Caught between a three and a four, but simply because the customer service was outstanding, I’ll round up to a 4.
Very cheap. Like 20 bucks for an oil change (of course it’s not like Jiffy Lube, where they top off all the fluids, rotate your tires, vacuum your car, etc.) but they do the basic job and that’s what I needed.
The reasons I am tempted to put three stars:
1) They tried to sell me tires– I didn’t come here to spend money on tires. I just came for an oil change. I don’t like being pressured. (Other than that though, everyone that worked there was super friendly and kind.)
2) They took forever to bring me my keys after the oil change was complete. I must have waited 15 more minutes. Not cool.
Everything else was cheap and good.

I use this Sear’s to have some brake work done. After missing 3 estimated completion times (supposed to be done at 1pm then 3pm and then 5pm and wasn’t ready till 6pm) I got in my car after $ 750 of work to find every warning and alarm showing on the dash. I went back in and the clerk tried to claim they were already on. Next to only find the person who did the work left for the day. Then it took 45 mins (on the phone with corp and in person manager) for them to pay for a round trip taxi ride. Work was not fixed until noon the next day. They would not discount the work as I had already paid. Then I find out the work was poorly done at my next check up. For the sake of your car and wallet stay away. It is not worth the convenience of a auto shop at the mall when you consider the work that may be done and how you will be treated.

Took my Volvo 940 there to get an oil change a while back. They did the service and the mechanic pointed out some problems with the car which I already knew about because I had be told about them by a Volvo specialist. The price was ok but the service, excuse my language, SUCKED!
The wait was a bit long for a simple oil change which didn’t really bother me because I would rather someone take time and do it right. What really made me mad was how I got my car back. The car is white and I had just had it detailed that morning, when it came time to pick it up there were BLACK hand prints all over my freshly cleaned white car. I was so mad I blocked the entrance to the place and made them clean it off. Do they not have towels in there to clean up after themselves?

Just had a alignment done there and it pretty well. I signed for one alignment plan so I’ll see how that goes. This location is conveniently connected to the mall, so just drop off your car and go shopping.

I have been going to this Sears Auto Center for years. This is the normal place I come to for tires and alignments. I came here on my most recent visit because I just bought my tires and had my car aligned at a different store. The other store screwed up my alignment and this store fixed it no problem. They are great for flat repairs, and have fixed various parts on my vehicles. I would definitely recommend them for service. Thy also price match and will work with you on prices for tires.

I bought tires and had them put them on. I don’t really have any complaints about that.
Later, I brought the car back for an oil change and engine flush – that didn’t go so well.
They messed up, making me wait a lot longer than I should have, but they also left me with a hanging piece of plastic (that you have to remove to get to the oil filter) that they must have been too lazy, or too neglectful to replace.
Then they tried to sell me on some work I didn’t need…
IDK… I guess I would give anyone an OK to buy tires from this joint, but I wouldn’t get my car serviced here and I definitely wouldn’t approve any «additional» work they may claim is necessary.

This place us the absolute worst place to take your vehicle do not I repeat do not go here!
