Quality Design & Construction is a design/​build residential remodeling company. We have won many awards both locally and nationally for our craftsmanship and attention to details. We are Certified Aging in Place Specialists and have been presented the Livable Communities Award from the NAHB and AARP Magazine for a whole house universal design project. We are members of NAHB, NARI, NKBA, BBB, Remodelers Council.

We take pride in incorporating the ideas of homeowners with ours to ensure a remodeling project that not only meets your desires but also fits your home, lifestyle and budger.

History

Established in 1994.

David Mackowski is one of 5 children. His father was always remodeling their house for their growing family. He started helping his father with odd jobs at a very young age.

He was working for AMSCO and got laid off. This was the start of Quality Home Improvements by David J Mackowski, which later became Quality Design & Construction in August of 1994.

Peggy Mackowski had always dreamed of having her own business. She had worked for the State Employees’ Credit Union for almost 10 years. She eared her CCUE from National Credit Union Association.

As a firm believer in continuing education both David and Peggy have earned many designation from the NAHB.

Meet the Manager

Carrie C.

Manager

Carrie Carroll has worked for Quality Design & Construction for several years as a designer/​inside project coordinator. She holds a degree in culinary arts and a degree in architecture.

These skills are supplemented by David Mackowski’s background in engineering.

This team ensures that we not only design beautiful remodeling projects but they are functional as well.
