Brought my car in and as usual great service, fast and friendly. Can’t do better than this place! Won’t go anywhere else.

Brought my 1996 Tacoma for smog repairs about a month ago. Great job. Not only the repair has been addressed but my parking brake and other things got adjusted for free. I really appreciate this gesture. Great, professional, and honest. Tomasz

Found AA Smog check center on Unilocal and the 5 stars mos def grabbed my attention.
Unilocal land didn’t lie, exaggerate or disappoint. I called first and the phone only rang once and was picked up (a major plus as some businesses do not pick up) the rep stated the smog check could be done immediately so I rolled up and sure enough I was asked for my smog papers and keys :) (down side oil change is backed up 5 business days) Adam the team member was extremely professional and straight to the point with all the right information.
No complaints not even on the waiting room as the customer service and service overrides any complaints on a small waiting room.
I will be back and refer this business to other friends and family members.

Second time coming here and Sy (the owner) is still wonderful. Always a short wait and I enjoy the complimentary soft drinks and the more than fair prices ($ 50 for a smog). I came here recently on a Thursday just before 4:00pm and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Very pleased and will continue to use AA Smog Check Center.

awesome, Awesome, AWESOME!!! Excellent Service and staff. Steven is the BEST! Took me 2 months to get my work done (I know, i know what you’re thinking but I’ll explain it later).
Either they have below market pricing (or everybody else is overcharging). I was expecting $ 1,200 repair and only paid $ 800 (two catalytic converters (out sourced), fuel pressure regulator, mass air flow sensor, air filter and smog test). 1999 Chevy Silverado 8cyl 4.8L.
Every time I went for service, they were crowded. Steven kept assigning me days to come back and they kept getting busier and busier so I just showed up one day and dropped it off. Told him I was leaving it and call me when they get to it.
Eventually he did. Fair and honest. He uses his cell phone to take photos of the problem and shows it to you. My extensive work took 4 days once diagnosed.
PROS:
Everything is good with these guys! I introduced Steven to my 17-​year old daughter and told her this is your mechanic for life! I told Steve; whatever the problem; «just fix it» and I’ll come pay for it. .. he’s that honest!
CONS:
(even the cons are good). He’s sooo good and popular, he’s outgrown his current location. There are cars everywhere! He could (easily) occupy the entire building he shares with Midas and a body shop. That’s why the small waiting room gets negative ratings. It’s over crowded!!!

needed a smog check, drove in without an appointment, even forgot my DMV paperwork. Took my car immediately, done in 10 minutes. Was out of there with my certificate and on my way. Very satisfied and would definitely go back

I read the reviews and took my car for a smog check, oil change and tire rotation. This is the best experience I’ve had. They were understandably busy. It was a Saturday plus they obviously get returning customers and referrals. I was given status updates while I waited. The lobby is small, unattractive and there’s no TV. This is just an observation because I was satisfied using the free wifi on my phone and iPad while I waited. The customer service was excellent and Steve was detailed with each customer explaining the service and what to expect in the future. I will be back for any maintenance or repairs needed in the future. It’s obvious they care and they’re not just trying to take your money and push you out the door. Thanks Steve!

Needed to come in and get my Smog test done on my car. I called ahead, like some of the tips/​reviews suggest. I arrived and gave them my DMV form and they took my keys to perform the smog test. They were finished in about 15 minutes which was great. The only issue I had was that they have a very small waiting room that was kinda run down. Other then that, the service was fast and the staff was nice.

Took care of me within seconds very friendly and polite, definitely recommend going where. Btw got a smog for my renewal.

Great service. Had my SUV in and out in 15 minutes! Price is reasonable and now I can renew my plates after passing the smog check! Highly recommend this place!

Took my wife’s car in for smog check. I was in and out, with certificate in less than 10 minutes. I would recommend them to anyone. Very quick, honest and thorough, good experience.

Excellent, very excellent. They’re really respectful and informative and educational about what’s going on with your car and how all the parts really work. I know nothing about cars, but they took the time to explain everything to me and even go in depth on what the smog check paper meant. My car failed its initial smog check at a different shop that was trying to scam me for more money, but this place its on top of it. They really knew what they were talking about enough to explain it to another person with zero experience with cars (me). They even helped me find all of the information I need in order to go after the shop that scammed me.
A+++++ all the way. I will definitely be coming back, and I will definitely recommend to my friends

Said he would service the car in 20 min, but he did it in 10, great! saved me alot time considered i did drove quite a while to Rancho from Corona.

Took my motorhome this morning, little tight but no big deal. Was in and out within one hour on a Saturday morning. Very fair price. Happy to give this shop 5 stars.

Repair cost were significantly less than what I had been quoted at the other places I had gone to. I could actually afford to get my car repaired here! Not only that but Steven showed my husband exactly what the problem was and what was going to be fixed. We agreed to the price and repairs.
Originally he said he was a little backed up on work so it might take him a day or two to get to our car but he ended up finishing the work that same day! My car is running great and sounds like new again :)
I definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking for honest pricing and a mechanic with integrity. Thank you so much Steven.
