Brainy Zoo Toys

Take my daughter here all the time,. its a great place they have some of the coolest toys. They even have ones from when I was a kid everything from science kits labs, learning toys and one of my favorite magic kits. Its is so fun to wander around the store you run across so much interesting learning goodies for children… shh our secret adults too. I really recommend this as a go to place for children when you want to get away from the typical toysrus toys that don’t teach or you learn nothing from that kids are bored of the second the get them home toys and brainy zoo keep getting played /​learned with in my home and are a two thumbs up from this mom… the only thing is bring your wallet full because you just want to spend… last but not least the staff are always super nice and really helpful show you the toys how the work even if it means taking them out of the box getting into it to show you how it all works…

This is literally a child’s wonderland. I wish I could’ve been to such an amazing toy store when I was a child. Floating jellyfishes and trinkets lined the windows around the store and you can’t help but be drawn into the place.
The staff here are super friendly and the store itself is very bright, clean and inviting. From Japanese Kendama toys to being able to stuff your own dragon, there is everything for any child. They even have costumes for sale, perfect for Halloween or just for dress-​up; I found a beautiful Elsa dress and a super cool hero cape, totally made me wish I had a kid to buy it for.
It’s really nice that there are toys out for children to test and play with. I actually have never touched kinetic sand before and it was fun messing around with it for a bit.
Final Thoughts: I wish there were more of these toy stores around, they kind of make you appreciate toys so much more.

Fun unique toy store with educational toys for kids. I like the made in Italy toys. I try not to buy China.

Let me start by saying I try my very best to buy USA made items whenever possible.
Before visiting the store I searched for some dominoes made in the USA, without luck.
So I purchased a puzzle and a set of dominoes; to my surprise, both were made in the USA.

Great toy store with lots of items out for little hands to «test» they have lots of more unique and hard to find items. The staff is super friendly and were able to answer my questions etc. it’s in the same complex as Spaghetti Factory so if there’s a wait for a table my son and I will do a little shopping and rarely leave empty handed. They also offer free gift wrapping which was great at Christmas.

This was my first visit and I decided to bring my kids to the weekly story time. I am so amazed by this store. I have been to a few like it, but nothing as organized and as big. Every toy has it’s place. I never felt like I was in a Toys R Us about to pull my hair out. Also, it felt very clean, unlike Toys R Us.
The story time was very interactive. Ms. Robin really kept the kids interested. And after they even supplied a healthy snack.
I can’t wait to bring my kids back!

I used to come here as a child and now I bring my own children here for that extra special and unique gift. I already got something very special here for my daughter the other day, and that was when I found out that Santa would be there today. I have never taken my daughter to see Santa, and I am glad I did because she asked and said she was ready. We had lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory and went to wait for him to arrive. The store clerks were sweet and helpful which added to the atmosphere. My daughter saw Santa walking around the toy store and didn’t hesitate to greet him and give him a hug. Thank you Santa, and Brainyzoo, for making this a very special day for my child… we will always be loyal customers!

What a great place! The staff is very helpful and knowledgable. Fun store to shop at and kids love it, lots of tunings to play with while you shop. However seems a little pricy but worth it because most things are «one of a kind» not something you can’t find just anywhere.

Such a wonderful toy store. A true gem for parents in this area. You can find so many wonderful and unique toys. They have many educational and sturdy toys that aren’t going to fall apart and end up in the garbage after a few plays. Definitely a must visit when looking for a special toy for a birthday or holiday.

I really enjoy this toy store! There is a wide selection of toys, and good customer service to help you find them. It is a very kid friendly place that has a number of demo toys and play tables set up for the kids to play on. My family enjoys getting a meal at the Spaghetti Factory located next door, and waiting for our table to be called by playing in the toy store. When I need to buy a gift for kids, its the first place I think of. Always friendly, great service, and a fun place to shop. I recommend it to anyone looking for good quality toys for kids.

Unique, creative and imaginative toys makes this boutique toy store a fantastic place to find toys, activities and gifts. They’ll wrap your presents for free, too. Quality customer service and super easy location to get to (right off of 50 east at Hazel and Folsom). I can’t wait to have an excuse to go back!

Totally stumbled upon this place when stopping for lunch at the Spaghetti Factory and boy was I glad we did! As a mommy of 3, I am always looking for new places/​things/​ways to entertain the kiddos and this place is great.
Very large selection of toys that you don’t typically see at the big box toy superstores. Educational and unique finds galore! They even had several tables of toys out for the kids to play with. The staff is very patient, kind and helpful as well. I overheard her give several well thought out suggestions to other patrons and thought I’d ask about games for toddlers. She lead me to the area and pointed out several selections and then even helped me read several boxes to help me pick out what would be most appropriate for my crew. Love this kind of service!

I’m so glad that this store has survived, as every other business (other than Spaghetti Factory) in the building comes and goes!
This is the coolest little toy shop. There are science kits, classic books, puppets, trains, playmobil, and even odd little toys i had as a kid that you can’t find anywhere else! There is no Disney Princess, Hot Wheels, comic book stuff here… just classic, unique, and educational toys for kids of all ages! Even I find myself longing to get some of my old favorites!

This toy store is similar to Zainy Brainy back in the day. I got a LivingSocial deal here and enjoyed my time in the store. Some toys seem overpriced but it is a small store so it is to be expected. They have lots of fun age appropriate toys and a good selection. I like toys that kids can be creative with so this store is right up my alley.

This place makes me want to say… «I’ll take one of each!»
There are toys you can find at Walmart or Target then there are toys you can only find at this place. You can purchase educational toys or toys that just scream «FUN». The place is so colorful and organized. The employees so polite and so helpful.
I walked in there this past Saturday and I did not want to leave, I wanted to look at everything and like the average child… touch everything and that seemed to be OK with them.
The place is located in the same building as The Old Spaghetti Factory and Monster Mini Golf.
The prices range from very inexpensive to I can find that elsewhere cheaper. It seems like a great place for teachers to find materials to decorate or to use in their curriculum or for moms like me to find tools to help along with their childrens education in a fun way.
I have 3 children and every time I go there I find something for each one of them and even walk out with something for myself ;) (a cute pen, pencil or knick knack)
LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!
