Below is a brief bio:

Dr. Crinzi has been a practicing Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon in Redmond since 1981. He is a graduate of Renton HS and the University of Washington Dental School in 1972. He completed a Rotating Dental Internship; Oral & Maxillofacial Residency and received a Masters in Pathology from the University of Chicago. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is a Fellow in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Crinzi is an Affiliate instructor at the University of Washington Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has received the U/​W Department of OMS Faculty Award.

I had a tooth extraction at the office in Kirkland, everything went great from checking in the front desk to the actual wisdom tooth extraction. Great staff and amazing service, I would recommend this clinic to others for a tooth extraction.

Dr. Crinzi is amazing. I wish I could give 6 stars. I had a double tooth extraction with infection this morning. It was an emergency and I felt bad about taking his time but he was extremely kind and was able to fit me into his extremely busy schedule. By the way, his staff is wonderful and I appreciated the receptionist helping me with my insurance snafu. I had this proceedure at 8:30 this morning, it took 30-​ish minutes — mostly painless considering my pain medication didn’t take due to deep veins (he even sprays numbing spray before an iv!) — and is now 6:00 PM and I’m not feeling a thing for pain/haven’t had to take anything but otc medicine. If I didn’t see them in person, I would question if he actually removed them. He’s a dental genius, no joke. I’ll update if anything changes in pain tomorrow but so far — amazing!

Dr. Crinzi was wonderful in extracting all 4 of my wisdom teeth very smoothly. I was back to work on 3rd day. He also gave 2 free follow up appointments to see the healing progress. Can’t recommend him highly enough !

Dr. Fettig really knows his stuff! He suspected that the weirdness on my gums was caused by the statin I am taking but I agreed that it is best to get a biopsy to be sure. And sure enough, the pathologist confirmed his assumption. Such a pleasure to work with Dr. Fettig and his very competent and congenial office staff. I highly recommend this team for oral surgery!

Dr. Crinzi is amazing and I would highly recommend him to anybody and everybody. I just had my wisdom teeth pulled out last week and I was a bit nervous about having the surgery, but there was no need to be. The staff and Dr. Crinzi did a wonderful job working on my teeth and comfort. I believe that I had a very easy surgery. I had heard the horror stories that others had gone through, but I didn’t experience anything like that. I was back at work the next day (half-​day), I worked out like normal, and I was barely in pain at all. Once the swelling went down, I felt a little discomfort with the stitches coming lose, but it wasn’t bad. It was a much easier process than I could ever imagine. Dr. Crinzi is the best of the best and if you have the chance to have him work on your teeth, I think you should take it.

I recently moved to the Redmond area and asked my dentist to recommend me a location to get my wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Crinzi was completely comforting in all of my questions and making me feel at ease through the process. The office was very peaceful and they walked me through everything with wonderful communication! The day of my surgery was easy and quick. I was nervous going in because I moved here without my family but they made everything very simple. Dr. Crinzi called me every evening after my surgery for two or three nights and made sure I was doing okay and that I didn’t have any questions (which I did because it’s hard to remember all the information!) I healed amazingly fast and had swelling for only about 24 hours. Everyone at my school asked me what my doctor did because I was at school on Friday after getting surgery on Wednesday. I’d highly recommend Dr. Crinzi if you are anywhere near the Redmond area!

I originally had 5 stars. But I just called Dr. Crinzi’s office and asked for a referral to a general dentist for our family. I got the standard «we won’t commit to saying one dentist is better than another because it could hurt our referral business» crap. Obviously they didn’t say that exactly, but that was the message received. I found him from one horrible dental office who has an unbelievably rude office manager (Dr Nomi in Kirkland) and of course he was first on their list of 15+ names they spouted off on the phone. I will always choose Crinzi for oral surgery, but not impressed that they won’t go out on a limb and stand behind some favorite choices. I am sure that Dr. Crinzi does not spread his own dental needs around to 15 dentists, so there has to be one or two that he personally chooses.
He and his team are great at earning the trust of their patients, but then let us down when we need help finding someone to trust for general dentistry. In the sea of dentists in the area, patients need any help we can get finding someone to do something so personal and expensive. Would anyone chose a surgeon from the phone book? What if your medical doctor said, you need surgery, here is a list of 15 – 20 surgeons that will do it. Good luck finding the one that is good at their job.
I get not wanting to upset other colleges, but if they don’t like what other respected members of their field are saying (or not saying) then they should be motivated to improve or find another line of work. If they all protect each other just because the are fellow dentist, then how do we trust any of them?

I don’t think there’s a better doctor in the area for getting my wisdom teeth out. I had some complications and my surgery was not an easy surgery – it wouldn’t have been for any doctor. After visiting several surgeons who had insisted on using only laughing gas to pull mine out and not knock mine out I was relieved to find that they do knock you out here. I would have needed it. It would have been horrific if I was conscious for what happened to my mouth.
They were fantastic about followup and I had several no-​charge follow-​up appointments through my recovery.
My one complaint was that even after changing me from the first pain medication to Oxycodone they wouldn’t up my dosage. They wanted me to wait it out and see if the pain meds worked. They did not and I was in obscene amounts of pain even with the oxy. I wanted to up the dosage or something but they wouldn’t have it. I can understand being hesitant to do that but I was literally bed ridden, it hurt to have thick milkshakes and I couldn’t do a thing for two weeks because my surgery had complications. It’s all fine now and I’d still recommend them. I just wish I’d been more adamant about upping the dosage, maybe they would have listened.

I extracted two wisdom teeth on left with Dr. Crinzi, there are plenty of nurses helping during the surgery… They are all quite friendly and helpful. The surgery went through quite smoothly and comfortable. I had one impacted tooth and thus had IV sedation. I was a ilttle scared at the beginning but i was just like a sleep. Even though I heard they talking, I felt no pain. The surgery was perfect and I had post-​surgery check afterwards for 4 days. I had the feeling they took care of me carefully. I had so far no problem with my teeth extraction, and I highly recommend Dr. Crinzi.

What an excellent, excellent oral surgeon! And his whole staff is wonderful, too.
My daughter’s orthodontist referred us to Dr. Crinzi for some semi-​complex oral surgery. From the initial consultation to the actual procedure to the follow up phone calls and care, the whole experience here was smooth, easy and stress-​free. There were no surprises or issues that arose, not with the actual operation or with billing or with prescription meds (called in to our pharmacy a week in advance), or with anything! He and his assistants were super-​gentle with my kid. She didn’t even flinch with the IV insertion (I was shocked beyond belief at this!), and he talked us through the post-​op details thoroughly. He gave her her extracted tooth in a plastic tooth locket on a necklace as a keepsake (how cute!), along with a coupon for free MacDonald’s milshake (nice touch!), and he called twice after the fact to see how she was doing. This, in addition to a post-​op appointment the following week.
Oh, forgot to mention: at the initial consultation, he not only went into detail about the whole procedure, but he cc’ed me into the e-​mail thread afterwards, when he e-​mailed my kid’s dentist and orthodontist, outlining the consult and the recommended operation, and he even attached all the 3-​D slides and x-​rays to me! I SO appreciated being in the loop with my kid’s dental specialists. I felt included and part of the team. Dr Crinzi included me in the e-​mail threads after the fact, too.
All in all, this whole experience was surprisingly positive. I will definately take both my kids here to get their wisdom teeth out, when they’re older.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out with Dr Crinzi. When I was trying to figure out who to go to, I asked everyone I know and he comes so highly recommended that it seemed like he’s the best oral surgeon in all the world!
When I first met him and shook his hands, I thought, «so that’s a surgeon’s hands.» The shake was uniquely strong and steady, but gentle. Everyone should find a surgeon and shake their hands! It’s awesome. (If you get a dead fish or a crusher, run away!!)
But seriously, he’s pretty good. Aside from my cheeks looking fat for a few days, I got Zero pain from the whole process. I didn’t even have to use the pain killers (I’m saving the Vicodin for a special occasion?). He calls that same night and daily for the next 3 days to answer any questions and scheduled weekly followups with me for the next 3 weeks to make sure it’s healing right.
