This was one of the WORST nail salons I’ve been to in 10 years. They completely rushed through my pedicure, and my manicure looked like crap. She really didn’t even cut my cuticles with my manicure which is the whole point of a manicure. All they were focused on the whole time I was there was up selling me to get additional services added on for more money. (Ex: did I want to buy the $ 45 pedicure it had an extra sugar scrub 10 min massage, gel nail polish, French tips, designs on my nails.) Luckily I could tell 2 to 3 minutes into my pedicure that it was going to suck and that the nail technician was going to rush and wasn’t concerned about my relaxation at all. I bought the second tier pedicure and got all of a 2 min massage, which I think it says it should be 7! There is no need in purchasing anything above the basic package for a pedicure b/​c they totally don’t spend the extra time it says your’re paying for.

This is a nice place to get nails done or facial waxing that you need.
Though it costs a little more for nails, it is a very relaxed environment. It is nice and clean. The chairs are comfortable and the wait is usually not that long.
The staff are nice and will talk to you. They are gentle with waxing. When I got my eyebrows done today, they were careful not to yank the wax out of my brows as other places had done. After my waxing was complete the staff made sure to use a nice moisterizer.
For waxing the price is similar to other places. This was a nice place to have eyebrows waxed. Children are welcome.

Racist and rude. I’ve tried this place a couple times and the service is horrible. On multiple occasions I’ve been told to «pick a color and take a seat» and then other women (without appointments) walk in and get seated right away. And each time, there has been a clear difference. Either they believe money coming from a black patron spends differently from a white patron or they are concerned I won’t tip, but I will surely NEVER go back and would encourage others to do the same.

Pedicure was so-so…for $ 33, I was expecting a bit more. I only went here because it was open until 8PM, but I don’t think I’ll be back. My pedicure felt super rushed, and they have signs posted everywhere saying the amount of time that’s supposed to be spent on your foot massage. For the «Deluxe» pedicure, it was to be 7 minutes long… definitely didn’t feel like 7 minutes. The entire pedicure took less than 20 all together!

As soon as I walked in no one even said hello! They just looked at me! I came in after work to get my shellac done & the lady was very rough & made several of my fingers bleed. My french manicure the white part was all thick & uneven on both hands. I even had a few marks on one finger that she messed up with the paint! The spa wasn’t even really that nice. I won’t be back & I def didn’t leave a tip!

So bad. SO bad. And I’m not even picky. I had the most painful pedicure and my polish looks like a 5 year old did it. I should have gotten up and walked out the first time she nicked me. Or the second. I have never had a more unrelaxing pedicure in my life. I was being yanked around and the calf massage was so painful. I proceeded to get my manicure because I’m leaving for a trip and didn’t have time to go elsewhere. The manicure was so rushed and I am bleeding in more than one spot. I just got clear polish on my hands because I wasn’t about to get a botch job on my hands as well. She did not use toe separators so my «ring» toe smudged against my middle. Infuriating.
The place is gross. Water puddles everywhere, dirty rugs, old pedicure chairs. I couldn’t locate my massage controller and she didn’t even stop her hurried work to help me. Never again. I wish I could get a refund I’d take my 60.00 and go elsewhere.

Rude staff, overpriced and they cut my foot. Many other places that are SO much better and appreciate a customer’s business.

Hoan did an excellent job. Even though I came in within 30 mins of closing time, she offered to get me a complimentary beverage, took extra care to not make me feel rushed and was meticulous about making the pedicure perfect. They have added several more pedicure chairs. Although I happen to have never had to wait for a service personally, I have seen them very busy and starting a waiting list before. They seem to be trying to step up their facilities and services to compete with other local foot spas. Their prices begin at $ 28 for a basic pedicure and go up to $ 45. The basic pedicure I had done (to be courteous with my late evening arrival) included the usual pedicure services, a brief foot and lower leg massage and paint. I will definitely return again soon.

Went and paid over 70 dollars for a manicure with shellac and a pedicure. In less than a week my manicure had completely peeled off and ruined my nails. I called and asked for a refund and was told I could pay half price to get them fixed and that they don’t do refunds. I will make sure to never go there again!

Visited this establishment several times and although the service was good and I was concern about its cleanliness. This last visit the whole salon was DIRTY! Floors, bathroom, dusty and the dryers for the gel nails were filthy. It seem that the salon hadn’t been clean in a while. I will not return because this could lead to health issues.

Won’t be going back. This place used to be really good, but has gone downhill over the last year or so. Made a reservation for a pedicure and manicure, they did an average job and I felt rushed. There are too many other options in this area. I don’t feel I got my money’s worth. Highly disappointed with the service. Plus I wasn’t able to communicate at all with the lady who did my pedi/​mani.

What a POS business. The manager or owner working on ¹²⁄₁₉ has the attention span and business sense of a gnat. I went in for a simple manicure and received the worst service. Long story short, they had 3 people do my simple manicure, the second 2 neither addressed me or did an adequate job, and because of piss poor management, I received only ²⁄₃ of the service. And the polish job was less than adequate until I requested he clean it up. All ladies know one of the best parts is the massage, but because the manager (who was my second manicurist) doesn’t know her head from her a$$, that got missed and after mentioning it to the third he said no one told him it hadn’t been done. When requesting my bill to be altered the manager refused and kept telling me $ 16. It’s evident she doesn’t understand the meaning of customer service. I’ll gladly pay more and drive further to give my business to a better quality business.
A tip to the manager — get off the phone and pay attention to the world around you, including customers.

When I lived in the triangle, I went here at least monthly for over three years to get a pedicure and eyebrow waxing. I wouldn’t trust anyone else in the Triangle to touch my eyebrows and you couldn’t beat the price for a mani/​pedi combo. The quality of service is normally consistent regardless of your technician but I do have friends who have favorites and you can definitely make request when you arrive or make an appointment with a specific nail technician.

I went to get my nails done for my cruise about 2 weeks ago. I tried the SNS. The next day my nail broke I went in got the nail repaired but the guy was in a rush and my nail was crooked. I following day another nail broke I scope on a microscope so I don’t do hard labor so my nails should be able to with stand a scope. Then I go on my cruise 5 more nails broke. I was on vacation not doing anything hard one broke when I was picking up a chair cushion. I feel like I spent $ 55 in vain. I also got my eyebrows done also. I know that I don’t have the best eyebrows but I have gone to different places before and the have not mess up my eyebrows like this place. I will not go back unless I want to waste my money.

I’ve been to Tips 2 Toes often. More so the first time I lived in the Triangle before 2008. Since our return in 2011, I’ve returned a few times and the quality of service isn’t what I remembered. They still welcome walk-​ins. I rarely make an appointment and have always been accommodated with minimum wait time. Everyone is still very friendly. Prices have gone up a bit as expected, but still reasonable and competitive. However, the last two times my pedicures have been uncomfortable, to say the least. The first instance involved a bit much enthusiasm with the cuticle clipper. My big toe stung for a few days. The second instance involved VERY hot water. I have a high threshold for pain, but this even made me tear up a bit. It was so hot that my skin was very tender and the rest of the pedicure was painful. I was thankful that she was quick (maybe a bit rushed as well) and it was all over soon enough. I haven’t been back since which saddens me because they used to be so happy with my pedicures before.

Save your time and money and go somewhere else! Service is terrible and they suck at they’re jobs!

They were in a hurry and whispering in front of us. I’ve been twice and both times my nails bled.

Good wait time for walk in service. Employees are friendly. You can get a deluxe pedicure for about 33.00 and the nail art was nice enough. The salon looks small but has two sides.

The reason I am giving this place a 1star is because they LIE. I asked for the basic pedicure (no ‘stone’ massage) and I got the up-​priced lame stone massage. The guy that gave me the pedicure said ‘oh but this is the one you really wanted. It is discounted’ I wasn’t going to pay for it but rather I am just taking my business elsewhere. REALLY PISSED. no tip either. Give me what i asked for.
The whole thing with stone massages is stupid. Very few people can do them well.
The previous pedicures I had there were okay.
I did get a shellac manicure there rather than LaVie near Southpoint once. It was of poor quality. They dont have the selection of colors like my other place and the product they use is harsh. The product at LaVie is much much better.
I came in after the woman next to me and we ordered the same package and I was done first.

Went on Sat morning and they were super busy. I more or less got right in after I picked out my color.
I got the new gel/​shallac stuff and its really hard to pick out the color because they are in solid color bottles with just a small window for the color to show. It was 30 bucks for manicure and color which is 10 more than the basic one.
One plus was that it didn’t chip for almost a week and a half and typically mine chip within the first 3 days.
The woman who did my nails was very meticulous and did a great job. I will probably go back again for the same even though it was a little pricey. I don’t really like how crowded it was though. I felt like an animal packed in.
