Christine is great! I brought a princess pedi/​mani for my little girl and she loves the extra sparkles Christine put on her nails! We will be back for more visits!

I went in to get my nails done today before the school year begins. I’m a teacher and like to do some fun designs in my school colors at the start of the year.
I am so happy with my nails. Christine is nice and pays attention to detail. She really knows what she is doing and has so many fun techniques to make your nails look great.
The spa was clean and I felt completely relaxed the whole time.
I will certainly be coming back again and again!

Why didn’t anyone tell me about this earlier? I HATED going to nail salons where you don’t know if you can get in right away or get in 30 minutes from now. Even if you made an apt over the phone, you’re still waiting. With Christine, when you get there, she’s waiting for you! As a busy working mom, my time is important to me.
I love the personalized experience. I sit in the chair, I get a neck warmer, and Christine is always making sure that I’m comfortable. I get the one-​on-​one attention, which is fantastic. She’s an excellent conversationalist and she really knows her products. She does not push her products on me or try to upsell me on things that I don’t want or need.
A another thing to mention is clean, clean, clean! Everything is clean and you never have to wonder if the equipment was sanitized between clients. (You know how shady those nail salons can be with rotating customers!) Christine is very proud of her sanitizing machine — she pointed it out to me when we were chatting.
All of her products are either natural or organic. My legs and feet feel so soft after a spa pedicure.
If price is your concern, I’ll just say that you get what you pay for. I used to never get a pedicure because of the price and service; I could do it at home for free. But now that I’m going to Christine, I know I’m getting my money’s worth. It’s beyond someone rubbing cheap lotion on your legs and painting your nails. This is someone using high-​end products to take care of your skin and nails. The painting is just the bonus.
I highly recommend Christine.

Christine is so great! I have her do my gel polish manicure every couple of weeks. I’ve never had gel polish stay on my nails as long as it does when Christine does it (I’m a hairdresser, which is rough on polish!). I go to her for sugaring as well & she is gentle and thorough. I happily refer clients to her and recommend her highly.
Once Upon a Spa is a cute, comfortable and private space and it’s super easy to park in the garage right outside! Christine offers hot drinks as well which is always awesome :)

Ok so here’s the deal. As a man, I am not at all experienced with getting a facial. That said, I was gifted an Express Facial with Christine at Once Upon A Spa and I have to say, it was fantastic. The spa is easy to get to in down town Redmond. It’s located inside the Sola Salons. There is plenty of free parking inside the building’s parking lot. Christine was fantastic, giving me a warm welcome, asking me some general questions about my skin and hygiene.
After all that was taken care of she explained the process of the facial and then once she began the facial, I completely lost track of time. When everything was done, I was shocked to discover that I had only been there for 45 minutes. It felt like an hour and a half had gone by. Christine was great, really solid skills, super nice, very friendly. She did a great job making me feel welcome and comfortable.
Ladies this is a great gift for your guy. Guys, I know its not top of the list for manly endeavors but if you want to keep your face looking its best and feel good doing, this is a must try experience! I loved it.

I have never considered myself in need of a manicure, but my wife was getting her nails done so I decided to join in because it was super late and Christine could fit me in. I’m not going to lie, I honestly had no idea what I was getting into.
Christine was a very professional vernisseur, telling a completely ignorant person all about nail health. I learned about cuticles! What dude learns about cuticles? This guy!
And I had a great time!
I did not get polish put on my nails, thank you very much. But she did buff them a little and my nails were pretty shiny!
Overall, I had my nails looked great, my wife’s nails looked great, and I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to have a good time while getting their nails done!

I usually go to InSpa because of their late hours but I was doing a search to find a spa for a friend and liked the name, Once Upon a Spa. I loved the service even more!
First, I work at Microsoft in Redmond so it was really great to have a spa closer to me. Second, the location is right across from the Hyatt House so easy to find and it feels private. The parking is free too.
I did a manicure, pedicure, and facial with Christine, a Master Esthetician. Her manicure and pedicure were terrific. She has a really soft touch and was particularly good at laying on the color for my manicure pedicure. I also tend to notice little things too like the lotion she used was a nice Mango Shea Butter and not the cheap pink lotion that is used at a lot of nail salons. She also gave me the nail file to keep which is the right thing to do for sanitary purposes.
I did a vitamin C facial which felt very good. My skin felt very soft the next morning, and tighter without feeling dry.
The only thing that stood out for me as a consideration is the room size. She rents a small studio out of a bigger building but it wasn’t too big a deal with me. If you’re claustrophobic though it might feel a little small.
I will definitely be back!
