Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. We had an amazing time and they give plenty of instruction. Great location near food and bars. Will definitely go back.

This was one of the most fun activities we have ever done! The owners have done a meticulous job with the room designs and decorations. I really can’t recommend this fun activity enough. The family that owns Tic Toc is very sweet. You should definitely give them your business!

This escape room was well thought out and super fun. It had a lot of puzzles from beginning to end. The room made sense and the guy was super nice and accommodating. One of the best escape games we’ve been to yet!

My family and I went to Tic Toc Escapes for a little non traditional Christmas Eve excitement. The staff was warm and welcoming (even though I’m sure there were places they would rather have been on Christmas Eve). The Green Room game was an absolute blast, and we were fortunate enough to make it out with just five minutes to spare.
This was our first ever escape room game, so I can’t compare Tic Toc to other similar businesses. But I can say without a doubt that our experience here was top notch. Highly recommened for a family or team building adventure.

Very fun! They staff is extremely nice. This is definitely something to try, especially for team building, birthdays, or just groups of friends.
My team holds the current record for shortest time to get out. Maximum time: 60 minutes Pitches Be Crazy: 45 minutes.

Awesome night out with a small company (just a few couples). We didn’t know exactly what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised at the cleverness of the set-​up. The staff did a good job of explaining the task at hand, and we found that everyone contributed in some way to its completion. What a great night. Can’t wait to do it again.

Tons of fun, my coworkers and I (5 of us) visited the Green Room at Tic Toc Escapes, it was incredibly fun. We’re all technically minded and were able to beat it, but it was pretty challenging! There were lots of puzzles of varying different types. Highly recommended for a group, you can have up to 8 in the Green Room, but I think that might be too many, 5 seemed close to perfect.

Some friends and I visited Tic Toc Escapes Saturday night and it was PERFECT! We were welcomed like family when we walked in then we entered «The Mausoleum» room. The puzzles were just hard enough to keep us on our toes and we all had a blast! We will definitely be back!

I’m not really a puzzle room expert but I can definitely say I had fun at tic toc escapes! After a failed attempt at competing Raleigh Room Escapes Zombie room, I was excited to see what Tic Toc would have in store for us. Located in Five Points neighborhood next to Hayes Barton Café and Lilly and Crafty Beverage, it’s got a very convenient spot for dates or a fun group!
Inside tic toc they’ve got two puzzle rooms. One smaller one for 2 — 4 people and a larger one for 4 — 8. We had a larger group go in on a media event but there was still enough room to move around in. The theme for the puzzle is you’re a rock star and you inadvertently get locked in the green room and you need to get out to perform! And of course without giving any details I can tell you there are your usual assortment of combination locks, pad locks and keys that will help you find your way out.
tic toc escapes is designed for a higher success rate and I’d have to say they had MORE locks/​puzzles to solve in the room but at an easier level. Which is cool because that means more people get to participate. We were able to escape with a bit of extra time but it was still a challenge. So if you’re looking for a fun way to spend an hour in the hood, drop on in or sign up! You’ll be scratching your head during the hour but in a good and fun way at tic toc escapes!

Tic Toc escapes was awesome! My husband and I have done a few escape rooms and this was one of our favorites so far. Very well done and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend them!

This place is a lot of fun and very challenging! And the staff is very friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back to try other rooms!

All I got to say is these escape rooms are so fun. They seem to be popping up all over the Triangle recently and the best part is that they are all very different. Tic Toc Escapes is centrally located in the 5 points neighborhood a few doors down from Hayes Barton and
across the street from Crafty Beer. It’s really the perfect spot for an escape room.
Thanks to Shop Local Raleigh I had the chance to check out Tic Tac Escapes for a blogger event. There were about eight or nine of us who participated it was a fun group. The room is pretty tiny so I would maybe keep it to 4 to 6 people to play. They also have a smaller room for 2 to 4 people. The room was music themed and we found the game both fun and challenging. I will say this was one of the easier games that I’ve played (I’ve never escaped before) technically if we followed the rules I’m not sure we really escaped this game but we were so close. They threw some exciting elements and props in as well I don’t want to tell you about them, it would just ruin all the surprises:)

If you’ve ever played escape room games online, you’ll recognize the format. If not, don’t worry — the owners do a good job of explaining what to expect (and are soooo nice!). They tell you basic strategy and rules in advance, and during will give you clues if you ask for it (without giving it away).
I went with a group of friends with various experience levels and we all had a blast. The more brains the better! And, don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it — my group stubbornly resisted too long! ;)
Would for sure come back when I’m in the area to see what room they dream up next!
