The sad part of this story is I had just left Staten Island, where I could have purchased a good pizza. I have only lived in Jersey a few years, and never tried Brooklyn Pizza, given its name I figured I would give it a shot. I went in and bought a pie, it was done in no time, which was my first suspicion, maybe they thought they had to under cook it because I was waiting. Needless to say, it was my first time, and my last; the crust was rubbery, pie has no taste; they should change the name because it taste like nothing that comes out of New York, let alone Brooklyn. Ok I had to come back just to say, has much as I have tried to heat this pie, in the hopes that it doesn’t taste like rubber, it’s impossible. This has to be the worst pizza I have ever eaten.

Really tasty pies. Thin and chewy crusts with a tasty sauce. Really enjoy their pizzas.

This pizza sucks compared to michelino’s. Garbage pizza and undercooked. Get less than what you pay for here.

Pizza is pretty good. I’ve ordered for my home and for my company. Took a star off because the pizza takes forever for home delivery even though I live in walking distance. Also took another star because I placed a huge order 1 day and while they promised to be ready in 15 – 20 mins, I gave them 25 – 30 and still had to wait when I got there for it. They were unapologetic about my extra wait time and even charged me the $ 1 for a drink while I waited. The least they could have done was comp me the soda since I just gave you a $ 300 order in the middle of the week. How often does that happen? I buy a Gyro and the guy gives me a free soda/water while I wait for him to make it.

Stopped in for a quick slice.. self service soda fountain had no diet coke. …ice dispenser did not dispence any ice at all… Refrigerated bottles of coca cola products definitely needed cup with ice. .Ordefed a sausage slice. .Pizza alive was decent.. But the crust after it was heated just before it being served to me was totally soggy and mushy… Not exactly what I expected. got to give it one star only because otherwise it would not permit me to post

Pizza, convenience, décor, and staff are all solid at Brooklyn pizza. I’m a fan of a traditional NY style pie with crust that’s a bit chewy inside, crisp at the edges, and built with sauce, cheese and toppings. Every time I walk out, that’s exactly what I have. The bf and I grabbed some ready made slices and cheese fries the other night for a quick hang out night dinner. All the slices were HUGE! Not sure if it was just a one time thing or how they do it, but 4 slices(1 sausage, 1 chicken, and 2 Sicilian) left us with plenty left over. 4 huge slices + cheese fries = $ 15 and change. They’re generous with toppings, and everything tasted good to me. Service was friendly. Seating options are 4 booths, 4 high top tables, and 4 «regular» tables. The exposed brick interior gives a cool urban, old Brooklyn, Italian rustica(maybe that’s pushing it a little) feel which is inviting.

So they placed ad flyers on my door and i decided one day to try it out. Ordered for home delivery one large pizza and 10 wings. It took one hour and 25 minutes to deliver it. Driver said the girl on front desk got the town name incorrect and he went to another town. OK. So we sat down to finally eat pizza and wings. Guess what? Pizza looked not cooked, wings were good for me but too spicy for my wife, and to top it off, we requested ranch dressing for Bruschetta pizza since options were ranch, blue cheese and something else, but it arrived with blue cheese dressing. I called pizzeria few times to speak to the manager but the absent-minded front girl kept saying he is too busy to talk. I told her about the whole mishap and she did not even say Sorry. She asked if pizza got delivered or not, and then enjoy it and hang up. ANd guess what: I would have given you a second chance if at least the customer service was appropriate! Now you lose my family as your customer and I’ll make sure to spread a word around my neighborhood about experience. Will never recommend and will never buy again from them.

The pizza is good but they have no idea what well done means! This is the third time I ordered a pie saying WELLDONE and the pizza looks almost uncooked! Grrrrrr!!!

Yeah. Just ok pizza. Everyone is saying«thin crust» which it is not. It is a standard crust. We are there and ordered a medium pie. Meh. Not crispy. Kind of bland. The plastic cups they gave us were greasy. Yuck. Not worth going back.

Pizza is pretty good. Very thin crust and based on pizza alone I’d probably go up to four stars. They have some delicious combinations on the pizza like buffalo chicken which is particularly delicious. The pizza prices are very very high for what is actually in the box. The first time I picked up a pie from there I swore the box was empty. That’s not a bad thing, though, it’s crispy and delicious. In my experience the sandwiches strictly sub-par. Earlier this month we were looking for some late take out and remembered Brooklyn Pizza. So we ordered some hot subs — chicken parm and a Philly cheese steak. Best I can say is notso hotso, really. I’ve never had anything else on their menu so I can’t say either way. If the quality of the food was consistent and the prices a little more down to earth this place could be five stars all the way.

Tried this place one more time to give them another shot… never again. This time was given raw chicken in my panini! When I called to let them know, not one person apologized. Really poor customer service. An apology goes a long way.

Three stars because the people there are very nice otherwise I would have rated them a two. I ordered a simple sandwich, a sausage parm. I’ve had them at many places and this is the only place I’ve had that it’s a hybrid sausage parm/sausage peppers & onions. It seems to me they cook one batch for either sandwich, a bit lazy I think.

Staff are friendly, pizza not that great on take out but if you eat there its delish go figure. The entrees are awsome that cook knows what he is doing.

I was in the mood for a grandma pie and they said they could make it. Failed. I opened the box when I got home, and they used shredded mozz cheese instead of the fresh one. No olive oil and no basil. I had no choice but to eat it because I was already home and I was so hungry. Too bad I had to throw most of it in the garbage. Not nice. They’re OK when it comes to their regular slices.

Horrible I do not know how their service is when you are dining in. I live literally around the corner from them and have always ordered in. I have ordered there over 10 times in the past couple of months and last night will be the last time I ever call them for anything. I do not mind the hour wait for my order to be delivered a block down from where they are at. However, I do not need attitude over the phone, cold pasta and pizza, all the extras missing when my $ 50 order finally gets here as I am in the middle of entertaining my friends. Sloppy, Unprofessional, «walk in joint» at best. I have put over 10 orders to this place at minimum $ 30 per order every time over the past couple of months. I live less than a mile away… The only ok thing about those 10 orders I placed is that one of the ten orders while being late, cold, and missing half the stuff I ordered: got me a free pizza the next day. Mind you, I was entertaining a party of 10 the night the food was 2 hours late, and missing half of itself. Brooklyn Pizza? not in Jersey…

I’d say this is a nice place to buy some pizza and to chill :) I’d say compared to Gino’s, Enzo’s, or Michalinos Pizza, they’re okay, a lot of people say the pizza taste great. But to be honest, if a restaurant can provide a good variety of pizzas, especially buffalo chicken or chicken, then it’s an A for them.

Their pizza is pretty decent. Good amount of cheese and sauce. Crust was good too. The only complaint I had was the panini that my girl had. She had a grilled chicken panini and she was NOT happy with her food. The chicken was hard and rubbery, as if it was taken out of the freezer after five years. It ruined her day, my day was ok. At least the curly fries was freshly fried. Avoid their panini at all cost especially if your getting the chicken panini. Go to a pizzeria for pizzas, not paninis. Lesson Learned there.
