Always get great food here, but always feel ignored by the wait staff each visit too. Really hard to get the check most times when you’re done. Bad location too. But the food keeps bringing me back, so I can definitely recommend it to most people.

Goat is nature’s candy!
Goat is the most consumed red meat on the planet. That being said, birria (stewed goat meat in a slightly spicy «gravy») is arguably goat done best.
Los Tres Vaqueros speciality is birria and they nail it! The meat is tender and distinct in its savouriness; must be tried to be appreciated. In addition to the birria they have an awesome ala carte taco selection to include my personal fav, tacos de tripitas doradas (crispy fried intestines). Not strictly exotic, they also have all the other things you’d expect from a Mexican restaurant– chips & salsa, enchiladas etc.
Super nice staff, great for groups & kid friendly. This joint is my pick when I go out for Mexican in the Tri.
