Moved in in 2007. Really good management at that point, but the complex was sold shortly thereafter to Venterra, a Canadian company. When I moved, I scheduled a walk through and was given the all clear, nothing owed. I was thanked for leavin gmy unit in such good shape. 6 months later I start getting calls from a collection agency, saying I owe them $ 100 as a charge at Cedar Springs. At no time did I receive any type of notification from Venterra about this«debt». I write the collection agency asking for verification of the debt, it has been 11 months and I still have not heard any thing form the collection agency. 4 months ago I approach the new Manager on-site, Juna Lamour. And while initially concerned, she took my info and told me she would have to research the issue and call me back. I even gave them pictures I took showing the condition of the apartment after I moved out. Have not heard one word from Juna. A complaint has been initiated with the State Attorney General’s Office, if I can’t get a response out of Venterra, the state can do it for me! Save yourself the hassle, look elsewhere.
