John and Michelle did an amazing job as the listing broker on my home. I found them here on Unilocal.It’s amazing to me that there are barely any other brokers reviewed here but there’s a reason — these guys are fantastic.
I met with John first, he toured the house. I had a special house in that I had done a lot of improvements to it that were not valued as highly as other brokers I interviewed, including Lillian Montalto, who is regarded as one of the top brokers in the area. John’s presentation blew her away.
Not only did they estimate that it would go for more than other brokers, but their logic was sound and and their approach seemed innovative and unique. So I went with them. Michelle was great as she came in a month ahead of time and gave me a list of staging things to fix. They advised not putting the house on the market until it was perfect. They helped get the staging done, with a very professional and efficient local group of people to get the house in perfect order. The online listing information they did was very well done, and they put together a virtual tour that was great.
They do a great job of using technology to communicate with their listing system to manage appointments, and they know how to effectively communicate, call, text, etc. I would not assume this is the case for «old school» brokers…
They put the house on the market and after one open house I had verbal interest and had negotiated a price about a month later; closed a month after that in a flawless, albeit not trivial process. I’m a super busy CEO of a software company and they watched over every detail right up to closing and they were always available very quickly to deal with issues.
Honestly I can’t speak highly enough about this team. Can’t imagine a better real estate broker team. Don’t hesitate to use them. They are truly a team, and they rock.

The Ternullo Team (Michelle and John) were amazing in helping us through our first home buying experience. They were always available via phone, text and email to answer questions and help us out promptly– no matter the day of week or time of day. They walked us through every step of the process.
When our first signed deal fell through they worked overtime to negotiate and get it back on track– even though it would have been easier to walk away from the house, and even though it meant they had to put in many more hours talking to the sellers and very stressed out buyers (us :)). They consistently went above and beyond– at our closing even the seller’s real estate agent mentioned how great John and Michelle were to work with.
Unlike some other real estate agents I have met, John and Michelle are just nice, honest people who work hard for you, and are on your side! Buying a home is stressful, and it was amazing to have a team that we could trust and we knew were there for us.

We are so glad to have found John and Michelle Ternullo during our home search. I met John at one of his Open Houses and he made a great first impression with me. I got in contact with him that week and after looking at a few houses, we knew that the Ternullo Team was the right choice. Unlike some of our previous realtors, John and Michelle were quick to listen and understand our likes and dislikes. This really helped to reduce the stress that can come from house searching. Our journey to find our new home definitely touched on just about every area of expertise a realtor must have. From continuous searching, bidding wars, and a closing, they helped us through every step and gave us the feeling that they were always looking out for our best interest. Our situation was far from the norm as a tree fell on our new home a week before we were scheduled to close and a month before our new baby was due. There was extensive damage to the house which involved 5 months of rebuild and lots of meetings. They did a great job speaking on our behalf and/​or coordinating with the 3 parties involved in the rebuild. With the house technically not being ours yet, there were lots of discussions that had to go through multiple parties (buyers, sellers, contractors, lawyers, insurance) to come to rebuild agreements. John stepped in when needed and was always there to bounce ideas off of when we had decisions to make. We were very anxious to get the situation behind us with the new baby’s arrival and he was always up front and gave us realistic outlooks on what we were going to be dealing with. In the end almost a year had passed from the time we met John and Michelle to closing on our home. Having not known what we were in for with the new house search, I couldn’t have been happier that I went to that Open House where we met them. We will continue to use them in the future and will always refer them to any friends and family that are buying or selling.

We sold our house and bought a new home with John and Michelle last month. We felt they were, start-​to-​finish, EXCELLENT. They are clear communicators and extremely efficient. They were extremely ethical in a business that is, frankly, populated by a lot of people who tell you what you want to hear in order to gain you as a client. Michelle helped me stage our house, making suggestions that were easy updates/​fixes that truly improved the look of our home. The Ternullos were extremely quick to respond to our questions at all times of the day and happily took us around to a number of homes (and patiently waited as my «persnickety» husband examined each nook and cranny). They were extremely organized and kept us organized as well. EVERYTHING was in order, which made us feel very calm :) the overarching theme? The Ternullos were true professionals, start to finish. They sold our home in four days and guided us through making hard decisions about purchasing our new home. They helped us find people to paint and do floors in our new home and were a pleasure to work with in every facet of the buying and selling process. I would unequivocally recommend them to everyone. They are truly wonderful people and are FABULOUS agents!

We truly lucked out when we first contacted John through a link on a Trulia posting. John stuck by us, offering key advice and insight, as we bought our first home in Medford, MA this past June. John’s flexibility, his ability to meet me at work or near my house, and willingness to communicate via text made working with him so easy.

I found John and Michelle through Unilocal and I really can’t say enough about how great they are to work with. From our first meeting through the entire process they were incredibly professional, on top of every detail, and made my wife and I feel like they cared as much about the purchase of our home as we did. I thought their approach at the beginning of the process was excellent as they took the time to thoroughly learn about our wants and needs and then were able to discuss how that fit into the current market trends and area we were looking in. During the process of finding a home, their approach was great as they quickly notified us of properties coming onto the market that were in our criteria but never pressured us to look at something that was obviously not a fit. When the ideal home finally came on the market, their move to action and level of urgency mirrored what we were feeling which was fantastic. And during the closing process, they were always in touch and always available to us or anyone we were working with. I heard nothing but great things from our mortgage broker, who is a close family friend of ours.
I would say that working with John and Michelle felt like having a team of expert consultants working with us as opposed to a salesman or broker. They always did all the little things that let us feel good about the fact that they were on top of things for us. When making the biggest purchase of our life thus far, it was great to work with someone who wasn’t trying to «sell» us as house but really cared about helping us find and purchase the right house for our family.
All in all, I really can’t speak highly enough of working with John and Michelle. From our first meeting to us moving into our home, the Ternullo’s handled every detail of the process with us perfectly. If you’re reading Unilocal reviews looking for a realtor, read no further. You will not find anyone better.

I could not be more pleased with the help John and Michelle gave my husband and I in the purchase of our first home.
We found John through Unilocal (He not only works for an amazing real estate company… but he’s also a certified Realtor). Throughout the WHOLE process he always made sure that we understood what was going on.
He did a wonderful job at showing us different houses with the qualities we were looking for. He used our feedback to fine tune our search which led us to finding our house within about 2– 3 weeks after we started looking.
The paperwork part of the house buying ‘should’ have been stressful… but John and Michelle communicated so effectively that we sailed through the most difficult part of the process.
