History

Established in 1994.

In the summer of 1994, Canter Electric opened it’s Raleigh Division specializing in residential, commercial and industrial electrical service, installation and repair. Mr. David A. Martin started the branch with a pager, cell phone and a single service van. From 1994 through 2012 Mr. Martin grew the division from a small service and repair business to one of the largest electrical service companies serving the Triangle and surrounding areas. In 2013 Mr. Martin and Mr. Canter entered into an agreement for Mr. Martin to purchase the Triangle Division of Canter Electric. In order to continue the growth that Mr. Martin was blessed with at Canter Electric and to position the company for future opportunities the name of the Triangle Division of Canter Electric was changed to Tidal Electrical Services, Inc.

The Tidal Electric Team looks forward to serving our existing customers and helping the needs of future customers throughout the Triangle Area and beyond.
