Mani Pedi Nail Spa

Unimpressed.
I came here with my mom, me to get a pedicure, my mom to get a foot massage, which is attached right next door.
First, I made an appointment for 3pm. I wasn’t asked to sit in a chair until 3:15pm and didn’t have anyone helping me until 3:35pm. What’s the point of an appointment if there’s nobody going to be ready to take me right when I made the appointment?
The person who did my pedicure was nice, but she didn’t offer me the complimentary beverage that I heard other women asking their customers. She just seemed unhappy and didn’t want to be there.
She did an okay job, massage was great, but I found the polish to be different than the OPI nail polishes I’ve used before. After I finished getting my toes painted, I was at the dryer for AT LEAST 20 MINUTES. (I sat there longer than I usually do because my mom was finishing up her massage) When I figured it would be dry, as I was getting up, the nail polish got messed up. I have never had a pedicure mess up after drying for that long.
The lady was nice enough to erase the polish and re-​paint my whole toe. Then, again, I sat there for another 15 or so minutes and got up and left when my mom was finished. When I got home, again, I saw that my polish had messed up. Weird.
I will write the same thing I wrote about the manager that I wrote for the foot spa. He’s rude, uninterested, and has a stern look all the time. He doesn’t greet any of the customers, doesn’t thank them for coming in, nothing. I don’t know if he is the manager, the owner, or whatnot, but he definitely needs to work in the back. He’s going to be the reason customers turn away.

I wish I could give this salon more stars, but I can’t for a number of reasons. I’ll start by saying that I used to love this place a few years ago! It was my first Thursday of the month ritual. A little pricier than other salons in the area but WORTH IT. I moved away, came back, and the salon isn’t the same nor is the environment.
The lady who did my pedicure was ruuuuuuude! I’m faithfully in someone’s chair once a month, yet she acted like the skin on my heels was a problem. Once she «finished» scrubbing I felt then and wasn’t satisfied and she said that i «couldn’t expect her to get it all». Oooooooh yes I can! She scrubbed again and finished the job but her attitude was just sour afterwards. She didn’t even walk me to the drying station or turn in my fan! I had to do it myself! Great polish job though!
I told the manager. He was unconcerned.
Oh no one offered me water, wine or anything. Totally not the service I used to get a few years ago. So disappointed.
Ohhhhh. They also have a sign posted that says the techs have varying degrees of expertise and to tell them if you aren’t satisfied. HA! Not at this price point!
There are tooooons of salons in the area now around the same price point! Spare yourself the disappointment and just go to one of those. Or keep some dollars in your pockets and hit up a cheap spot. That’s the kind of service you’ll get here. Obviously I won’t be back!

I live in Brier Creek, so I’ve been here a couple of times. There are many better places to go, so I doubt I’ll be back.
I went in a few weeks ago for a pedicure, and I just wanted the basic pedicure. It ended up being $ 31, which I thought was a little high for just a pedicure. The woman who did my nails was not very friendly.
I’m adding a star for the fact that they repainted my big toe after I smudged it getting into the car. I could tell that they didn’t really want to, but I figured that I could ask after paying as much as I did.

My sister and I went in for pedicures and were disappointed with the whole experience. The place isn’t relaxing and pretty loud. The employees weren’t very friendly and looked overworked. The pedicure was average, I expected more for the price. The place reminds me of one of the millions of nail salons in NYC that charge you ~$ 12…nothing special at all.

I had the best Pedicure at Mani Pedi! My guy was so nice and really listened to what i wanted! I have a relaxing time and am very happy with our nails and service! We kept them a bit past closing but we did not feel rushed! Will be back soon with an appoinment!

Why is this place in Brier Creek? I will never go back to this place again ever! The employees are very loud and rude. They seem to not like their job because they all walk around with a scowl on their faces. If you ask for something specific they pretend not to understand and carry on their conversation in Vietnamese. There are other wonderful nail spas in the area, but Mani Pedi is not one. For sure I will not go back there again!

My nails are okay but not worth 50.00. I called ahead and the guy told me 40.00 full set, so I decided to get my natural nails done with an overlay. Then when I get to the counter they say 50.00. I asked why I’m paying 50 when I only got my natural nails done. She said that 10.00 extras for over lay. Then proceeded to tell me that it would’ve been the same price if I got false nails. That makes no sense. I don’t know if they were trying to hide a tip in my price or if they assumed I was made of money. I won’t come back. The nail technician name was Van. Don’t let her do your nails.

I was given a gift certificate for Mother’s Day and used part of it today for a manicure. The lady spoke 2 words to me and worked with such speed I didn’t have time to enjoy it. She did however have plenty to say to her coworkers. I have been coming here since they opened and I doubt I will return for the remainder of my gift certificate. They need to slow down, say a few nice words and stop the conversation with others.

I really want to like this place, because the guy I go to is really good (Brian). But their overall service as a salon isn’t consistent. You make an appointment and then they make you wait 10 min… and then just take walk-​ins. Like… why even make an appointment?

The mani only looks good for three days then it starts to crack. The wait was also long, 20 min. While they have friendly service, and $ 15 for mani isn’t expensive, you get less than you pay for. Certainly it would be silly to expect a spa, but a mani lasting longer than 3 days isn’t exactly an unreasonable requirement, especially because the color selection is only average and the paint job had some tiny bubbles. The topcoat was also not applied perfectly evenly. She missed the corners. At least the color application was even and there wasn’t any spillover on the cuticles. However, I did like that they were gentle with my cuticles… no dry and peeling cuticles from here. I would tell friends about this place if they have sensitive cuticles, but I wouldn’t rave about the rest of the service.

Mani Pedi is the best! Every technician is skilled and polite. It’s my FAV and I’m super picky!

If you want a tech that will take care of your feet and give you the best pedicure… go and see Q!!! He is gentle but efficient. He also takes his time, never rushing. Also, is not that expensive.

With a flight cancellation stay over, I decided to find the closest nail salon to this Awesome Fairfield Inn by Marriott (see my trip advisor review) using… what else… Unilocal reviews. This salon was the winner. I ultimately became the winner with a really great tech named Lindy. She and I discussed my nail situation of separating acrylics that needed fill ins. She reshaped and revamped my nails with a beautiful gel manicure that made my nails look fantastic. I never tried gel but a client next to me had them and after our discussion, Lindy took off the old stuff (with drill and lift… didn’t hurt) and applied the gel regimen. I am thrilled with the results… too bad she doesn’t make fill-​in calls to Long Island. I will definitely return to this salon if I ever get back to Raleigh :) Give them a try and tell them a Unilocaler told you to. Clean and very spacious establishment with plenty of pedi chairs too. Oh yeah… all that work for $ 26(basic gel was $ 20 but the prep work was $ 6 to remove my old acrylics)

I tend to get pedicures elsewhere. I went a number of times and even by my third visit I was treated like a stranger. I never felt that welcomed to this part of the spa experience here and have since found a place I like better for pedicures.

I visit this place often. I have always been happy with the waxing services and would given the wax service a 5 star. The pedicures are hit and miss. It really depends on which tech I get. They are always very good about me and a friend walking in. We get seated together every time and they start us at nearly the same time.
I have had a facial here and it is wonderful and relaxing. They send me to a private room in the back that is away from the noises of the shop and the price is good.
Pros:
The massage chairs are great. The shop if clean and they have a good choice of drinks.
Cons:
Sometimes when I am with a friend and we order the same exact pedicure, one of us is finished a long time before the other. When I take my daughter with me, she complains that one tech is consistently under performing and hates to get that tech. They also charge $ 1 for a disposable liner for their chair. Seems like it should just be included in the price of the pedicure.

Fair prices, great people working there. I have had a wonderful experience every time I go. The technicians cater to exactly what you want and want to ensure you enjoy your visit.

I went it for a pedicure w my sister today — comfy massage chairs, was offered a drink, and I was happy with how the polish turned out. However, I was extremely disappointed in how rough, rushed and sidetracked my nail technician seemed. He was so rough with the callous scraper than I now have scratches on the sole and side of my right root. I was practically wrenching and pulling my foot out of his hand which he thought meant I was ticklish. Since it was cold out as well I did my best to roll up my pants but only got them up mid calf and he kept getting them wet and got lotion all over the edges. If I go there again I will be sure to not see him!

I have been going since it opened. I continue to go back, if that means anything. I have had a few issues. First, it’s expensive for the area. Secondly, their customer perks like coffee or tea were removed. I am not a wine drinker. (This has nothing to do with the end product, but I am looking for an overall relaxing experience.) Also, they charge $ 5 to remove their gel application. You would think that they could either mention it when you get it done, or not charge it if you had the application done by them. The gel application does look good for 2 – 3 weeks. You can get 3 if you are careful.
Lindy, Trina and Glen have been great. They take their time and I have been very pleased. The utensils are sanitized and the place is clean.
There is no rewards program. When most places offer some incentive for repeat business, you expect to be wowed by places that only have their merit. I can’t say I was wowed, but pleased.

This is a wonderful salon with high quality service professionals. The staff and service are always punctual. I am glad that I found this nail salon. Since I moved here last year, it has been my favorite nail salon and the only one that I go to when in the Raleigh area.
If anyone gets a chance to go there: I would recommend two artists there named Mike and Lindy. These are two very courteous, honest, and thorough professionals.
I always enjoy saying hi to them and I always look forward to my next appointment at their salon.
