Dunkin Donuts & Baskin Robbins

You’d think combining a donut and an ice cream shop should be a slam dunk but the atmosphere of this place needs an overhaul. There are florescent lights that flicker like you’re at a defunct kmart and the place just looks unwelcome and dirty. But hey, I did get ice cream cause that’s how I roll and my immune system is pretty good.
I like 31 flavors if only for the nostalgia of it all. My plan was to get through all 31 flavors but I could not make myself or rather my parents wouldn’t let me wolf down frozen daquiri flavor. But no one can stop me now. Except there’s this flavor «pecan praline» that always calling my name.
Okay, this review already sucks. So buh-​bye!

Me: Could I have my donut warmed?
Employee: We don’t do that… we’re not Krispy Kreme.
For those of you who are wondering, there is not a warming device on the premises, so get ready to indulge in that delicious room-​temperature slightly-​stale bread, covered in a sugar glaze! Also, Dunkin Donuts is not Krispy Kreme (apparently some of us get confused).
Gave 2 stars because I still really like donuts.

I went here with a big birthday group. The customer service was 5 stars! They gave the birthday girl a free item as a thanks for bringing in such a big group, which seemed like a smart/​nice gesture.
Of course, there was only one non-​dairy option I could choose from, and it was described as «lime ice with rum flavor». You could see through the glass that it had been sampled twice, but no one had ordered a single scoop. My sample confirmed why no one would order it. Dunkin Donuts, similarly, had no vegan donuts or anything I would eat. Which may be for the best, given how much sugar and oil and mystery ingredients likely comprise the food. That part of the business brings the entire experience down to 2 stars/

This specific location has been around for over a year. Very friendly service and usually regular patrons — to include lots of college students wanting the morning sugar fix of doughnuts.
Not an overly abundant selection like other Dunkin Donuts in the area but most of the popular selections are available and reasonably priced. The only down side is that bottled soft drinks are a tad bit higher in cost. The morning menu is a big hit with lots of alternative breakfast sandwiches. If you are in the ice crème mode then you will be happy with the selection of Baskin Robbin choices — all in the same place.
This place is very clean and has plenty of seating. There is a decent WIFI signal coming from the NCSU campus.
