ABM Window Cleaning

I’m going to keep this as brief as possible, not make any personality references and just stick to describing my experience. So sorry to do this but I really did try to resolve this, because now I have this big mess to clean up.
The tech arrived on time and proceeded to clean my windows inside and out, 32 foot retracting awning and two drop down shades. These were pre-​inspected earlier at the time of my estimate by the same tech who arrived to do the work. I went over everything again, and before he started, I asked please do not leave anything for me to do.
He came inside and took off his shoes. He did not put down anything on the floors or light carpeting to catch drips, so I followed around putting down little throw rugs, which he proceeded to work around. There was a puddle left in the laundry room (no — it was not from my washer,) drips on the floors and drips on my computer screen. I moved everything away that I could to clear a path to the windows. Everything he moved away from the windows and on the patio, he did not put back where it was. Sills and outside frames were not cleaned, and the awning arms and screen enclosures were not wiped. All of the mess that was left on our 50 foot patio when the water cascaded down from the awning, was cleaned up by ME! The dirt and drips on the awning arms and drop downs were not wiped clean.
Three window screens were taken away to be redone — I had to wait two weeks for them. They were returned to me puckered and uneven. One screen frame was bent when replaced.
By the way every screen was removed by the tech from the outside forced with a pocket knife blade against white powder coated frames.
The tech was wearing very thick black soled shoes that left big black marks on my air conditioner when he stepped on it to reach a window, and also all over my patio — at first I couldn’t figure out where these tire tread marks came from — that’s what they looked like.
When another tech returned my screens I showed him why I wasn’t satisfied with this job. He called the owner who said he would call me that evening. No one called for three days so I sent an email. The owner Mark called, and after berating me and some discussion said he would refund my money right away. After about a week I didn’t receive it, so I sent another email. He called and said he would rather come out and fix everything. We went back and forth because he would promise me one thing and then backtrack and want to do something else — I finally said O.K. but very much against my better judgment. I felt a bit coerced and he was wearing me down.
The morning he came to do that, he came into my house — wearing black soled shoes! I was holding one of my little dogs, and as he came in he let the other little one get out and closed the door leaving the dog outside.
I told him I’m not liking that he let the dog out and left him there, and that he was wearing his black soled shoes in the house, which he did not offer to remove or put on shoe covers as I suggested. I told him I cannot have any more work to do and asked him to just leave.
The job done at my home was very unprofessional. I only contacted them because I needed the awning and drop down screens professionally done. My regular window washer does not do them. Every other time I have had windows cleaned they do the sills and frames and put something down to catch drips. Everything is left nice and clean and put back where it was. It is going to cost me more to get someone here to scrub off all the black marks. My air conditioner unit probably will need repainting. I cannot remove those marks. I just really wanted my money back like he promised me in the first place.

AMAZING SERVICE! Called Mark on Wednesday to find out if there was any appointments available for the remaining week to clean 21 windows in our 2 story home. Had appointment for the next day at 11:30 AM took it. Got a text message at 10:50 AM saying they were on their way arrived early. We had Jacob as our service tech and what an AWESOME SERVICE! Very professional, clean uniform, respectful took shoes off every time he would enter our home our 2 year old son is highly alergic to everything. Our son followed Jacob through out the house and he was very patient! Jacob was at our home for 4 hours and did an EXCELLENT JOB! Very Very thorough no spots on any of the windows! Very reasonably priced! Will be using them again! Call Mark if you are looking for quality and Exceptional service!

Gave this company two stars because the owner was very communicative and responded quickly to my questions. The man that came to the house was twenty minutes late without any apology or acknowledgment of it. Once I opened the door he didn’t explain anything or even introduce himself. This company had zero professionalism, very disappointed.

Wow! It’s amazing what some soap, water and elbow grease does! My windows are sparkling clean now! The crew was professional and friendly. I’ll be using them again next year! Thank you!

Wonderful service! I was searching for window cleaning deals on Amazon and when I found their coupon I decided to look into their ratings on Unilocal.Based on all the positive reviews I decided to go with them. Mark was prompt in answering my request and set an appointment for the same week. They came on time and started working right away. I was having some tile work done around the house and they were quick to get the job done inside the house first. Not only did they leave my windows, tracks, and screens sparkly clean, for a relatively small fee they changed out my ripped and nasty window screens for me. What really impressed me was that when cleaning out the rain gutters, Mark noticed that the gutters were hanging really low away from the roof and offered to hammer them back in for me… this was far and beyond what I had expected from his business. I’m definitely calling them again in the future!

They did a great job, were on time and had experience with original windows on older houses. Would highly recommend them!

Based on the other stellar Unilocal reviews, I contacted ABM. The service was great. My initial online inquiry was answered promptly, both by email (at night) and by phone the next day. The next day, Mark came out to give me an estimate. I originally planned to get only my windows washed but decided to get the entire exterior of the house washed.
The company happened to have an opening the very next day, and the work was done this morning. They did a fantastic job. The windows are gorgeous — not a spot or speck. As for the exterior washing, all the dirt, dust, cobwebs, wasp nests, etc. that have been accumulating for some time are gone and the house looks wonderful.
We have a 2 story house and it was a lot of work — about 4 hours. As far as I was concerned, the price was more than reasonable.
So count me in the 5-​star category. Thanks, ABM!

I really disliked how he represented himself. The only great thing that I liked about ABM is that he arrived to my business extremely quick. Dont be fooled about the discount… He tells you that he still charges the full amount and doesnt honor the discount.

Adam and Daniel made our windows look brand new in a very short amount of time. They are respectful, courteous and punctual. ABM uses a very small amount of water and no chemicals to clean the outside of the windows. The special brush works like magic, leaving no water spots. They clean each inside pane by hand. Every screen and sill is immaculate. I will never go back to doing our windows myself. This is Cadillac service at a Ford price.

Just had our windows cleaned today and they came out super! I found ABM through Amazon Local. It was a little extra for screens and track cleaning but definitely worth it. We also have solar panels and they offered us a deal we couldn’t refuse and had them clean the panels as well. The guys that came out were both super friendly, and were done in under an hour. We’re hooked and will be having ABM out every 6 months to keep it up.

Highly recommend this company! On time and did the best job ever! Definitely will use them again.
Update: Used this company again for my home windows. Excellent, professional service and friendly technicians. My windows and screens are sparkling clean!

On time did a great job!
Our community just went through the Etiwanda fire and our windows were covered with soot.
They made them look great… cleaned screens, cleaned window gutters… overall good job.
I would highly recommend.

Wow! I called Mark at 7pm on a Monday night and he answered on the second ring! He was able to clean my 13+ windows in a 2-​story plus my gutters the following day. He and his team showed up early — in uniforms — and got right to work. Very professional and careful around the interior and exterior of my house. Reasonably priced and all team members definitely took pride in their work. My windows look amazing! Will definitely be calling Mark again!

Mark did an excellent job cleaning my windows. He was on time and very efficient. Very professional and neat appearrance. He will be cleaning my windows on a regular basis so am happy to have him permanently come back to our house. He takes pride in his profession.

Mark has been cleaning the salon windows since i opened. We have a monthly standing appointment and he is always here without question or doubt. He is very polite and respectful, with not only me and the girls that work here but with the clients. There is a method to his madness, that I could never duplicate!
