The Q Shack is a Raleigh BBQ restaurant, specializing in restaurant service, catering and community events. We source our meats and produce from a network of local ranchers and farmers who farm using natural methods– no added growth hormones or steroids are used in the raising of our animals. We are a locally owned and operated business located in Raleigh’s MidTown area– North Hills. Friday — Sunday — open for Breakfast!
We are also able to cater any event from a box lunch office meeting to a 1000 person wedding reception. We specifically meet with each guest to unlock what he or she prefers and then create unique menus that all our chefs talents to shine through. Southern Inspired, Chef Driven & Locally Raised Foods.
History
Established in 2005.
The Q Shack has been part of Raleigh’s North Hills center since 2005, when the center was revitalized. We have a sister restaurant in Charlotte, NC and concession outlets at UNC Chapel Hill, Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC and at Time Warner Pavilion in Raleigh.

Business Owner
Tom Meyer is passionate about local food, farming and the «flavor» that comes from raising meats and produce in a specific place. Tom owns and operates two other area restaurants (Sprout at the Museum of Life and Science and Greens at UNC) plus Southern Harvest Catering Company and is an avid wine collector.
