Shoops Salon was started with the desire to give each guest a premium service without the feeling of being a number in a revolving door. The intimate space offers an opportunity for guests to express themselves while enjoying a glass of wine, beer or their favorite soda. –come in and «let your hair down» and «I will wake it up»

Born in Phoenix, AZ in 1982. Joined the United States Army Reserves and deployed to Germany, Turkey, Kuwait and Holland. After my tour I tended bar during the summer and construction through the winters, until I fell for a woman on the Jacksonville beach boardwalk in FL. All the while had been cutting my buddies hair in the garage but, my passion for hair became possible because of my wife, who pushed me to want more then my beach cruiser with beer can holders and a great tan. That push lead me to Gainsville Fl to attend a REDKEN accredited school «The Salon Professional Academy». After i became a certified cosmetologist I moved to Raleigh NC to apprentice under the founder of one of the top salons in the nation. I have now opened my own studio and continue to create looks for all my guests with the tools I have gained in life.
