nightmare! I was told 2 days to build a shed, 3 weeks later I had to get rid of Kevin for not completing the job. One of the most incompetent individuals I have ever come across. The only time he was on time is when I had a check for a deposit. We had to settle on an amount to close this out as he decided to sue me, threaten and addendum to my mortgage. Also found out that he called the town inspector on me even though he told me I didn’t need to pull a permit. Turns out I did. I missed out on a bunch of work as I had to be home every day to check on his progress and point out obvious blunders.(It was laid 5 feet crooked and missing vital support blocks to start off.) I wish I didn’t try to save $$$ and went with Reeds Ferry or Eastern Shed. ***Update. Had a real carpenter come over to finish the job. He told me the work done was a joke and he would salvage what he could. The front door had no header over it and it already had a serious sag from the weight of the roof. The front wall was pitched forward about a half inch in the span of six feet.(Side walls were not level either) One of the support beams has a severe sag, all I can do I add more footings so it doesn’t get worse. The cross beams supporting the roof we 2×4 when they should have been 2×6.(Everything was done with 2×4’s even the support beams under the shed.) I hope this is standing and still usable in a couple year or it will need to be torn down and I will be in the hole for 5 grand.
