I had an okay experience here when I rented a Ford fusion for Vegas.
I went early about 2:30pm but my pick up time is not til 6pm on a Tuesday not know it will affect the price because it’s early pick up and also the time that you order the door and started a transaction for pick up cannot be reversed once it’s been run through. (I was clueless about that) so to avoid extra charge I had to return the car 2:30pm Friday not 6pm.
Then, not only that the time for return changed but also there weren’t any ford fusion available due to delay of returning the car. So they had to give me a different car that’s available. They offered me a minivan and camero for extra $ 10. I refused to upgrade if I had to pay so she upgraded me for free!
Another down side was the minivan was still dirty when we got it. We personally cleaned it and received a $ 10 off for renting a dirty minivan.

Awful experience. Car did not work properly (blue lights were on throughout my 2 days) the usb did not work (bad for somebody who uses the car for work) and the service is the worst of any rental car I’ve experienced. Beware — will not give you a ride if it’s more than 3 miles (not disclosed prior to renting). Do not use this company

my car had been dropped off for repairs after i got off work; as i waited for my ride home, i called enterprise and hertz in rancho, and although they had rentals for $ 32, it was near their 6pm closing time. the airport agencies were charging more than 2x’s this amount, so when my ride picked me up, i was horribly discouraged, trying to think of my options for getting kiddo to school, and myself to work. we passed the avis on foothill, and since i had not called them, we whipped the car around. even though his official closing time was 6 and it was a quarter past, he let me in. i got a chevy (equinox, maybe, not sure) for $ 51 a day. the car looked and smelled brand new. i dont know how the price compares, but the attendant (jack?) was cheerful and very accommodating. he made my day by being open and not shooing me away!

Booked for a two week rental. Note that this is an independent owned Avis and the service and cleanliness of the car is different than the standard Avis I’m accustomed to

Car was available when I picked it up at 5pm. My coworker said many times they were sold out even though he reserved one and had to drive to the Ontario airport for a replacement.
Exterior of the car was clean but it was night so i couldn’t see the interior and the next morning the interior was rather filthy. The dashboard was quite dusty and it bothered me so much that I had to clean the dashboard and the rear window (inside) had never been cleaned. It appears the owner just takes the car for a quick exterior wash.
Upon returning the car back everything went smoothly except the owner said I was 2 gallons short and the Gas had to be ABOVE the Full line and not AT the Full line. I knew it was not two gallons short because I just filled it up in Fontana and I averaged 32MPG during the entire rental. He said I could fill it up or pay him two gallons ($ 7 cash only) so I filled it up myself not willing him to give him anything extra. He probably wanted to pocket the cash because why would he care and waste his time to fill the car for 2 gallons (not even close) if the next renter is going to rent it out shortly? How many gallons did I fill up? 0.30 Gallons until the gas pump clicked and stopped!!! I’m not trying to cheat a few gallons but all other rental companies allow 1⁄8 of the tank gauge shortage without a surcharge but the owner wanted it to be ABOVE the full line and not AT the full line. That’s only 1⁄20 of the fuel gauge.
I would of given this place a 1 star but resorted to 2 stars because it was $ 80 cheaper for a two-​week rental via Costco’s website.
