I usually don’t frequent hookah bars that are to me less than five stars. The hookahs here are intact on point and I know what a good hookah is I have been packing bowls for years. The only downside to this place right now is the fact that the bonfire is off, once they have that set I will review it again.

The ambiance is great. Very friendly people. The girl at the front asked us to be seated and came over to take our order quickly. It was a busy night but the service was fast. One thing to mention is if you feel like you have been forgotten about get up and go to the front sand remind them that you need something, they will get to you right away. The hookah was awesome too. I happen to know what I wanted so that made things easy. The Arabian tea with mint was right on. Overall a very good place to visit.

Don’t mistake my three star rating for not liking the place. I’ve been here quite a many times without checking in, but there are some problems that should be pointed out. As other reviewers have alluded to, there is a problem with racism here. If you’re Arab or with a group of Arabs, you’re likely to have a much more positive experience than if you’re not Arab. I’ve even seen Arabs get the good coconut carbon coals(the cube shaped coals that are more expensive and impart no flavor to the hookah) while white patrons are given cheap«quick light» coals that do not reach an ideal temperature, burn out quickly, and impart a fuel taste to the hookah. There are, as mentioned by others, real problems with the level of service and maintenance on the hookahs and especially keeping the coals coming throughout the night. Unlike some hookah lounges, this one does not leave tongs so you can’t do your own coal maintenance between fresh coals. I really enjoy the tea options here, definitely check that out. The coffee is great, too. I’ve had problems ordering food from the Arab staff. I ask them to describe some of the items and they just have no idea. I’m not sure if it’s ignorance of the products or of the English language. It works better if you just point at something in the display case that you like, and hope that all turns out okay. They’ve got WiFi and it works pretty well. Finding electricity for a laptop, eh, not so much. It’s okay to do work here in the afternoon if you’ve got a good battery. There are TV’s, and they are usually turned to Arab music videos and live performances. It’s usually pretty entertaining, but a bit loud. You’re not going to have intimate conversations here when the TV’s are up. The whole place changes at around 8PM. The place fills up with a mixed clientele, perhaps mostly Arab, and you get to see a lot of groups of friends engaging in passionate conversations, playing games, and having a good time. Don’t be surprised if you show up at 8:30 or 9PM and there is no place for you to sit. Also don’t be surprised if your car gets dinged or blocked in; the parking lot can get a little crazy when the place fills up. If they were able to route out the very obvious racism in the staff, bring up the level of customer service, turn down the TV volume to a background level, I’d be very happy to offer four stars. Earning five stars would take a more substantial investment. Hey, let’s clear out the racism and treat everyone like friends. That would be a fantastic start. One more thing, when you come in here, you’re coming to an oasis of Arab culture. Be respectful of that when you plan a trip here.

Hookah is great and the environment is very good. The hookahs are pretty high quality. However, service is very poor. The guys that refresh the hookahs are very rude and always service the Arab customers before anyone else.

The workers here seem racist. I’ve been here many, many times and can say that every time I went with my Lebanese friends, the service was friendly and prompt. Any time I came with white friends, I’m constantly waiting for the hookah, to be greeted, for the coals to be replaced. Smallest time I’ve had to wait on these occasions are 30 mins, longest was about an hour while we even had asked for new coals at the 50 minute point and saw the worker taking a smoke against the wall a minute later… oh how I wanted to just walk out without paying and never come back. I won’t return for them to steal my money for rude service who ignores particular customers, and for me to have an overall terrible experience while I’m trying to have fun out with friends.

The hookah was definitely good but the service not so much. We had to ask for coal initially and no one came to check on us. Also they did not offer to clean to coal after it started getting ashy. We weren’t given any tongs either. No one came to replace the coal either. The place looked a little dirty. Probably won’t be returning.

Had a nice night with the lovelys tonight. The waitress here was amazing. The only complaint I have is with the coal boy who stared me right in my face and ignored me trying to get more coals. He pretended not to understand anything I was saying while I was asking questions. The only time he spoke was when he was asking if we drove a jeep in the parking lot. The atmosphere is 5 stars and if I would have had someone else more polite changing my coals it would have stayed that. Unfortunately his attitude altered my opinion in such a way I would give this place 1.5 stars. I will return hopefully to a more friendly atmosphere.

Worst and slowest service. Went with a friend and we were told to be seated and someone would bring us menus. We sat down and waited about 20 minutes-no menus. Finally flagged someone down to bring us some and he seemed irritated we even asked. Waited another 30 minutes for anyone to come order(had to track someone down for this as well). Got our hookah-waited ANOTHER20 minutes for some kid to come give us coals. The flavor was good and thats about the only positive thing I have to say about the place. Our server was some arrogant 18 year old kid who felt it was appropriate to come to our table, pop our mouthpiece off and smoke some of our hookah. It was very bizarre. I will NEVER come back here. I felt ignored and like I was inconveniencing the staff just by being there.

Nice atmosphere, slow service, decent sheesha. The lady was very nice about it. The guys setting up hookah and freshening coal were kind of rude and unhelpful.

I kind of feel bad for anyone in north Carolina that thinks this or the other near areas are actual good hookah. The only good thing I liked about this place was the atmosphere and girls at the front were very friendly. Just like any other hookah place in this state, they try to get away with using light up coals. The fact that some of their customers are okay with that just shows that they don’t know anything about hookah. Even the normal coals that were used, was of low quality. Such a waste, they would spend less time switching coals if they got the good nara or any other higher brand of coals. The price for the hookah here is average so it isn’t to bad. I was there for a little over an hour and did not get any coal change at all. The best positive aspect of this place was there outside seating, it truly is one of a kind and I haven’t seen it at all. I’m giving this place two stars so they hopefully one day invest in coals and stop being lazy with the coal change, I shouldn’t have to call the guy down after an hour.

The ladies who take orders and bring refreshments are always helpful and nice. Their drink list(non-alcoholic) is extensive. So far, I have tried the Arabic Cocktail(fruity drink with whipped cream on top), Moroccan mint tea, Turkish coffee and sahlab(thick, milky nutty drink) and all have been great. The hookah is almost always great and Isabel and Amber both have mixes that you can’t go wrong with. If you bring a friend, I suggest you share a large pot of tea and if you’re going to smoke with a group, have at least 1 hookah for every three people(easier for sharing and less danger of knocking a hookah over). Parking is rough, but don’t park at Waffle House– there is a gravel lot behind it that is available.

Hookah was exactly what you would expect. Awesome ambiance… But I waited for an hour before being helped. I went to the counter and was told to have a seat twice. once served the server was amazing… Side note… This was at 5 in the afternoon. It was a ghost town. I won’t go back.

My husband and I did not feel welcome. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but, I disagree with the reviews posted, which drive me to this disappointment. We were told to park in a different spot because it was«blocking the door», but we were on the spot on the side… Also, did not have cups to go so, we ended up going somewhere else, much nicer 10 min away.

I could tell you about the great hookah, or the simple middle eastern inspired seating and environment, but I would be taking away from the highlight. the owner takes the spotlight for me, appears to be a kind person, and very friendly. Around 8pm the place came to live with customers, of all backgrounds. Highly recommend the place, enjoyed my time.

Great place to smoke hookah. There’s indoor, outdoor, and even a sunroom type of smoking area. If you smoke cigarettes with your hookah, this would be the place to visit. Very lively and the staff is very nice. Clean environment and a place I would visit again!

This place was great, not too pricey, real Turkish coffee, free refills on sheesha, no wait to get a table if you get there by 9. Authentic atmosphere, I’ll definitely be going here again & recommending it to my friends!

Lovely atmosphere! The desserts are fabulous! Although it was somewhat hot inside, it eventually cooled down. Maybe it took a while before the air kicked in and cooled off the area. Great Hookah
