LKQ Specialized Parts Rancho – GM

Mindy is my sales rep and she is phenomenal. She’s very helpful even if LKQ doesn’t have the part available. She goes out of her way to do homework to find me the part from somewhere else. She is reasonable with her prices and she’ll always give you a straight answer. Thanks Mindy for all the help!

Overpriced! Slow service! Impossible for refunds! These LQK locations are just a huge mess from top to bottom. I give this joke of a company another five years until it all catches up with them.

I ordered a part for my boss and had spoken with many different places to find the cheapest.
I’ve read reviews about this place after I had ordered the part. Thankfully, Jose Hurtardo helped me through this process and told me about what they could do to make the transaction easier and what they couldn’t do.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience. If you need any future parts, speak with Jose Hurtardo and he’ll make sure you get the right part and good customer service.

To update this review, When I returned on Monday to pick up my part. IT WAS THE WRONG ONE. They said it wouldn’t be in until the following Tuesday. Which ended up being the wrong one once again. This time my stepdad came up there with me & we hand picked the correct part FOR them. finally receiving it the next Thursday. phewww.

I’ve been calling the recyclers in Rancho Cordova for almost a decade to purchase used parts. Over the years, I resorted simply calling the area because of the knowledgeable people with ready parts available.
Recently, the recyclers seem to have changed hands and is now LKQ. I’ve still been buying parts with the new guys even though people kept moving on in this company.
Long story short, they have been sending me the wrong parts that I need. I have to end up shipping it back. They told me that they will reimburse me for shipment costs on the phone. However, they lost my customer records on the system, because they say I don’t have an «account» with them. Again, I’ve been calling the same number for a near decade. Little to my surprise, they called me after receiving my packages, saying that they won’t reimburse my shipping cost because I don’t have a business account!
LKQ: Perhaps had you of kept the system records after acquisition, or not fail to send the CORRECT part in the first place, customers won’t have to get out of their way to pay for shipping on a refund. YOU screwed up. Not the customer! What kind of half-​wit greedy policy is this?
If you want to cross your fingers in hopes that they will send you a correct part in good condition, go to these guys, and good luck.
There are better recyclers out there compared to LKQ. I’ve finally listened to others who have experienced similar issues, and now I understand.
