I read the reviews, still came because the only other extended stay was even worse. Checking in was chaotic. He gave me a key to a room that had people in it. Had to give me a new room. The Internet is not free, you need to pay to upgrade or you can’t even stream YouTube. Right from the gate, I had 2 guys right in front of the office call me a «snowbunny» and asked if I wanted to join their «team». Got to the room, big stains on the very thin blanket. Worn towels. Bolted down tube tv. I paid for a queen bed, non smoking, I was put in a full or twin, that was so smokey my eyes watered. I called the front desk and he assured me it was non smoking. Unfortunately, I have a nose, I can smell it. So here’s where it gets interesting… we stayed, I needed a kitchenette until our house was ready, the full 5 nights, I was going crazy. Scratching like crazy. I had bites. All over my feet and legs. I thought I was having a reaction to my new lotion. Nope! My husband woke me up and grabbed me out of bed to show me 3 ticks! They were in the bedding!!! I just packed up all my stuff and left. It sucks, the manager seems like a nice enough guy. He gives a place to stay to people that could not rent anywhere else, but you still have to keep up the property.

While I did not stay due to booking complications the staff was horrible, the young lady with dark hair working on 4÷1÷2016 graveyard was rude and very unprofessional. I will not every stay here with rude staff.

$ 425 for a week here this place is dirty. The blanket has stains, the bathroom doesn’t smell clean and the first thing we noticed walking into the room was smoke smell.
states there is a full kitchenette and a coffee pot and a toaster. There is a mini mini fridge. No coffee pot and no toaster. Flat screen tv, ummmm NO IT IS A 19″ 1998 tv no remote. Parking lot dirty. Had to move the dresser to plug in the tv. Fridge gets stuck on cabinet and doesn’t close. Fridge smelled like windex and had a puddle of windex in it also. Booked a week and planes on staying the whole time of repairs. But we are leaving a getting a refund Monday going back to the RedRoof Inn. Now that was a nice place we stayed there last night.

It’s ok for having a place to sleep and stay warm I don’t really like it here due to nothing within walking distance and its tucked hidden in back and hard to find first room given to me was thrashed and lady gave me keys that didn’t work got deactivated instantly and also gave me wrong room at first then had to walk up and downstairs multiple times with all my luggage to get a new room and keys and my new room had no blanket on the bed and cigarette butts on floor

This is almost the most disgusting place I’ve ever slept in, and ive slept in some pretty nasty shit. Front desk customer service was great! The room I was assigned literally made me gag when I opened the door. I took a quick video while holding my breath and when I showed it to reception, she gave me the biggest discount she was authorized to give. She said the room was marked as clean and I totally understood. With a smile I said «I’ll give a good review anyway if the next room is ok.» Well, I am being very generous with the one star. I would not have stayed had it not been the end of a very very long day. How disappointing!

I stayed here for 4 nights a week for 3 weeks and I was planning on spending 4 nights this week but they didn’t have my reservation. This is the 2^nd time they did this to me in 4 weeks. Every week I told them that I needed a room from Sunday night to Thursday morning until the end of the year. Last week I made a standing reservation for the month of November and I was told that the room was booked. I showed up tonight only to be told I don’t have a reservation. Needless to say I was not happy with them and I will not be staying with them again. I guess they didn’t want the $ 1000 I would have spent staying there.
Last week when I checked into my room I found the kitchen and bathroom floors extremely dirty, someone had spilled something on half the kitchen floor. It turned the washcloth I used to mop the floor black from all the dirt. There were no garbage cans, the walls had streaks of grim running down them, The toilet seat was about ready to fall off, the battery on the smoke detector was not connected, the thermostat read error the entire time I was there. The lights kept flickering on and off and the TV would turn off from it and I could hear arcing taking place inside the electrical panel. I reported the electrical problem Tuesday afternoon and no bothered to check it out for the 2 nights I stayed after I reported it. The GFI receptacle by the kitchen sink was also defective.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, You are taking your life in your hands by staying at this ghetto hotel/​motel. I understand why this place has such a low rating. Everyone that works there is totally incompetent and dumber than a fence post.

Reading the other reviews I’m starting to see we really don’t have it so bad. Sure, my first thought walking in was ‘dear Jesus, help us all,’ but that’s ok I guess. We were greeted by an overwhelming chemical odor as soon as we stepped in. Instant headache, no joke. Clearly something terrible happened in this room before we got here. It’s a shoebox of a room, so I wouldn’t be surprised if multiple squabbles and subsequent gun fights broke out over sheer frustration with always rubbing shoulders with your roommate. But at least that means they cleaned the room! The TV dates back to 1992, making it nearly as old as I am. The sink in the bathroom is dripping loudly, and the toilet does the kind of flush where it does the job but you’re very nervous about it being able to do it again, the TV doesn’t work, the ‘closet’ is a yard’s worth of a cheap rack out on the open, and the table has a broken leg and mismatching chairs. And if we were any closer to the freeway, we’d be sleeping/​having our gun fights atop your Subaru. At least I don’t see any cockroaches yet.

To all of you out there. Do not, I repeat, do not book this hotel. In this 21^st century, customer service is very very important! But this place was the worst I have ever had to deal with and I am not one that nitpicks on places I need to stay. After driving about two hours, I was 10 minutes away and I get a phone call from Crosslands to tell me that they have over booked and that they cannot accommodate me. I have booked 2 rooms at this place and had nowhere to go. They said that their other location was also booked and they cannot help me. WTH!?!

I booked a non-​smoking room reservation with Extended Stay through their customer service. I was given the address to Crossland. I drove by the property a few times because I could not believe that was where my reservation was at.
Against my better judgment, I went ahead with booking the room even though I was told I was going to be in a smoking room. I had just drove 7 hours and needed to get to a business meeting. I thought, how bad could it be. Uhhh, very bad.
The room was the size of my closet at home, the entire carpet had stains, the curtains had stains and holes. The smell was atrocious. I would not have minded a small room for the price, but I did not feel comfortable touching anything in that room.
I went down to the front desk to ask for a refund, which the staff was more than willing to give me a refund which would show up on my credit card 3 – 5 days later. No problem, just wanted off the property. I asked to speak with the manager or contact information for the manager and was told that the property did not have a manager. I asked who the staff responded to and who was their boss. I was told the current staff just kind of run the place. Sorry guys, not doing a good job. The place is scary for and Extended Stay should stay far away from that place. Someone is not doing their job and monitoring properties that are associated with the name.
PLEASE STAY AWAY!

Do not live in this noisy and bug infested hotel with very rude and irresponsive front desk staff. It is cheap but i got bitten by bugs when i lived there. I transferred to different rooms but still got bitten by bugs. Prostitutes are visible in the vicinity. It is not a safe environment. I can hear my noisy neighbor who fights and kicks the wall so i have called the police. I can also hear stumping upstairs. I was not able to sleep at night. The front desk people– Jazmon and the mexican lady night shift crew who refused to say her name on phone – are very rude and irresponsive to my complaints. Some late nights, i hear unusual knocks on my door. My aircon/​heater was broken and was not replaced with a new one. Curtains have holes and was not replaced. No action from management. Very Terrible place to live in. Live somewhere else if you want a good night sleep.

I would give this NO stars of that was an option. I haven’t even been here 24 hours yet. I had no choice but to stay here, this was all I could afford, but in hindsight I should have just slept in my car, and showered daily at the gym. Definitely a cleaner options.

They are everywhere, in everything. I didn’t have any food out where the hell were they coming from? In the shower, on the table, just nasty.
BATHROOM
Nasty! It looked like it hadn’t been washed since this place opened. I know they have house keeping, don’t they at least clean it once the guest leave? I’m going to say no on that. There were stains all over the shower. Just years of body rust and grime piled up. I was so stiff showering bc i didn’t want my body to touch the walls of the shower. If you choose to stay here, slippers and shower shoes are a must!
PEOPLE
Growing up, I use to live in a shelter in New York City. And that was a better experience than this! You can hear people stomping about and arguing. Someone smoked so much weed, I got a contact high because it was seeping through the vents. I have never seen a shady bunch of characters in my life. It is scary over here. I am just glad its not the summer time because I know it would have been much worse. This is crackhead country, trust me when you leave out on a daily basis, take your valuables with you.

I recently stayed a week at this hotel. There weekly rates are fairly decent compared to other hotels in the area. The room was clean and had a small kitchen which I needed. My overall stay was very pleasant and if I did have any issues, Yazmon and the rest of the staff were always there to assist with a bright smile on their faces. It definitely isn’t the Holiday Inn but it serves it’s purpose. I read all the comments before writing mine and I do agree with a lot of them. It seems there is a certain element here but I was not bothered at all. I found my week stay very peaceful and the staff terrific. However, if you are looking for a high end hotel this is not one of them. Like I said earlier it serves it’s purpose if you need an extended stay.

I stayed here to find a moment’s relief from the sound of domestic violence emanating from an adjoining unit in my complex. I chose it for the price. High rent = low funds. At first glance, I questioned my booking. But, when I checked in, the staff was very kind and. compassionate. I struggled with the wheelchair and a resident helped me. I was tired and frustrated from my own struggles and maybe. self absorbed. The ability to be kind to one another through the hardship, is the very definition of Community. To the nay-​Sayers. If you want more. Pay More. This was perfect for me
As I left this morning, Jefferson came to mind. «. until their children wake up homeless on a continent their fathers conquered.»

A place to sleep, this place is like sleeping in a jail cell, small room, hard bed, close neighbors, old appliances, run down, but hey, freshly painted and remodeled, AC inconsistent and blows on a wall instead of the room, customer service was great, people live here, people have old run down broken down oily dripping cars here, the kids that live here make a mess, all over the place, and it’s a little ghetto considering the area is exclusively covered by premier hotels in a hotel district. If it was not remodeled, 1 star. I slept horribly here, and I will not return, no matter what savings you get on a discount site, don’t take the risk of having your car broken in, feel like you are in a cell that has not been properly cleaned or shampooed.

1^st thing I noticed was the well worn and stained carpet in my wonderful room! I was told once I am in my room to review the «practical comforts package» (these are kitchen items… plates silverware kitchen towels pans and spatula colander coffee maker toaster and dish drying rack) then call the front desk and it will be deliered to the room. Well the phone did not work so off to the office I go. I have a total of three people in the room but they would only give me setting for two. I had to plead with the not so nice mgr. She gives me a fake little smile and hand me one old bent fork and 1 more plastic glass. I can tell you though all the other employees here are truly very nice. The Mgr. Jazman is rude and not a nice person at all to the guest. She is just outright RUDE and has the worse fake smile I have ever seen.
Then I go to the bathroom to find the vent fan does not work. Then looking up at the ceiling in the bathroom long black hair laced all across the ceiling. Then i go to take a shower and the shower curtain is too short so the floor is flooded from the shower. Of course I get out of the shower and fall right on my… I go to the front office to ask for a new shower curtain or a room with the right size and I am told that ALL the shower curtains are too short in ALL the rooms. I ask for a roll of TP and I am told this is the last one we have, we are waiting on for the shippment to come in. I also ask for extra towels to accomidate the short shower curtain and i am told «NO» I ask for the rug floormat kind and they are out of them. Not to mention the fact once again that I am paying for three people in this room but they will only give a setting of towels for two.
I am doing some wash in the laundry room to find out it is 2.00 a load to wash and 2.00 a load to dry. While I am in the laundry room some very nice looking crack heads are doing thier laundry only to find out that they stole another guest load of whites. They were using the dead bolt to prop the secured door open. Pets are allowed here which is nice but the fee is like 25.00 pr day no more then 150.00 per pet. WHY the fee? I have not heard nor have I seen a carpet cleaner ran since I have been here! The beds here are horrible if you move it sounds like your sleep on a pile of place bags.
This place is full of well… what can I say but crack heads, prostitutes. and a whole bunch of pot smokers!!!
If you are traveling DO NOT STAY HERE!!! unless you are crackhead, a prostitute or a pot head.

The night staff was ok (but would have been nice it they got off the phone with their boyfriiend/​husband). The morning front desk girls were super nice and very helpful. The place basically serves as low income temp housing for people so you get lots of young single parents with their young kids and lots of 18 – 22 old guys hanging out being loud. At midnight I hoped the 7 year olds parents would have taken them to bed.
Anyways the rooms are decent but the mattress are HORRIBLE!!! Can I stress that enough? The beds are paper thin mattress that will not allow you to get more then 1 hour sleep. I would not go back for this reason.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL!
1. It’s a residential slum for low income people. I estimate ½ to ²⁄₃ people staying there are residents. To wit, I ate at a restaurant two blocks away and was bothered while eating at dining patio by a pan handler. Later, I recognized the pan handler as one of the residents at the motel! She’d leave the motel and head for the restaurant as if heading off for work.
The first night I stayed, there was a police search of the building with police dogs for someone hiding out in the motel complex. Gives you an idea what goes on there.
2. They don’t clean your room or give your towels unless you ask them.
3. Days in advance, I had asked for a room for my handicapped mother. They said they’d reserve one for me. When I arrived, they didn’t have one (gave me a cock and bull story that someone else had booked the room ahead of me). Then they put me in a cigarette smoke stinking room with ashes in the drawers. The beds were as uncomfortable as they come.
This motel is cheap… for a reason. Stay away from this place. Go stay elsewhere even if you have to pay a bit more.

I stayed at Crosslands from July 18, 2012 to Sept. 15, 2012. They had great rates! The entire staff provided great customer service from management to house keeping. They have this Creed in the lobby/​office that states to treat others/​guest the way you would want to be treated and the definitely uphold what the company represents! I would stay at this exact Crosslands again and I would recommend it to any one I know

This place is disgusting overpriced and there’s crackheads turning tricks in every other room .found an empty condom wrapper under the bed a halfway decent housekeeper could have easily noticed and threw away the walk ways and elevator smells like smoke ass and piss I just can’t think of one reason I would ever come back to this shithole would have been better off sleeping in my truck

The worst hotel I’ve ever been in! The room was tiny, the bed was a box spring! The carpet was sticky, so don’t take off your shoes! It had a 10 inch tv and no room service at all! And the room smelled like mold and cat urin!
Couldn’t get extra pillows or blankets because the front desk said they didn’t have any… What?!?
I’ve stayed at other Extended Stay Hotels before and they were very nice. This one was just a complete disappointment and disaster.
