History

Established in 2004.

Dr. Porisch has been practicing in Rapid City since 2004. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri — St. Louis College of Optometry. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of South Dakota. Raised in Flandreau, he now makes his home in Rapid City with his wife, Lisa, and sons, Henry, Tobin, and Dalton.

He is a member of the American Optometric Association and South Dakota Optometric Society. He also participates on committees for the Northern Plains Eye Foundation’s Healthy Vision Week and Christmas Gift of Sight. In addition, he is the past president of the Black Hills Sportsmen’s Club.
