Target

First time going to this target and it was a pretty great experience. Parking went well & so did my shopping! The store could’ve been a tad bit neater, but hey, it was the day after Christmas. What do you expect?!

This is really the worst target store that I’ve ever seen.
Poorly organized. People wonder around aimlessly because nothing is intuitively placed.
The shelves are never stocked and the checkout lines are ridiculous.
Save time and go to a different location.

Think I’ll find another Target to go to even though this one (Central Raleigh) is closest and I have been going since it opened. Lately, this store is always out of things!!! Their makeup, nail polish etc shelves are EMPTY. Very frustrating. I go with 10 things on my list and can only get 5! This week I went in to get pictures when they were promised and they weren’t ready and no one was there to «replace the ribbon» on the machine. Again… very frustrating!

Great underground covered parking but it’s still always a madhouse. Just extremely popular location. Not my go to but I was already in North Hills, so very convenient. There is always a reason to visit Target.
Somewhat of a one stop shop which explains the crowds.
I stopped in to pick up some last minute things for my daughter’s birthday party. Target strategically places the $ 1 spot items at front. There is where my 4 yr old always seems to find something she needs or wants. She saves her pennies as do I and put them to good use at Target!

Very busy, parking is troublesome, employees are unprofessional, shelves, aisles were messy, low to no stock. This is not the Target that I’m used to.
On my moving day to Raleigh, one of the first places I came to was Target to get a few necessities. The above mentioned had me very sad. Additionally, lines were very long & only a few registers were open. Team members were slow ringing up people & were socializing with fellow co-​workers.
Even though this Target is about 10 minutes from my house, I don’t plan on shopping here.

As much as I hate giving less than a three star review, I would be doing fellow consumors a disservice if I didn’t simply say: the pharmacy here is AWFUL.
I’ll just go bullet point by bullet point:
* My scripts are never ready when they say they will be.
* They called me to tell me this only one time, out of the many times I’ve visited to inform me the script wasn’t ready. I was already in the car en route to Target when they called.
* The way that people form lines is stupid. People hide in the aisles and you can’t tell they are waiting. So you end up inadvertantly cutting in front of them and everyone gets cranky. This is partially the store’s fault for not having a better set-​up.
* There always seem to be so many people working there, but so few of those people are actually helping customers.
* Slowwwwwwwwww
* They are insensitive to customer needs. I needed a medication that they didn’t have and they said something very condescending in response. (Details withheld because of privacy).
* I transfered all my prescriptions elsewhere. Other Targets don’t suck this much. I still decided not to use a Target pharmacy. There are so many others to choose from.
In addition to the pharmacy sucking, the parking situation here is ridiculous. I always feel like I’m going to be hit if I go into that garage. Parking in the lot is better.
The people who stock the shelves almost nailed me one day with one of their jumbo carts. It is not shopper-​friendly, it is stocking clerk-​friendly. They do not move their giant carts to accomodate customer carts.
I recognize that this is charactaristic of all Target stores and giant chain superstores, but: the fluorescent lighting here is BLINDING. I always leave with a headache.
Best advice: don’t go here at all.

It’s Target — that alone should tell you most of what you need to know! Clothing, housewares, pet food, small grocery selection, great clearance prices, baby stuff, electronics, toys, pharmacy — Target. The details of the North Hills Target: On the smaller side compared to newer Target stores. Small selection in shoes and softlines, particularly underwear. The pharmacy (staffed by great, helpful people) also has a sort of clinic. Parking can be a nightmare during the Beach music events at North Hills. It’s often full of roaming teenagers on weekend nights. Has a Starbucks (of which there are three in a one-​block radius) as well as a small café serving things like popcorn and hot dogs. It’s Target! If there’s something you want, they probably have it.

There’s nothing quite like being followed around and watched closely by employees when one is just browsing before a movie. I didn’t realize that fitted clothes, sandals, and no purse or glasses, with my hair pulled back and my face in full view, made me look suspicious. Add no record and never having stolen anything to that, and I suppose that makes me a prime suspect for whatever it was they were profiling me. Kudos for being thorough, but make it a bit less obvious next time and I might actually buy something!

Love this Target! Four stars cause they do have a couple of issues, but great overall and my go-​to store.
The good…
–Conveniently located in North Hills
–Covered parking and enough of it (except on Thursdays with beach music)
–Clean and well-​organized store
–Employees who look like they care about their jobs.
The bad…
–The pharmacy. I have one regular Rx and it’s still at Target only because they accept my insurance and I run my errands here. I have two insurance policies and even after two years, they can’t seem to figure out out more than 50% of the time. It’s the same every month, so I am not sure why we are still having an issue with this.
–The cart incline. While I usually don’t have a full cart, it’s annoying that the cart incline is always down when I do.

I always go in wanting to buy a few items and end up purchasing so many. Target is truly addictive. You can find items for the whole family and the home.

No lie, at one point I had gone to this Target 7 times in 7 days. It’s just so damn convenient and it offers covered parking. Very few stores in the area have covered parking. Did I forget something, I’ll just run over to Target. I forgot something and it’s raining, I’ll just run over to Target. While the grocery section isn’t a full size grocer, it does have just enough necessary fresh items to be useful in a pinch. I’ve always felt that the employees were helpful and were always nice.
Although this location seems a bit smaller than other standalone Targets, I’ve never had an issue finding what I needed. There’s even a Starbucks inside, even though there’s another one just 2 floors up in the shopping center. 5 stars for being the best Target alive. Trips to Wal-​mart are unnecessary when you have this place.

My name is Andrew, I live downtown, and I’m addicted to Target. I make visits to the North Hills Target every week or two. My only complaint is that I’m not a big fan of parking near it. The poorly designed garage tends to create problems.
As Nick mentioned, there is a Starbucks inside, which can help on those long shopping excursions in North Hills; or perhaps give you enough fuel to survive the latest Cameron Diaz movie.
This Target is clean and has everything I need despite lacking the title of «Super». Then again, all I ask for are Method products, birthday cards, toiletries, and Tim Tams!

This store is located in the North Hills «uptown» area, surrounded by shops/​restaurants/​and a JC Penny.
There is a very large underground parking deck with escalator/​stair access to the Target on the ground floor. The escalator also has a «cart lift», which will take your cart up the escalator to the parking deck floor. How cool is that?! I almost wanted to shop with a cart just to try it out but I was only picking up a few things.
The Target also has additional parking on the ground floor beside the parking deck. Even when it’s busy during the weekend, I have had no problem finding a space either in the deck or the main parking lot.
This location does have a Pharmacy as well as a Photo Lab. They have a decent selection of items just like any other Target location, however, I have had trouble finding a couple of items in stock at this particular location. Their home improvement section seems to be much smaller in comparison to other locations. The store in general seems to be smaller than most Targets I’ve been in.
As far as the service goes, it’s great! Customer Service is Target’s top priority (they call it «Fast, Fun, and Friendly!» service) and it definitely shows. If I have a question, I get an answer. Even if things appear out of stock on shelves, if you ask, they will check the backroom for you. The thing that separates target stores from the competition (the big W) is that they have a system in place to help you. The little red phones along the main isles can be picked up to get prompt service in less than 90 seconds, as well as small «push for help» buttons located near isles and on the electronics counter (Again, they are timed to not exceed 90 seconds — with the majority arriving time being around 30 seconds).
Overall, this is a great Target store in a very convenient location.

This is my least favorite Target now that I’ve moved away from downtown. If you live near here then its really your spot. However, it reminds me too much of living back in NY with concrete everywhere surrounding department stores.
This is not to say the store is bad! It is a little less clean then the newer ones, but with a Starbucks inside, this is a great place to shop nevertheless.

Love Target. Love this location — super convenient in North Hills. The special cart-​escalator is a fun contraption. While I respect the inevitable comparisons to Walmart, Target is a happy place for me to go and shop versus various Walmarts, which seem to depress me. Just my personal opinion. I will refrain from any other political/​socio-​commentary on the big W. This Target always seems to be well-​stocked, which I can’t always say, and the employees are helpful and nice. Great place to do your basic shopping. But do be careful — the «Target Effect» can strike. This is when you run in for a few things and walk out $ 100 later.

Target, in some respects, is WalMart on steroids but in other respects, not. I’m sure you’ve frequented a Target — if not, it’s a couple notches higher than the big W on the Big Box Retailer continuum.
And for a few reason… firstly, it isn’t as big, but it still has all you need. Secondly, the items seem to be of better quality and the pricing only modestly higher. Thirdly, Targets are cleaner than your average WalMart.
This Target in particular is located in the posh-​y North Hills complex in North Raleigh at Six Forks and I-​440. Target is underground (kinda-​sorta), and the parking deck is certainly nice in this summer heat. This location has a pharmacy and expansive food section. It’s conveniently located for those in this area of the city. I prefer this location over the one at Green and Capital.

I always enjoy Target. First, we all hate to do this, but Target, is just another Walmart, but better. First, they have cashiers that are standing by to take your money. You don’t have to wait 20 minutes just in the check out lane. Where as at the other place, you do. The staff is always helpful and friendly here. They have a nice selection of stuff, and the DVD“s and movies are always on sale, which I love to buy. Target also has an aisle labeled «Movie Theater Candy» which means some of you are going to Target, and paying just $ 1, and then smuggling the same candy into Regal instead of paying that $ 3.50 for the same box of candy once inside the theater. (Aren’t there laws against price gouging, but if I had a purse, I would be doing it too.)
Now for the bad part.
They don’t have a selection as big as the other place. (you know who I mean, Wally World.) And even though you might think of JCPenny’s as the old people store, JCPenny’s has clothes that are cheaper than some thing’s at Target, and JCPenny’s shares the same parking lot with Target.
