not sure how they messed up something simple as putting your lugs back on but they ended up jamming my lugs and I had to brake and replace 3 of the studs for one wheel after getting a tire from them. then I realized a while later they gave me two tires in the rear which are different widths… idiots… I should have paid more attention though since they don’t really have anyone competent to supervisors their employees

This is my first time writing a review on Unilocal but my experience here was so bad I am taking the time to write one now.
I called this place on a Tuesday afternoon and asked for a quote on a set of Falken tires. The price they quoted was the best that I had received so I asked him to place an order for the tires. I showed up at their shop the next morning only to find out that they had ordered the wrong tires. No problem, mistakes happen. They told me to come back in on Friday morning at 8am and they would have the new ones ready to go.
I show up at 8:15 on Friday and the shop isn’t open yet. At 8:30 someone finally shows up and starts to work on my car. One of their machines was broken so the guy told me he needed to wait for his coworker to arrive to complete the job. The coworker was scheduled to be in at 9:00. At 9:45 the second employee shows up and they finally complete the job on my tires.
I asked for a discount for not only showing up once and having the wrong tires there but also for showing up a second time and having to wait two hours for a job that should have taken 30 minutes. The owner offered a free alignment which I had no interest in so I decided to pay my bill and leave it at that.
As I go to get in my car I notice that the tires that they put on my car were not Falkens but Federals. I pointed this out to them to which they said that is what they ordered.
I have no idea how a shop can be run like this and treating customers this way.

Been going here several times over the years on and off because they have cheap tires when you’re in the need. Why the sudden urge to rate 1 star? This guy named Eddie. Just seems shady. He’s a bit older than the other guys and acts like he runs the place when he doesn’t. Tries to get out of doing work and then tries to make up his own inflated prices compared to everyone else. Pretty sure the extra is his own little bonus. The last straw this time was when he comes out with a tire and installs it, then decides to tell me its a different size than the other 3. Didn’t bother to tell me until it’s installed. Thanks but no thanks, trying the used tire shop down the street next time.
The other guys there have always been pleasant and helpful in the past, seem to genuinely care about customer service. But I’m not taking to the roulette wheel to see who I’ll get to help me.

Great place, fast, friendly, great deals. Late night with a flat tire and they were closing. They were kind enough to still help me out.

I called last minute for a tire from these guys and they delivered. They were fast, courteous, and the price was very competitive. I would recommend all my friends and family for any tire service they may need. Thank you for the stellar service.

Quick and easy. I needed a good set of tires, but on a budget. They worked with me and hooked me up with a great set.

Had a good experience with them originally with one of my cars so I gave them another shot with a bent rim I had in my Honda. Owner said come in the morning and he would have it the same day ready. Also mentioned he would call me at 12pm to let me know. I did my part and showed up in the morning, everything else never happened. I called a few times no answer then when he did at 4pm he did the old I wasn’t able to do it, it wasn’t my fault it was the rim guy. At least have the decency to call to tell me you couldn’t do it that day. Getting a ride and waiting all day on your day off ain’t cool. Never go back.

Went to swap 2 tires and put them on new wheels that I purchased from them. Took them almost 3hrs just to do that, not only they damage a stud. But yet they didn’t wnt to help out the next day and da guy was trying to be all smart on me. He didn’t wnt to return my lug lock key.

BAD SERVICE AFTER ALL

There prices to mount a tire 15″ or lower is 5 $ 16−19″ 6 – 9 $ 20−26″ 10 $ ive been going and sending people here for this reason but when i showed up eddie and some long haired guy tryed to scam me for 40 $ to mount two of my own tires i told them its been 10 $ each they were slow on business that day so they tryed scam me I DID NOT LET THEM i went down the street the next light over to tire center and they did it for 10 $ dont trust these people they pray on people who they think don’t know about tires and there prices

Fast, friendly and economical. I would recommend L & J Tire Service over the Used Tire Center which is south of L & J on Grove, where I was not acknowledged as a customer by the young man at the front desk. He was too busy talking on the phone. I left that place and went north on Grove and found L & J Tire Service. They were friendly, fast to patch my flat tire and very economical — only $ 10.00. I will highly recommend them to friends & family for tire needs.

Great deal on a used tire. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because I had to wait a very, very long time.

I work around here and one of my honda tires was pretty bald. I litteraly bearly made it here. The guy who originally helped me said he didnt have a used tire instock for my honda and i would have to buy a new one for 65 dollars. I didnt want to buy just one new tire so i asked them if they could just put the spare on and would consider returning for all new tires. They wanted to charge me 10 dollars just to put my spare on. Not cool. Usually they put the spare for free or for 5 bucks. Then another nice man came and said why dont you just buy a used tire. And went to the back And found a used tire. At this point i was taken aback. Did not like that type of dishonest tire service and put my spare and left.

I had a tire blow out on the weekend so I needed a replacement. I found this tire shop online & called them. They were open on sunday & gave me courteous & great service. I’d highly recommend them & I intend to go back in the future when I replace all my tires.

Been coming here for a while now. Great service, fair prices. The guys are always freindly and do not lolly gag around.

My husband got a «new used» car and the back tires were pretty much bald. He called around to various used tire places and they didn’t have a set of two of the same brand tires so ultimately he bought the tires online.
Anyway, my review is primarily for their service since we didn’t purchase tires from them.
On Saturday morning, my husband called ahead to inform them we were coming over. He said that it was no problem and to come on down. They are located on the southeast corner of Arrow Route and Grove Ave.
He charges us $ 10 to replace each tire and aligned them. They also filled the front tires with air.
The only negative was that my husband had to remind them to put the valve caps back on (which most tire shops forget to do.)
Overall, the price was decent and they were pretty fast.

Worst service ever don’t come here they sold me a defective tire n said it was my fault. For a tire to go flat from one trip from inland to long beach they are telling me that I am making up a story horrible service

This place is great. They know what they are doing, they have a signigicant amount of tires and they have great customer service.
On the way to work, noticed that tire was flat. got my doughnut on and went to work. of course any place i called closed by 5 or 6… right when i get out of work. Called these guys like five minutes before their postsed close time and told them I needed a used tire. Told me he’d wait for me… didn’t even ask how long I’d be ore where i was. I told him I was close any way and he said no problem. When i got there, they were friendly, they were quick, and the price was right! My only complaint… and this is negligible for some people: it’s not the cleanest spot.
Turned out I had been there once before and got quick service and great used tires for a great price.
