My Fiancé and I were considering a meat share, so we ventured out to Cordray Farms to gather some intel. Pulling up and seeing free range chickens scratching around the property and happy cattle grazing instantly let us know the type of farm we were working with.
The staff was super helpful when describing the options available, costs associated, and even what different cuts were and how the process worked. During our 30 minute conversation we moved into the mechanics of everything Cordray.
They have a ton of fresh, local vacuum sealed beef, fresh eggs, and ground sausage at prices were lower than I find at my farmer’s market.

If you are looking for the best breakfast then you really will have to make it yourself and use bacon from Cordray Farms. Once you do, is the only bacon you will have, is seriously phenomenal. As is all their meats; steaks, hamburger, roasts, etc.
All the meat is natural, organic and raised on their farm. Is only 15 minutes from our home in Summerville and about the same from West Ashley. Is where we buy all our beef and the Cordray’s are the nicest people you could meet. Is a gorgeous drive through the countryside as an added bonus.
