Business Owner

As the CEO of TRL Systems, Mark’s personal philosophy is to always do the right thing, even if it’s harder or costs more. His clients benefit from this philosophy as well as his nearly 200 employees. And, it’s with this simple approach that Mark has taken TRL Systems, a life safety, security and communications systems integrator, and built it from $ 2M to $ 26M and still growing. Mark didn’t start out as CEO of this family owned company. In 1983 he was working as a temporary electrician on a TRL job when his father, then CEO, invited Mark to join the company. In the ensuing years, Mark developed knowledge and expertise in every aspect of the business and had stints managing various departments including engineering, installation, service and sales before taking over as CEO in 1999. Mark is a visionary leader who embodies the customer centered spirit that keeps TRL Systems constantly evolving and continually improving.
