Charming Charlie – Redmond

Nothing is more satisfying to me than walking into a store that is COLOR COORDINATED. It makes finding specific accessories and styles soooo easy rather than having to rummage through a bunch of unorganized stuff.
Everything is reasonably priced. I bought my last three purses here and the most I spent was $ 30 on each. I think the quality is a tad better than Forever 21, but not by much.
This place is usually a hit or miss. Some things I find a little tacky, others are crazy cute. They have some clothing items here, not much variety but they are more of an accessories store than anything else.
Easily my favorite store inside Redmond Town Center.

I’m in the store right now, and my expirence is pretty good. The staff said Hello but nothing else. When my friend fell the lady just looked over. So… Ok I guess?

Inexpensive accessories. A dressing room wouldn’t hurt, since they’re starting to carry dresses. The employees on the floor don’t give you much customer service so if you need help you’ll have to ask for it, but the girls at the registers are very nice. Everything is nicely organized and by color.

Love that the store is laid out by color, it makes it easy to find accessories to match your outfit. If you are looking for high quality this is not the place to go but being a college student I like that all of the pieces are well priced and look like they are more expensive. Lots of trendy necklaces. I have small wrists and fingers so it is hard to find rings and bracelets that fit without being adjustable, often I find cute rings here but they just dont fit

My freakin candy store. I love how everything is assorted by color. You will need to set aside at least an hour and a half to peruse through everything. It’s 75% jewelry, 10% clothing, and 15% other accessories like purses and sunnies. This is a great store to find the perfect accessory for any outfit; however, the quality is Forever 21 status. I had a gold necklace turn green within a couple weeks of wearing it. On the contrary, I’ve also had a big necklace stay in good shape for 6 months now. I absolutely love their sandblasted collection. Everything is pretty cheap, so I’m aware I’m not buying Nordstrom quality.
I got a shirt here and everyone compliments me on it. The quality is surprisingly not bad! Very comfy and doesn’t wear out over time. Unfortunately, there’s not much selection in clothing in the store. I definitely need to check out their website.

I love the way this store is set up by color, really helps to focus in on what you are looking for so you don’t get too distracted by all the pretty ;)
I was brought here by one of my bridesmaids to find some earrings for my wedding for myself and my ladies. I found the perfect earrings for everyone and was very excited for us all to wear them on the big day!
Sadly, when I went to put in my earrings the pair of pearl looking studs I bought both broke before they even made it in my ears and I discovered the beautiful sparkly chandelier set I had in had also both fell apart at some point throughout the night. While I feel the jewelry here is beautiful I would not recommend it for a day you expect things to be perfect.
My friend describes this place as the Claires for adults and while I agree, it does sadly stand up to the quality you expected from Claires too. –at least in this experience for me

over busy. great store. great prices. but so busy. so over whelming.

Holy overwhelming! Where do I even start. This place is awesome but insane. Every part of it has something to look at. You could really spend hours in here looking at it all.
They group stuff by color here which makes it a little easier, but there is still a million items in that color. Bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings, scarfs, clothes, shoes, nail polish. It is a girlie girls dream.
Great deals, but don’t expect the stuff to last long, it is the forever 21 of accessories.

I was drawn in by all the sparkles and the sale signs. Walked in and bam! found something I needed. After that though, it was a little chaotic for me but they have lots of cool stuff. Almost overwhelming. Jewelry, purses, scarves, clothes, shoes, sunglasses, mostly organized by color.
The employees seemed nice enough but the other shoppers were on the rude side, leaving their potential purchases and drinks on the counter while the went… who knows… and others who invaded my bubble of personal space instead of walking around the display.
Overall, it’s like to grown up version of Claire’s. Good times.

I love Charming Charlie. I’ve been to several locations in different states. You know what I don’t love? Waiting almost 30 minutes to try on the clothes I might want to buy because they only have ONE dressing room. Seriously?! I can’t believe that when laying out the plans for this building not one person thought, «Hey, maybe one dressing room is not a good idea for a women’s clothing store.» So yeah, love the company, but this location gets 1 star. Sorry Charlie.

I first discovered Charming Charlie in Boulder, Colorado and was like whhhhyyyyyyyyy do we not have this in Seattle??? When I found out about the Redmond store I was happier than a nerd at comic con. It’s kind of like Claire’s for adults, but only not fully. Everything is color coordinated and cheap, but surprisingly decent quality. I got a new beautiful purse for $ 30, plus some $ 8 accessories. I always have so much fun in this store. It is absolutely worth the trip over the bridge. Gah, I want to go right now!

I have wanted to go into this store a few times but was with «my man» and there was no way in hell he was going to step into that store. This time I sent him to REI and went in. OH MAN. This place has darling clothes and accessories. It is definitely Forever 21 quality but the tops and dresses they have in there are not the trendy «young 20s» style, it is more sophisticated with nice tops and blouses.
The one down fall if you come in here on a weekend is that 1) it is busy and 2) they only have ONE dressing room… I had literally and ARM full of stuff and I powered through everything as fast as I could so I wouldn’t hold up the line too much. That is just ludicrous to me.
Other than that cute store.

I absolutely LOVE this store. I go through different styles so often that this store is perfect. Better quality items then Forever 21, but prices are outrageous! This is my new obsession and will be my go to place for all jewelry. Don’t miss out, this store is a must!!!

Imagine a large store filled with H&M/Forever 21-​ish costume jewelry.
This is that store.
Don’t get me wrong, there are tons of folks who love this stuff (hence the expansion and growth). Even my teen loves this store. It’s super-​girly (even has a magenta front door you could see from Mars!), with lucite chandeliers and tons of mirrors. Known for «color-​blocking», the many islands of merchandise display color-​themed pieces. I’d say 75% of the store is comprised of jewelry, 15% purses, 5% clothing and 5% other accessories (like scarves and socks and stuff).
The store is clean and cute and well-​laid out. And the staff are friendly and non-​hovering.
I’m just not a big fan of this merchandise. I tried on rings and they felt flimsy. The necklaces all look obviously fake to me, and many are gaudy (as I say «Miami old woman-​y». If you can picture it, it’s apt). I inspected a lot of the necklaces and they don’t appear well-​made to me, with links that look like they could fall apart, and some of the glued-​on «stones» look like they too won’t last long. If these were all inexpensive pieces, I’d say, sure, why not?! But they’re NOT cheap. (A reviewer for the Puyallup store said it was like a «Claire’s for adults». That, too, is apt).
I did like the scarves a lot. And the clothes are trendy and cute. But this kind of store just isn’t for me.
