It was offered by a company that manufactures the botox, not Dr Humble. She told me on the phone that she had a new product called voluma which «can last up to 2 years». I decided to try it on an area of my cheek that lacked volume and my laugh lines. It looked nice for about 1 month. When I returned saying it didn’t last as she claimed, her solution was to sell me restalyne for the same area because it had a better price point, not because it wourk work any better. She also said Voluma doesn’t work as well in the lower face because we movie it around so much more than the upper face, though she didn’t tell me this before I decided to use it on my lower face. Finally in Feb., I went back again to complain. I had actually put this off thinking it would not go well. It went much worse than I imagined. I suggested that if she didn’t want to refund me any of the thousands of dollars I spent then she could inject me in the upper face with voluma which had been slightly more successful – lasting for about 3 months. First she couldn’t find her paper work. She then left the room and returned with a very fresh looking paper which showed that I had a botox and voluma treatment in Oct. but had been charged for only the botox. Office error she said. Stunned, I said, I am not the type of patient to walk out knowing I was paying for only 1 procedure but had had 2. I think when she realized she was accusing me of essentially stealing this treatment she changed her tact and told me she had probably given it to me free because I was unhappy. She had done nothing of the sort or I would never have felt compelled to write such a negative review.

I have been a patient of Dr Humbles for many years and she is absolutely one of the best injectors out there! She train doctors all over the world to inject filler and botox because she is an expert in the field. I have trusted my face to her and everybody says I look great! But nobody thinks I did anything because it looks so natural! She is a very caring and honest person as well. So happy I found her!

I went into the office and had a pixel treatment last week which was new for me and was treated very professionally by Dr. Humble, she explained what the next few days after procedure would be like and how my face would be healed within 3 days as the old skin peeled off and my new layer came in… I really liked it… I have had botox about once a year with her previously and she also carries the best sunscreen product for me with a tint in it. And its easily accessible with plenty of parking. for me its all about convenience and getting professional advice

I have been seeing Gail Humble for a year now. I see her on a variety of treatments as who wants to look old? With that being said, I will start with fillers and botox. Gail Humble is an excellent injector. I’m almost 40 and have been doing botox for about 10 years and fillers for about 3. She is by far the best injector I have ever used, as she is quick, efficient and doesn’t «overfill.» I do not wish to look like a housewife of any of those tv shows, only minimize sagging and wrinkling. What brought me to Gail Humble initially is she is one of the only people in the south bay that perform the vampire facelift. While, I did that treatment, it personally didn’t work on me. I saw no results and with a north of $ 1000.00 price tag, was not worth to me. Then I saw her for fillers. She numbed the area and did under my eyes and also my laugh lines. She fills low so that my skin is lifted as opposed to product being what lifts. I don’t fill the puffy pillows that I have felt with other injectors. I took a girlfriend with me to observe and she was amazed at the tire being inflated. (How rude of my friend to say, but true and funny) A+ in that area. She also does botox and insists upon leaving me with some expression, against what I want. Though, frozen forehead is so last year. I truly appreciate her wanting to keep me looking my best and as close to natural as possible. I also do IPL for my pigmentation. That darn sun! But I’m active, surf, ski, shred, etc… so the sun is unavoidable. I do wear my sunscreen and even reapply. None the less, I have spots and am in process of getting rid of them. I would refer Gail Humble to any person or friend of mine. She is top notch!

I have been going to Dr. Humble for over 10 years. I am always getting told that I do not look my age. Definitely a 5 star rating.

Dr. Humble is an artist, literally and figuratively! I would not entrust my face, my canvas, to anyone else. Always professional and timely, Dr. Humble does her best to fit me in, at times, with short notice — which is so appreciated.
Her staff is great, polite and helpful.
During a recent business trip, an aesthetician, in another city, asked me who «managed my face because I looked years younger than my paperwork suggested.
«Gail Humble, in Los Angeles,» I said. The aesthetician beamed, «really?,» saying that Dr. Humble was one of the top experts that major filler companies send out to train other doctors! Of course, I already knew this, and clearly others do to, but that just made my day! Funny that it feels that good to have others validate your choices.
I’m constantly referring friends to Dr. Humble; I’ve never thought twice about it. I think that says it all.
As an added bonus, parking is free and plentiful at her office!

I went to Dr. Humble 8 years ago for Botox & lip injection, where I was extremely happy with the result. I moved 100 miles to south year after, went to another well known medical clinic in OC for the same treatment. It was a disaster. Botox dropped to my upper eye lids & lips looked too swollen, very unnatural. When I went back to OC Clinic, requesting them to correct that, the clinic told me that’s how it works and I need to wait few weeks for the Botox to take effect & that my lips aren’t exagerated. Depressed, I immediately called Dr. Humble’s office, asking if they can help me. Dr. Humble was very empathetic, explained to me exactly what went wrong and corrected the disaster. She is an artist, precise, listens, knows exactly what patients want & delivers the best result skillfully. I’ve recomended few friends to her and they are all happy. I will travel 100 miles to continue going to her.

Years ago (back when the Dr. was still paired with Dr. Mest, I think in Hermosa Beach?) I purchased a «lifetime» silicone lip injection package. This was for micro droplets of silicone, off label, to be injected directly into the lips. I had a friend who had gotten the same thing from Dr. Humble and got great results. I attended an open house they held, and after some snazzy sales speak, decided to buy into this service as well. «Lifetime» meaning that I was to come back as many times I wanted to get the results I was looking for, and that I could come back and get touch ups as needed down the road. This was not cheap, especially for the time (@ $ 1000).
I think I went for the silicone 3 times total. Results were ok, but I was not where I wanted to be.
I ended up moving out of the area and life happened. Fast forward and I decided I wanted to go a bit bigger. I called the new office and was told there was no record of this lifetime agreement! And also no record of me as a patient! Of course, stupid me, had misplaced the original paperwork during my move. I was told they would talk to the Dr. and she would call me back. She would/​should remember me, no? No one ever got back to me after several attempts. How secure can their system be, if medical records (!) go missing?
So I’m out the money I paid in advance for a «lifetime» of services, and got way less than $ 1000 worth. I live on, just with semi-​thin lips. Too bad, because I really liked the Dr. the few times I saw her.
Buyer beware: keep ALL your documentation, especially if buying into a multi-​visit deal. Or you may mysteriously drop out of their system like I did.

I have been a patient at Dr. Humble’s various locations for over 10+ years (back when she was partnered with Dr. Mest. Sadly I mistakenly followed Dr. Humble when they split when I should have stayed with Dr. Mest). During this time I was seen 100% by her staff which was fine. I would come in for the same laser procedure and it was so fast and easy that I was able to have the treatments on my lunch breaks. The last time I was there, about 2 months ago, I was seen by Dr. Humble for the first time. The wait was outrageous and she said that her employees hadn’t known what they were doing with me and that was why I was still coming… um… great.
I went in for the next procedure last week and unfortunately I was seen by Dr. Humble again. I waited for 45 minutes while she tried to pacify me by offering me lunch — no thank you. I am just here for my procedure and have my own lunch plans which you are ruining with every minute you leave me waiting…
She can tell that I am irritated by the time she gets me started on the procedure and tells me that she is going to get ‘more aggressive’ today, presumably to give me better results for wasting so much of my time? I told her repeatedly that she was hurting me to which she replied that it was going to give me great results and that she was almost done. Well, she was not almost done, she did not even work on half of my face and she burned me so badly that it left my face blistered… please see my pictures.
It hurt and I was frustrated as I told her repeatedly it was hurting and she wouldn’t listen. I have had this procedure for years and know what it should feel like. On previous visits my skin was not even pink afterwards.
She knew my skin was burned but kept calling it ‘angry spots’ and applying ice (which is not normal for this procedure) and some other ointment which I pointed out was burning…
It only became worse from here:
* Still charged me $ 40 for the procedure — really? You still charge someone such a nominal amount when you know it wasn’t a good experience?
* I was so upset about it all that I forgot my credit card and they never even called or emailed me even though they email me their promotions and I had just provided them with my ‘updated’ email address that day.
* She left whatever that ointment was smeared all over my face like it was icing and didn’t tell me. I went back to work not working that it was still all over me
* Dr. Humble did not bother to call or email me to see if I was ok — this is the worst part. It would have taken only a moment for her. Doctors are people and make mistakes but if you know you were wrong — have the decency to check on the person…
Good bye Dr. Humble. Please remove me from your patient list

I went to Dr. Humble 3 times for Botox. Each time I went, the Botox lasted only 1 – 2 months. I think she was using watered down Botox or she had left the vile open longer than 2 weeks. Because, NOW I go to a plastic surgeon’s office and my Botox lasts at least 3 – 6 months.
Also the second I went, my appointment was at 8 am and Dr. Humble didn’t show up until 8:30 and she said she was hung over from just getting back from NYC. 1. Don’t tell me that while I’m about to get a procedure done and 2. That is super unprofessional.
Needless to say, I won’t be going back.

Let me first start off by saying that Dr. Gail Humble is a very professional, personable, customer service oriented doctor. I think she is great. When I first had my skin treated by her she spent a good amount of time assessing my skin condition and answering any questions I may have had. The issue I had with my last experience, however, was the service received by her staff.
I recently had a skin peel done and when the peel was applied, I was told ‚“Ok you’re done,” without any offer for a fan to blow on my face for a couple of minutes as the peel was burning my skin a lot. Secondly, I was offered no sunblock post peel application which you need to protect your skin after such treatments (MD Humble made sure of these two aspects during my last peel), and thirdly when I left the price went up (not a big deal), but when I asked about the price going up from my last appointment I was just told,” Well that’s what it says here now.” Also, wasn’t asked for a follow up appointment (not that big of a deal as well. Just thought they would like repeat business. Guess my $ 120 was too little for them).
Honestly, I felt like I was being rushed out and not given proper minimal post peel care. I think if you are getting a treatment from Dr. Humble herself, you will have a much more pleasant experience. The staff needs some additional training, including customer service.

Purchased skin rejuvenation package on Groupon and also IPL later on. They will CHANGE appointments on you multiple times (she called out sick, etc.), yet they will CHRGE you if you ever try to move your appointment… uh, it goes both ways? RUDE receptionists that NEVER calls you back and this place does NOT have the top of the line machines. I tried Dr. Laser in Manhattan Beach and although they’re very «SALE”-sy and customer service sucks as well, they DO have the top of the line machines that don’t hurt. I screamed when I went to get services done and they said that’s normal, which turned out to be totally false when I tried other places. Oh and the numbing cream they use is also HORRIBLE compared to other places. Doesn’t numb you and literally feels like Slimer from Ghost Busters landed on your face!!! The nurse was very nice, hope she can find a better job at better place w/​nicer owner. I ended up getting refund from Groupon for my last service b/​c I was done w/​them.

JUST SAY NO to Dr. Humble!!! I really wish I had read the reviews on Unilocal before purchasing my groupon :(First: they had to change my appointment, and when I showed up for my scheduled time, they dismissively told me that it was scheduled for the following day. The receptionist was SUPER RUDE! And when I explained that I had rearranged my schedule to be there they allowed me to have my appointment. They gave me absolutely no pre procedure information when I scheduled the appointment (for vein removal), but I had called to ask about it and the nurse told me that the doctor was really quick and that the procedure did not hurt at all. NOT TRUE! It was a series of injections, how would that not hurt? And the doctor, who seemed a little ‘off’ would jam the needle in and then move it around. Ouch! And then she had me stand in the middle of the room while she did this, with nothing to lean on, and it made me unsteady and was even more painful. I explained numerous times to her that I was squeamish about needles, but she was also rude and did not seem to care in the least. After about 20 minutes of this, I actually became dizzy and a little nauseous and she wanted to stop the treatment. I told her I would be fine, and we might as well finish the treatment while I was there, but she told me I should come back at a later date to finish. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED HER IF THERE WOULD BE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR COMING BACK FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE TREATMENT AND SHE LOOKED ME IN THE FACE AND SAID NO. The nurse also confirmed that there would not be an extra charge, since I was only coming in for the second half of the treatment I had already paid for.
And when I booked the follow up appointment, the receptionist (who took another opportunity to be incredibly rude) also confirmed there would not be another charge. I asked to get something in writing, since something about the whole place seemed a little off, and she told me there was a note in the chart and I did not need anything in writing.
But guess what? When I showed up for my follow up appointment THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME ALMOST THE FULL AMOUNT FOR WHAT I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR THE TREATMENT! The doctor complained that she lost money on Groupon, so was trying to get more out of me. And then tried to tell me that they charged $ 75. for no show appointments, so she felt justified charging me the extra fee, even though I had not been a no show, and HAD ALREADY PAID THE FULL AMOUNT FOR THE TREATMENT!
Rude staff and totally dishonest about not charging me for the second half of the treatment I had already paid for. I’d think twice about seeing this doctor!

I’ve seen Dr Humble since long before Groupon existed, so am happy to add my two cents: Dr Humble is gifted at what she does. Her work with fillers, Botox and other products is just short of miraculous. In fact, I believe she trains other doctors on how to use certain products and how to perform certain procedures. The outcome she can achieve is amazing and yet subtle. Your friends will think you’ve just returned from a week in Hawaii!

Went there b/​c they had a Groupon for spider vein treatment. The receptionist/​phone person had an attitude (young girl). Dr. Humble was nice and did a good job. But what bothered me was that I wasn’t told about the compression stockings until after the treatment. Had to pay a whopping extra $ 38 (and they ripped already on day 2). Could’ve purchased them elsewhere ahead of time for $ 8 if I’d been told. Was also trying to push another purchase «You’ll need another treatment. It’s $ 150. I’ll see you in 8 wks.» Oh no, you won’t!

Dr. Gail Humble is an artist, she can do things with Botox and fillers that others imply can’t. I ended up in her office from a Groupon for the Laaser Genesis, not many of them in LA and her tech was so good and took double the time I have had others spend on my face. She is a true pro and I ended up getting multiple procedures from her. I have had skin issues my entire life and she is getting my acne under control without a bunch of products. She doesn’t «sell» you and I appreciate that in this economic climate. She is an expert and knows her stuff. I don’t even mind the hour drive to get there because she makes that big of a difference. She is the one to see and I have seen plenty.

I had a thermitight procedure done and found dr. Humble completely unprofessional. The procedure supposedly has a fail safe method where the temperature is regulated and you don’t get burned. I was burned and had to spend a week in the hospital. She was unapologetic and dismissive of my experience.
If you google the procedure, more people are getting burned in thin skin areas. Go with a very experienced doctor. Dr Humble is not that person.

I only heard of Dr Humble via «Groupon». Groupon is this new cool thang where they email you special deals in your area for stuff and you need to buy them pronto in order to take advantage of them.
I purchased a Groupon for a beauty/​medical service from this doc. I was unaware at the time that she is not a board certified dermatologist but an anesthesiologist. I actually had no problem with that given my particular procedure. For continuity purposes let me state that I was not given enough pre-​op instructions and sadly was not prepared, even though I did scour the net on my own prior to prepare-​STRIKE ONE
After locating the place on PCH-​easy to find, parking good. I hung around the sunny office for 5 full minutes before a receptionist came out. The receptionist was nice enough as well as the young lady in scrubs that assisted the doc. I did have to change my appt twice and whoever took care of that was super coolio. I saw the MD 40 minutes after set appt.
While I was waiting I was aware something was not right in the office. Maybe the phones or computers were down I am not sure what but the doc was not in the best of moods and she was complaining about something to the receptionist within my earshot. Not a serious violation of course, but it set the scene. BALL
Pre procedure both the MD and assistant asked if I had questions. The doctor in a slightly rude way. Since I usually pre study, I kinda had none but hey the internet can be wrong so, I came up with a few to which the MD refused to answer nodding to the assistant to answer. I guess those of us with groupons are unworthy of being acknowledged. BALL
The MD did not seem to be aware that I was a bit anxious and did indeed want her professional opinion on the best way to address my particular problem and get the most out of my groupon. I told her this was all new to me. She hastenly, roughly, and grouchily-​yes I invent words– injected 1 syringe into me-​I thought and was led to believe that was the max she was supposed to do according to my prepaid groupon. But later found out I was entitled to the 4!!!
Several times during the procedure I asked her to tell me when she was going to stick the needle in me so I could brace myself to which she simply refused with a shake of her head. I also reminded her to utilize alcohol at the puncture sites which I think really pissed her off. STRIKE TWO
Dr Humble scurried out after the above mentioned syringe was dry with an off handed «Oh by the way you will get and allergic reaction» to which I panicked saying «WHAT»? Of course, my clarification came from the assistant as the MD was already out the door tending to more important $$ clients or the computer repairmen or whatever.

Yeeeeeerrrr OUT!
Be aware that any sort of MD can do the procedure I had done after attending a weekend seminar. And this is NOT a good thing. It is scary. Do do do go to board certified dermatologists or someone with proven expertise, training and a positive track record in whatever procedure you are having done. I in my desire to get a deal neglected to check credentials-​relying on a couple other Unilocalers.
I am pretty sure Dr Humble was hoping to recruit some new clients/​patients via the groupon. What she seemed to fail to realize is that these particular procedures are both ELECTIVE and MEDICAL. First, I was a customer that was treated rudely-​who can choose anywhere to get this done, and second I was a medical patient that was frightened, felt pain, and deserves the utmost in excellence in my care in regard to cleanliness, professionalism and respect. I also was not the sort of client to upset as I am in m 40s with disposable income and very interested in keeping purty.
PS after further review of the groupon information and recalling exactly what happened I can confidently say that I believe this MD definitely ripped me off. 4 1cc syringes where brought into the room-​only one was used. My appt lasted less than 10 minutes. That was the most expensive 10 min of my life. I really want a refund!

I’ve been gong to Dr Humble for almost a decade and she is… amazing. Where to start?! Injectables: She has actually been part of the clinical trials for the most recent and groundbreaking ones, so she has more experience with them than other doctors. HER TASTE/​AESTHETICS ARE AMAZING. She has never miscalculated in order to get the effect I’m after. And she listens. Plus, she has THE lightest touch with injectibles I’ve ever experienced. (For Sculptra I’d read that it had to be injected more deeply than others so I was pretty tense about it. Even for that she was so gentle.)
Anyhow…she’s on the cutting edge. Her taste is great. Her staff is friendly and always helpful. And her new location has plenty of FREE parking with no time limit!
Oh one more thing. If something is NOT necessary, or if — after consulting — she feels it needs to be addressed surgically she will actually PASS on making the money and (like any GOOD doctor) advise you to take the best course of action and just come back for other things in the future. SHE ROCKS!
