Courtyard Reading Wyomissing

Nice hotel and rooms are super clean. Pool is really nice, but was filled with 12 screaming boys playing with beach balls and jumping in and out of the jacuzzi while the Moms were just sitting on the side in a daze. What about the other guests? It was total chaos and the hotel did nothing. This lasted until the pool closed. Hotel lobby was full of screaming, running kids when I got back from dinner at 10. Parents: put your kids to bed!!! Won’t come back here when I’m back in town.

Stood here because we had a baby shower at attend in Pennsylvania, this place had great reviews so we gave it a shot. It’s located in a okay neighborhood, not really the city, kind of a suburb. The VP outlets are in walking distance, but I would avoid going there, complete crap.
Check it was easy, very friendly guy in the front.
Room, and hallways look newly renovated, room was very big, a nice little living room space, desk, mini fridge, coffee maker. Fridge isn’t stocked, so bring your own beverages.
Bed was very comfortable, with white linens, which I like.
Television had great channels, wasn’t basic cable for sure.
Bathroom was a nice size, with a stand up shower, nice water pressure (it’s important) and plenty of hot water.
They do have breakfast in the lobby, we didn’t eat there considering we had a early morning of plans.
Rooms are nonsmoking.

Great business or just spending one night hotel, couldn’t see myself being in the neighborhood for more than two days. Not enough entertainment.

I get back to the Reading area and sometimes it is not convenient for me to stay with family so I opt for hotels in the Wyomissing area. On my latest visit, I did not want to stay near the mall so I checked out the reviews and prices for this hotel and a last minute deal got me a great rate here and once I arrived, I realized it was a bargain for what the hotel I found.
The lobby of this hotel is spacious. There are plenty of seating areas and a fireplace to keep things cozy. There is also a bar in the lobby and I definitely made use of it. They have your standard mixed drinks, wine and bottled beer. The bar is only open until 10pm however, they will occasionally stay open later if it is busy.
The room was comfortable with modern furnishings and lighting. The bathroom had a full shower with a high and wide shower head which was great for a tall person like myself.
The staff was exceptional here. This was definitely the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in the Reading area and will now become my go-​to hotel.

Really nice room but you gave my friends a key to an occupied room. They walked in on other people. You also have out wrong information about a wedding shuttle pick up time and I froze outside waiting.

I stayed here for 2 weeks on business. The bed was comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job everyday. Also there are many restaurants in the area and one right next door. They have a coin operated washing and drying machine and supply complementary soap and drying sheets at the front desk. Also you can request a microwave if you don’t already have one. Their glasses are plastic wrapped and sealed. The fire pits outside are beautiful. Also the bartenders are very friendly. Whatever it is you need just ask and if they can’t help you they will direct you in the right direction.
Almost forgot the pool is large and clean. Also, there is a jacuzzi! Talk about relaxing! Towels are provided. The pool, gym (I did not use), and laundry room are all together.

This is not the highest end luxury hotel. I have stayed in hotels that Sylvester Stallone was in at the same time… this hotel is not that. They have a small bistro, a small gym, and very nice rooms.
What set this place apart from the hundreds of places I’ve stayed at are three things:
1– the towels. I have Never felt softer towels. They aren’t super plush, but they are big and SOFT. And in a hotel that is a miracle.
2– the bed. Soft, warm, heavenly… with a choice of pillows. How you sleep in a hotel has a lot to do with your experience.. and I slept well.
3– the service. I put this last because honestly it should always be phenomenal. It is actually sad to me that noting friendly, smiling service is remarkable.. but let’s just say. the Marriott here passed the test.

Not a bad hotel, although everything — from the wifi to the elevators — seemed a tad bit slow here. I will say that it was very clean and the suites themselves were a decent size, but I was a little disappointed that the hotel restaurant/​bar closed early and that there was no ATM nearby. They did have a «marketplace» with a few refrigerated drinks and snacks for after-​hours, but we had to end up walking to another establishment for a meal. I would probably come back, though, if I needed a room in Reading.

The Courtyard in Wyomissing is well-​kept and clean. It offers great and quality amenities. The shampoo and conditioner is the best!
There is a bar in the lobby. It is in walking distance of West Reading and it is in a good location for entertainment.
I’ve attended an event there and the space is cozy. The ceilings are high so it provides some open air. The staff was very accommodating and patient.
The room was nice and the bed was comfortable! The sheets were fresh and not starchy.

Great place for an overnight stay. The front desk was extremely friendly, the whole place was clean and quiet, and the room was very comfortable. The only thing missing was the free breakfast served at most hotels. For the price, it would have been a nice perk.

Came here for business on a weekend. Brand new hotel. Everything was spotless. Service was great. Free coffee and paper in the morning. They offer breakfast on the weekends. Complimentary wi fi. And an indoor pool!
Room was a good size. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean.
Will return to.

We always put family up in a local hotel over the holidays. We had been using the Crowne Plaza, but this year, used the Courtyard Marriott Wyo since I could use my Marriott reward points. Wow, what an upgrade from the Crowne Plaza! First of all, the front desk staff was unbelievably helpful in making the reservation and ensuring that we were charged and our family didn’t see a bill. The room was modern, clean, and quiet… and it cost less than the Crowne which really surprised me. Our family was thrilled with this hotel and we’ll definitely be using it again.

This is the second time that I stayed here, so it is safe to say that I like the place. I am not just saying this due to the useable pool and ice machine (see my other reviews). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk got a cab to get me to where I needed to be (Royals hockey game, to watch a hockey game and drink beer). I can not forget to give a shout out to the bartender at the hotel bar. He was great. When I got back to hotel (after the making escape from downtown Reading), I headed to the bar. He was closing up, but he had no problem stoping and getting a round for my friends and I. By the time he was done serving the first round, I was able to get one more in.

Same day booking + Late check-​in and front desk was great. Hotel looks new and as a business traveler, it’s in the top 5 courtyard’s to stay. Great location with plenty of nearby shops and bars.

Clean. Accommodating staff. A Marriott hotel, what else need be said? Came for a wedding in the area and wasn’t disappointed. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff, clean and modern rooms. They have a very nice pool and hot tub, which has an optional Jacuzzi switch. You can’t hear any outside noise when you’re in the rooms. It is also located in a nice area. My only complaint is that our room view is an apartment building about 200 ft away. But then again I’m not here to stare out the window

Stay somewhere else. This overpriced hotel has a pleasant staff, but management is clueless.
The hotel is subject to power outages, sometimes for as long as 48 hours. You get glow sticks for light, but no heat, hot water, or electricity.
And they charge you full price for the experience.

I love that Reading has a new, clean place to stay when I visit. I’m a fan of the Marriott brand and this place will not dissappoint. The lobby/​bistro area is so inviting with plenty of comfortably seating areas and a fireplace. No need to sit alone in your room. I found there were a number of business men and women having mini meetings different areas and yet the acoustics are fine for making phone calls.
The staff is very accomodating and friendly. The pool and jacuzzi area are clean and well maintained. The room is large and clean. There is nothing I don’t like about my new home away from home when I come to visit Reading.

This is an upgraded Marriott… flat screen TV’s, great beds, and an entertaining lobby.
I am the poster child for Marriott. I stay in them every time I can when I travel. I’ve seen good ones and ones that are in need of being upgraded… but this one is perfect.
Friendly Service, a REAL bar, and little food place, and of course. the market… :)
The gym has TV’s on the bikes, which is nice, and the indoor pool and hot tub… ahhhhhhhhhhh …
One night coming home from my client office, they even had a fire going strong in the fire pit outside… I was actually drawn to it and enjoyed it for a few minutes.
Last point, they actually have it when you turn on the TV its not that normal annoying lady/​guy talking about watching movies form your room… it is a music station with a screen of colorful lines/​designs dancing to the music.
By far one of my favorites!
