History
Established in 2011.
The Rapid City Downtown location was opened in September of 2011. Dr. Dawn Wattenhoffer had been in Rapid City since 1998, and wanted to start a private practice in the Black Hills.
Dr Pearson and Dr Scarborough joined Dr. Wattenhoffer in 2014, and then the larger merger talks began. Vision Source Specialists officially opened under new name October 1 2014.
Merging as a group, Vision Source Specialists are able to treat more eye disease, handle the upcoming changes happening in health care, and be able to provide compassionate care to all of our patients throughout the Black Hills.
