Dear fellow foodies, During my visit to ManilaVille in search of filipino cuisine, I found myself utterly shocked and dissatisfied with the way the«Owner» conducted her business. Here are a few problems 1.Taron(their version is more like a fried crêpe) will NOT be traditional and WILL be burnt. 2.Halo-Halo, no beans just a few jellies with ice and milk topped with 1 unripe macho banana slice, spoon of MANGO(not UBE) ice cream, and One string of Langka. 3. Pancit tray, over seasoned with salt/Patis, overwhelming scent of sesame oil, 3 chunks of chicken thigh found on bottom of noodles. The owner states that«that’s what pancit is, noodles and cabbage» ***there should be an update to their FALSE advertisement on their menu then. 4. Two Cantaloupe Sago, both with crud floating on the top, looked like food crusties! Out of all the mistakes and errors found the very last straw was the crêpe taron that came out LATE and BURNT. When we opened the container our faces were filled with disappointment and disgust. The«owner» got offended(she also seems to say rude things on Unilocal review too!) when we ask to return something that was BURNT, because supposedly«EVERYONE LOVEs BURNTTARON». She then insinuated that we weren’t Filipino and don’t know how the food we ordered should look like! Save yourself the disappointment and hassle, drive 5 min to MANILASUNSET and get your money’s worth of good traditional food with respectable and honest employees and owner who will never try to take advantage of a situation, just because you dont«look» Filipino. Hoping the business«owner» replies! I have a few photos of the disappointments up, I have lots more!

Got my Filipino food fix. Chicken inasal(grilled chicken) was delicious and so were the other bar-b-ques. The pancit noodle was tasty and our meal was capped with the halo-halo desert. Superb service with a smile!

My girrlfriend and I normally hangout at victoria gardens and whenever we crave for Filipino Food, the only place we go to is at Manilaville. Everything here is very Filipino. We actually love their Hotsilog, the garlic rice with it is so tasty, they also have some filipino drinks like Fanta and Royal… you will totally miss the Philippines :)

I don’t even know where to start with your reply to my review. I do appreciate the reply because now I can share it on social media. Maybe a more professional reply with a simple apology would have been in order. I have been on Unilocal since 2008 and have written over 60 reviews but I’m a «Troll» because I did not purchase from your establishment since«your» employees would not serve me?! Also, my comment simply stating the fact that your restaurant was the only one without a line in the food court is «snarky»? I really should have looked at your 3.5 star rating before trying to make a purchase only to be ignored by your«busy» staff. Your replies aren’t helping you win any new customers. Good luck with that.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now… I didn’t think Victoria Gardens would have Filipino food so I was curious. So glad I stopped by today! I tried their grilled boneless chicken inasal combo meal… Price was not bad… And the meal included rice, lumpia, and Pancit… So much food and everything was so goooooood!!! I also got their halo-halo… And that was yummy, as well! Service was superb! The lady was very nice. I told her it was my first time and she was very helpful in making suggestions. Overall, pretty good experience! My cravings for Filipino food has been satisfied! Will definitely come again! :)

I’m impressed. Very good for mall food. I got the bbq chicken with sour pork soup. It’s less than $ 10 with a drink! I don’t know what authentic fillipino did trays like. But this is pretty tasty. The guy is very friendly and patiently answered my questions. I would definitely come back again

While surveying the offerings in the food court an unfamiliar sign was present among the usual run-of-the-mill eats; it read Manilaville. Have to say, I was pretty surprised to see a Filipino food stall in this mall and even more pleasantly surprised that the food was actually pretty good. We looked over the menu but at first I was a bit skeptical because of some of the photos of food they had accompanying their menu. They had a silog line-up depicted with all the favorites but the itlog(egg) was scrambled. Sacrilege! Over-easy/medium egg for silog dishes so that the yolk can run into the rice. The rice also looked steamed instead of garlic fried but if they’re calling it ‘silog’ then it’s probably(I hope so) proper sinangag(garlic fried rice). Well for our introduction to Manilaville we opted to share a «Stick Eats!» Sampler plate which consisted of barbecue pork and chicken sticks, grilled hotdog on a stick, pancit bihon, two lumpia shanghai, rice and sauces(sweet&sour, soy sauce, and vinegar). The barbecue meats were marinated well, tender and juicy. My wife really enjoyed the grilled hotdog since she loved having those in the Philippines and here in the U.S., most hotdogs are served on a bun or as corn dogs. The lumpia were flavorful but average – at least they were still crispy. I was most worried about the pancit because usually, when purchased from a stall like this, the noodles can tend to be dry, but here it was fresh and pretty tasty. Overall, everything tasted good. Better than most turo-turo places Filipinos are accustomed to. It also looks like they may have a steam table up front for turo-turo(cafeteria) style dining but it was presently filled with supplies. Tip for the owners, if the steam table is no longer in use, don’t put supplies there, it doesn’t make for a very welcoming or appetizing display. I’d rate this place 3.5 stars but will click on 4 because I think they deserve a visit. We don’t often come to Victoria Gardens but next time we visit, this will be our quick bite stop.

my first time here this weekend and my first choice in the menu wasn’t available so I ordered a 2nd choice which was Tocilog and it’s available. I was surprised that the serving isn’t worth what I paid for. for that price I could’ve gotten twice more for what I paid for if I ate at a similar food place. it was like a baby meal for a little more than $ 10. I can only guess that dining in this food court is really for rich people. the food is okay

I eat there about once a week as i work in the area. The service is great and the food is amazingly delicious. The staff is very friendly and make great suggestions. The bbq pork skewers, garlic rice and tamarind soup is so authentic and tasty. The quality if the food is definitely worth the fair price. The cantaloup melon boba drink is also very good. I definitely recommend the café.

Cristina, thank you for responding. Just a clarification of facts here. We ordered a plate that had 1 stick of pork barbecue, half cup of rice, and half cup of meatless sinigang and this was ONLY consumed by 1 person. Not 3. Each one of us had a separate order. I assure you that the surveillance footage will back this up. I understand that you are undergoing a change of menu, this was graciously explained to me. In fact, I asked which part of the menu I could order from. And yet, my initial choice from that«available» part of the menu was not in stock. Let me take this chance to let you know that we also ordered a plate of longsilog but got a plate of tocilog instead. I do not have control on how you would take this feedback but at least I have the satisfaction in knowing you took the time in reading it.

Horrible and over priced. The wait was forever! Most Filipino restaurants have your food out in minutes this place took 30 mins. The adobo was so sweet there was barely a hint of soy sauce in the dish. The sinigang was tasteless and the bbq chicken bland. With the price they charge you would think they would offer bigger portions of lumpia, the lumpia was half the size of my pinky finger. Come on guys if your gonna charge that much at least make the lumpia portions bigger! I would not recommend this place to anyone and the people that voted it 5 stars are probably friends or relatives. If I could give a lower rating I would! Just horrible!!!

Decent food court place. They make to order but use frozen vegetables so it isn’t that great. Owners are very friendly and helpful.

This restaurant is owned by a very smart and very nice former schoolmate, Christina and she is very passionate about this business and wants to make sure the food and service are good and everyone has a good experience. Everytime I eat there I always have a good time as she is always pleasant and the food tastes great! I am sure this place will keep improving and she takes the feedback into consideration. Give it a chance, I know this is going to be big someday.

Great food and service. The gentleman who helped me took the time to explain the different choices we had. When we ordered it was made fresh. He after giving us the food began to explains the different sauce to us and the purpose of pairing he different sauces with the different types of meat. I strongly suggest you visit this place.

I’m not Filipino, but I know what Filipino food should taste like, and unfortunately this place does not qualify for good authentic Filipino food. What did I expect from a shopping mall food court? Their pork adobo was very bland, pork sinigang was way too sour, the only decent items were their lumpia, longanisa & pancit. It was expensive too, hey gotta pay to lease the space in beautiful Victoria Gardens right? I’d rather get a corn dog at Hot Dog on a Stick. Sorry, gotta pass on this one.

3.5 stars. I want to like this place, especially since it’s not every day that you find Filipino food at a mall food court. Overall, it’s about 3 stars, but I’m rounding up to 3.5 stars based on their chicken inasal, which is quite good. It should be their main attraction at Manillaville Café because it’s better than any chicken you can get at the nearby Panda Express, Tokyo Grill, or Great Khan. It’s fresh and made to order, so it takes longer, but you can taste the difference. Prices are high, as is typical of mall food and, unfortunately, I can’t recommend anything else. The pancit bihon, lumpia, and adobo were all merely okay. Service is on par with the rest of the food court. The manager(owner?) seems like a nice lady and I’d love to see her succeed. They should pare down their menu and focus on that chicken inasal. If people knew how good(and fresh) it was, maybe they’d forgo the Panda Express orange chicken or Great Khan frozen meats. One final note: they sell Philippine sodas(Royal and Sarsi). Royal is just like Sunkist, but Sarsi is a wonderful sarsaparilla drink that is refreshing and perfect on one of those hot Rancho Cucamonga days spent walking around Victoria Gardens.

Food was okay, nothing really stands out except for high price. I ordered toccino, egg, and rice there was 6 small pieces of toccino and rice and 2 eggs for $ 8??? Then, the lechon kawali had an adobo taste to it… I hope they don’t recycle oil from different dishes.

A newly opened Filipino fast food restaurant inside Victoria Gardens. Ordered chicken inasal, pansit bihon and lumpia rolls. Chicken inasal(4 pcs for $ 9.75): actually they are 8 pcs since they count leg and thigh together as 1 pc. The chicken is freshly cooked to order and not dry. I don’t really care for the flavor though. too salty. The dipping sauce(soy sauce?) for the chicken doesn’t help because the chicken is even saltier with that. I eat my chicken with its lumpia sweet dipping sauce(similar to Thai sweet sauce). Chicken inasal meal comes with 2 lumpia rolls and steamed rice. I like the lumpia rolls so I order a side order of pork lumpia. Lumpia rolls($ 2.75 for 5 pcs): not bad and better than some lumpia rolls I’ve tried. Pansit bihon($ 4.95): glass noodle sauteed with pork, chicken, shrimp and veggies. It’s also too salty :(It needs other seasoning other than salt and it smells weird. maybe fish sauce? They also have empanadas, halo halo, turon, maiz con corn flakes and other typical Filipino dishes. Friendly and fast service. Manilaville also does catering. 3.5 stars! Manilaville Café is kinda yummylicious!
