Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

After experiencing a small dryer fire herself in 2010, Becky Morrison became vigilant about keeping her own dryer duct clean. She started talking with other homeowners and realized most people weren’t even aware of the danger that a clogged dryer vent could create.

While doing research on the subject, she uncovered staggering statistics — there were over 15,000 dryer fires every year. In fact, dryer fires were the #1 cause of all home fires nationwide.

She decided to take the only recognized course in the United States with CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) to earn her credentials as a Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician (C-​DET). After mastering diagnostic techniques and demonstrating a thorough understanding of codes set forth by the National Fire Prevention Association,

International Mechanical Code, and International Residential Code,

she now serves her community as a Fire Prevention Specialist, educating customers about dryer safety, inspection, cleaning, and repair.
