There aren’t a lot of choices at RDU airport and I’m glad I selected Jason’s Deli. Here’s the basic premise: you order your food, watch it being made on a «production line», and then pick it up at the opposite end of the ordering counter. The staff were friendly and efficient. The sandwich was tasty. I had the Santa Fe Chicken sandwich: chicken breast, bacon, Swiss cheese, guacamole, tomato, and 1000 Island dressing on a wheat bread. I had them hold the tomato which they accommodated. My only complaint is there wasn’t enough cheese for my liking; maybe next time(if there’s a next time) I’ll ask for extra cheese. Otherwise, it was a mighty tasty meal.

Needed a quick dinner before hopping on my flight. Jason’s deli seemed like a good(and really only) option that was near my gate. Connected to five guys, the five guys smell was definitely more tempting but chose to stay healthier with the Jason’s deli pick. I ordered a turkey wrap that just had turkey, lettuce, tomato and guacamole in it(asked for it without the ranch dressing) and comes in a wheat tortilla. Prices are on the higher end for just a tiny wrap, but what else do you expect from airport food? At least the sandwich came with a bag of chips. They wrapped my sandwich in paper and when I went to open it on my lap, the wrap wasn’t rolled up enough in the paper that half of it came falling out on the floor of the airport. I was so disappointed until I ate a bite of the other half and realized I wasn’t missing anything exciting. The wrap had no flavor at all, hardly any fillings inside, and I couldn’t even taste any guacamole in it. Even for airport food, I expected a little better from Jason’s deli. The best part was the kettle cooked potato chips.

Terrible. I paid 8.00 for a vegetarian sandwich. The slowest person in the world took 20 minutes to put two pieces of cheese on some bread. No lettuce or tomato. And she acted like I was annoying her when after 25 minutes I asked her if it would be much longer.

Jason’s Deli, what happened? Since American merged and switched ends of the airport for flights to DC, I have had to settle for convenience. Jason’s has never been great, or good. They do aspire to be adequate. Not so much today. I order Ranchero Wrap. The guy calls Ranchero Wrap. He rings Club Royale. I get Club Royal, a discovery I made at my gate. I also discovered that it seems to have been cut in two(not half) with a spoon. My suggestion is to show up a little earlier and go anywhere else for a sit down meal and a drink.

Terrible. They tried to put pesto on the sandwich(corned beef) when I had asked for mayo. Then they got upset with me when I corrected them. Definitely not worth the money and the workers are definitely not worth $ 15 dollars an hour. Very hostile and unable to make a decent sandwich. RDU needs better food options.

Expensive but it’s the airport. But at least they’re very generous with the sandwich fillings! I got the great pastrami Reuben. Sandwich was $ 9.99. Just below the $ 2 off threshold coupon if your food bill is $ 10 bucks. You think you can get an iced tea for $ 2 ish dollars. Un-fortunately you’re at the airport sucker! Anyways. Sandwich is plenty good. Service is efficient enough you’ll get your fresh made sandwich in about 7 minutes. And now my seat mates are eye balling my delicious looking sandwich while they don’t even get Deeeeez nuts! Hahahaha!

I love hate this place. The sandwiches are always so good but the fact that they nearly always fall out of the wrapper in the to-go bag drives me crazy. Please tape the wrapping or something.

Good selection of choices, staff handles the order pretty fast. Which is helpful when trying to catch a flight.

The person who took our order seemed like she was pissed to be doing her job. She had an attitude and snarled when she didn’t hear me the first time and barked«what!!!» Then we sit and wait for her to walk around as slow as possible to find all the ingredients to make our sandwiches. So slow it seemed like she was trying to piss us off. Then we asked where we pay and she said we had to wait for the cashier to get there. That’s when we noticed the line of people already with their food waiting to pay. One lady finally just left a five dollar bill on the counter and bounced. Sandwiches finally get made. I regretted it as soon as I saw the nasty looking ingredients being used. Oh also she toasted our sandwiches with the guacamole on it. Any half decent place knows nobody wants hot guac. Then when it comes time to cut the sandwich this chic literally smushed everything out of the sandwich. Look up to see if anyone saw it. Then wrapped it. The only good part about this sandwich was getting my money back.

Hooray for breakfast at Jason’s Deli, but this was pretty much a last resort. I like their lunch & dinner options, but breakfast is lacking. I went with the breakfast sandwich, which gives you your choice of meat(I went with bacon) & bread(I chose a bagel). The bacon was somewhat crisp, but the egg tasted of course like«commercial» egg. The bagel was nice & soft. Of course it’s airport pricing, so I paid about $ 6 for this sandwich. The employees there seemed less than happy about being at work this early.

They weren’t willing to add eggs to my «build-your-own sandwich,» the ingredients were low-quality, and my wrap was wrapped very poorly.

Had the Mgrs Special, Club Royal on croissant and Chix Chili. Staff was a little less than caring, but were efficient. Both the half sandwich and soup were very tasty and filling. Would come back again.

Grabbed lunch there on the way to Chicago. Excellent sandi’s … Simply delish. Already missing Jason’s Deli. When I was in Houston. Beat value $ 7 – 8 a sandi at an airport and like I said simply delish! Our sandi’s were made fresh btw

Always a good sandwich or soup to be had while waiting to board a plane in NC at Jason Deli in the RDU airport. the counter staff is always helpful and patient too!

Running to catch a plane at 7:50. I hadn’t eaten a bite since 12:30, and that was a granola bar. Ran into the place and grabbed the first sandwich I saw and a bottle of water. I was hungry and was prepared to eat whatever 12 – 15 hour old sandwich they offered. If I didn’t eat now it was going to be at least another two hours before I had another chance. So once I grabbed it did my race walk to the gate and boarded the plane, I prepared to eat what was sure to be a horrible dinner. But wait, the bread is soft and chewy. The ham is nicely pink and moist. No dried out edges on the cheddar cheese. And there is even spicy(not overly so) brown mustard already on the sandwich. What a complete and total surprise. Not that I anticipate having a hankering for this sandwich again, but when you are in a rush it’s good to know that this type of quick to-go meal is available. Hat’s off to you Jason, wherever you are. You made the weary travelers night.

Jason’s Deli is not what you think it is. The sandwiches aren’t really fresh(but they aren’t super infresh; if they were I would rate this one star). They don’t have a good chip selection. The workers also don’t seem to be interested when you’re ordering. Five Guys is probably a better choice. I think I would have a better experience if I tried the one in Raleigh, since this location is in an airport.

I ordered the turkey wrap and it was kinda… small and flat. I dunno, I figure if I’m paying eight bucks for something, it oughtta at least be… BIG. The guy who took my order must have been some kind of manager because he was too distracted to take my payment, arguing with an employee who had shown up late too often. One plus is that they serve beer here, although at outrageous prices, of course.

You know you get ripped off when you are at an airport. I went up and down the terminal and settled for an overpriced sandwich. At $ 8.49, the Reuben better be good. Surprisingly it was. I had about 1.5 inches of hot corned beef with tons of kraut, swiss, 1000 island dressing all between two toasted pieces of rye. I was hungry, but after this monster of a sandwich, I was in a happy place. Kudos to the best airport food I’ve had!

This was my first time eating at a Jason’s Deli. :Service: As far as airport service goes, it was A-Okay. The employees/cashiers worked to process orders and prepare meals in an efficient manner. :Food: Rather delicious… especially for airport food. We(my fella and I) ordered 2 Ranchero wraps and Chicken Chili. Both were delicious and I could actually see myself ordering this when not stuck in an airport. Jason’s Deli also offers a variety of wraps, sandwiches, soups, chili, chips and cookies. The variety of the menu appears to offer a little bit for everyone. :Location: Jason’s Deli is located to the left of Five Guys Burgers. Patrons from both establishments share a dining area. There is plenty of space for everyone, and it was clean. Bottom Line: If you’re hungry and at RDU… this is a nice place to get a quick bite.

My regular airline finally moved over to Terminal 2 at RDU so now we have a who new selection of places to eat at. I think this place just opened up this week. Staff was overly nice and took my order right away. Was running late and Jason’s Deli was right across from my gate. Ordered a pesto chicken panini(7.29) to go. Chicken — good, not some booring chicken with no seasoning on it —(like most typical airport chicken sandwiches). Bread good, cheese, melted, basil fresh. For airport food this is better than average fair and will probably repeat the next time I’m there.
