Store OK, prices are average, but They had a discount themselves 5 days after I bought there. I’ve requested their price match, they did not honor that. I would not trust this store again at all. For that service I much rather go Sears or Best buy…

These type of salesmen are the reason I shop online. I can’t afford to drop thousands on a new tv, so I did my research and found the best one I could afford. I could have bought it online, but I decided to take a trip to the store to see my purchase in person. As soon as the«salesman» found out I wanted to buy one of the cheapest tvs they offer, he couldn’t be bothered: lazily pointing at tvs from his perch on his stool. I also noticed that the plasma Samsung that I decided upon was tuned way down so that it looked dull in comparison to other tvs. When I told him I was ready to buy, he tried to get me to spend double my budget on another tv. Telling me that my tv had to be in a dark room and that the contrast was terrible.(Why would pauls tv sell such poor tv?) I bought it anyway. To add insult to injury, my «salesman» told me they couldn’t use the coupon for«Black Friday Today», nor did my tv qualify for free delivery, then he tried to sell me an overpriced HDMI cable. Usually when I get electronics, I am excited and can’t wait to play with my new toy. When I left the store, I was angry, felt taken advantage of and almost dreaded receiving my new purchase for fear I had made the wrong decision. Now onto the only reason I didn’t give one star. When delivery time came, I got a call from the driver telling me when it would be there. They arrived on time, they removed my old, very heavy, tube tv. They set up the new tv and were gone in under 15 minutes. The gentlemen were courteous and friendly and a pleasure to work with. I went through the TV setup and Lo and behold, the TV wasn’t nearly as dark as the one in the store, the contrast between dark and light was beautiful. Thank God I listened to the reviewers on CNET instead of my slimy«salesman». I won’t be back to Pauls and I won’t even go back to Jordans because of this. I can only assume that all of their salesmen are this pushy and slimy.

We recently moved to Burlington, MA from Denver, CO. We were at Jordan’s Furniture looking for a bookshelf and decided to pop into Paul’s TV to look at a dishwasher. There we met one of the nicest, most sincere and kindest sales people we have ever encountered — Mike Shields. Paul’s TV recently started carrying appliances a week earlier and although Mike explained he was not an expert(yet), he got us taken are of with Samsung dishwasher. I like that he was honest that they were new to the appliances market and if he did not know the answer to our question, he got the answer. Mike made the sale simple and easy. Mike was so great on the dishwasher, that we decided to go ahead and buy a TV and sound bar from him as well. We had planned to wait a few weeks, but after meeting Mike we knew he was the guy to find the right TV. Mike Shields may be new to the dishwasher products, but the guy knows TVs better than anyone I have ever met. What I liked best was Mike did not try to sell us on the biggest and most expensive TV. He sold us on the TV that made sense for us and our TV viewing habits. He asked the right questions and got us into the right products. Paul’s TV’s did not a great job with the delivery and installation. Everything came as expected, they delivered and installed in a professional manner. Stellar service! It has been three weeks now and we love our TV, our sound bar and our dishwasher. If you are looking for appliances and especially a TV — Mike Shields at Paul’s TV is the guy.

Normally I stick to food on my reviews but I think a review of Pauls TV is in order as a cautionary tail … The shopping experience was good, good selection, good prices. But the reason why they get 2 stars is on service — they suck! Once a product leaves their lot they wash their hands of it. We bought a high-end electronics product and said item broke a few months in, so I called them looking for help. They put up their hands and literally said«look pal, we just sell ‘em, once its out the door its not our problem.» Really? Well, thanks alot King Paul! So it was onto a lovely journey of dealing with Manufacturer’s support hotlines and the like. When all the while Paul’s had no way or no interest in helping. I’d consider other options before dealing with these clowns.

Negative reviews? REALLY? SERIOUSLY? We bought a 55″ Samsung LEDTV on clearance, purchased it on Saturday mid-day and it was delivered on Sunday morning! The delivery staff was great, even helped us move the old one into the other room, couldn’t have been nicer, and prompter(and SUNDAY)… The sales staff is knowledgeable, but of course we’ve been buying audio/video gear from Chris for decades well before he was with Paul’s… We checked the prices next day, and would have paid significantly more at BestBuy for the same TV, where it too was on sale… We bought the extended warranty, always do with TVs, and will be back with a negative review if a negative experience, but I gotta say — why WOULDN’T you buy a TV from Paul’s?

The prices are great, the staff is superb. You get everything you hope for and more than you expect. I will continue to shop at Paul’s TV.
