Bruner Orthodontics

My experience here was amazing! All of the orthodontists were kind, welcoming and supportive. They all took the time to learn my name and ask me about what has been going on with me lately or what I was doing that day. My experience definitely wouldn’t have been as wonderful if it wasn’t for everyone making sure I got a good smile. Very thankful for all of you, thank you for being so kind and welcoming! Remembering my name, being interested in me and Dr. Bruner always saying goodbye were the little things that made my experience with braces a lot easier because of all the support. Thank you so much!

No office work on Friday, frequent long office closures, and no lunch time is available. Pack of patients and tight scheduling. Many works are only available before 11am that is «really» inconvenient for any school aged kids.

Best Orthodontics experience one could ask for! The staff is so personable and friendly. The doctors are amazing. I have two kids with Dr. Bruner currently and they love the experience and have beautiful teeth to enjoy for a lifetime.

I went to Bruner Ortho after my son’s new dentist recommended a check-​up. I walked in somewhat skeptical because my son is only 7 and his teeth look pretty straight to me. I really did not want to listen to a sales pitch.
The first 2 people I came in contact with were so overly nice that it only make me even more skeptical. But the truth is, this is not a gimmick, they are not nice just ‘for show’. These people really care about their patients and have thought of every single possible detail to make their practice the best it can be. The place is very nice, with lots of parking, modern and clean offices with tons of amenities for kids and parents, and plain nice staff. I had my other kid with me and while I was speaking to the Doctor, his assistant brought some books and toys to occupy her. I’m telling you, they are on it! So great to see what real customer service is!
Dr. Bruner was incredibly good with my kid, explained everything to him in a way he could understand and then to me. Some doctors talk only to the parents and forget who the real patient is. Dr. Bruner was really open and charismatic. My son does not need any treatment at this time but if he ever does, I will not look at any other place. «He even said this was his favorite doctor’s office ever!» Very highly recommended!

My son started treatment at Dr Bruner’s office a couple of months ago. So far we’ve had a great experience. Staff are friendly and helpful. Dr. Bruner seems thorough and capable and overall very approachable. They try to do a lot of fun things for the kids. I like the fact they play Christian music in the waiting room. One big plus for me is that the receptionist always greets my son by name. That rarely happens in any medical facility and it always makes a good impression on me.

I actually found out about Bruner Orthodontics when I was looking for an orthodontist for my sister to get braces. I actually looked on Unilocal,and I liked the reviews that I saw, so I thought I’d give them a try! The other reviews were spot on!
Regarding the office, it was nice and clean without being pretentious. They have water and coffee in the waiting area. There is adequate parking outside. The treating area is an open space with 4 or 5 (can’t remember) chairs lined up. That was a little surprising, but I think that’s how most orthodontic offices are like. They also have a separate chair in the back as well.
Regarding the staff, everything there was really friendly. Dr. Bruner and Dr. Halgen are super nice. They’re professional while still being very approachable. They have excellent chair side manner, which is more important than you would think! You want to be able to actually talk to your doctor about what your concerns are. He’s board certified, and you can tell by the information he gives you that he’s very knowledgeable in his field. What I really liked – he doesn’t push treatment. He tells you the options, tells you what will realistically achieve your goals (and the limitations of the treatments), and goes from there. At no point did he ever pressure us into choosing one option.
The office environment has a professional but fun vibe to it. I saw on the wall that they had a T-​shirt contest going on, and a «good patient» contest for March Madness. If I had a kid who needed braces, I would definitely take him/​her to see Dr. B/​H. Fun environment, friendly people, and fun contests to motivate patients!
I liked it so much, I came back as a patient myself! Great job, Dr. Bruner and Dr. Halgen!

I spent a little over 2 years with the wonderful staff at Bruner Orthodontics. I had no idea that getting braces as an adult could be such a pleasant experience! Having needed braces since a child, it made my situation a bit trickier. I had consulted with 2 other orthos and both told me I would need 1 – 2 jaw surgeries to get anywhere near a decent bite and smile. From the get-​go Dr. Bruner let me know that I had other options. We ended up treating without surgery and I’m really happy with my results. In a nutshell, these folks run a tight ship. I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. ALL of the front desk staff and assistants knew my name and all about me immediately. They do their very best to make sure you are comfortable, informed and happy. This office sees a lot of patients, but they are so professional and organized it feels like you are getting all of the time and attention that you need. I truly could go on about the wonderful, caring staff, but I’m sure all you have to do is read the other Unilocal reviews to see how great this place is.

Dr. Bruner is wonderful. Our family dentist recommended him when my daughter needed braces, and we’re ever so happy that he did. I was so impressed that eventually I opted to come to him for Invisalign! We’ve had beautiful results. As others have said — very professional, and genuinely cares for his patients. I highly recommend him!

My daughter was having issues with her braces, and Dr. Bruner was out on vacation. His cell phone was listed on the answering machine, so I called the number, and he called me back, and met with us during his off hours. My daughter left the office with the issue addressed.
Dr. Bruner is extremely dedicated, and really cares about his patients.

Both of my teenage sons see Dr. Bruner for their braces. We have found all aspects of this office to be outstanding. We have had many scheduling challenges and the girls behind the desk have always been extremely helpful in finding appts that work for us. Dr. Bruner is great with his patients and seems to take a personal interest in each and every patient. The girls that assist him are so sweet and I have never had to wait for an appt as they have been on time every time we have come. I am so happy we chose a Bruner Orthodontics because I don’t think you could find a better orthodonist and staff!

I went to Dr. Bruner’s office today for a free consultation based on my dentist’s recommendation. I was immediately impressed with the welcoming and professional reception of the front office staff. Due to moving around quite a bit, I have had the opportunity to visit many medical and dental offices, so it takes a lot to impress me.
Monica, his assistant, collected photos, x-​rays, and background information and made the whole process very smooth, quick, and painless. She was friendly, but also very thorough, and when the doctor came in for the consultation, all the information was ready to be reviewed. This was all part of the basic new patient evaluation.
Dr. Bruner is very friendly and professional, and took time to study the information and give me several options. He did not try to push orthodontic treatment, but patiently gave me some possibilities to consider. I also appreciate that he did not rush through the visit. He obviously has a very good way of relating to patients, and has set the right tone, which shows up in the high quality of his staff. In addition Dr. Bruner is a board certified orthodontist (which is a very good thing). I’d highly recommend him for either adult or pediatric orthodontic work.

As an adult getting metal braces I was a little concerned about the length of the process and the pain. I had a lot of questions and wanted to know my options, Dr. Bruner and his staff were excellent at providing me with all the appropriate information and walked me through the process. Dr Bruner and his staff are all super friendly and easy to talk to. Dr Bruner was very transparent on how the process would work and helped me understand how long the procedure would take. The outcome exceeded my expectations. My teeth came out aligned and looking great. THANK YOU Dr Bruner and staff for all your help. –Long

Dr. Bruner has been a great place to take out children for their braces. His staff are professional and wonderful to work with. Dr. Bruner is very knowledgeable. We can’t say enough wonderful things about everyone at Dr. Bruner’s. The only downside would be that he is very popular so if you have difficulty with scheduling, you will want to consider this office because they have very tight hours which can be challenging.

Finished my adult braces today, hooray! Love the results and the attention to detail of Dr. Bruner and his team. They make sure to follow through on treatment and listen to my questions throughout. Also love the text/​email appointment reminders and no suprises on what my next appointment would be or the length of time (some are 15 minutes, some an hour, but I always knew what to expect). They go the extra mile to stay on top of my braces process.

Dr. Bruner and his staff are excellent. They are caring, take the time to make everything perfect, and i’ve never waited more than a few minutes in the waiting room, which is rare at a Dr’s office. I highly recommend Dr. Bruner!

My son just got his braces off today after 18 months and 6 days. The experience was pleasant from his end, as well as mine. They were prompt, quick, friendly, and took an interest in him. I would recommend Bruner Orthodontics to anyone, young and old!
