Dr. Stacy Wessman is a life saver! At one point I had to see Dr. Champion because she had no available appointments and I had an emergency. He looked at my ultrasound results and insisted I had to pick a surgery date to get a cyst on my ovary removed. I told him I wanted to consult Wessman, which I did. I’m so glad I saw her because it turns out it wasn’t a cyst at all and I just have a swollen Fallopian tube and that I didn’t need surgery at all.
Bottom line– Wessman is amazing. I previously had her as a surgeon and she is the best gyno around. Dr. Champion is obviously an idiot and rude.

I’ve been going to Crown for several years now and while they seem to have a lot of the same issues any other medical practice has (sometimes long wait times to get through to a person on the phone, doctor’s running behind for appointments, etc.)… I have been through several scary health issues under their care and the quality and compassion of the doctors and nurses is fantastic. Currently going through my first pregnancy (and a high risk one at that) and so far I have been extremely pleased. All of the doctors I’ve seen have been wonderful but If looking for a new OBGYN– I’d highly recommend Dr. Lacy or Dr. Wessman. I absolutely adore both of them!

Staff call you in a panic, provide only partial information, causing you to panic. I have been told by the Director of the office that staff can’t provide information to patients. Can’t? Really? That’s troubling. I’ve called the nurse line to ask questions and they seem to be totally bothered that they might have to answer a health question. Isn’t that the whole point of a nurse line? What a wonderful feeling that is. That your HEALTH PROVIDER can’t be bothered to PROVIDE HEALTH CARE.
Staff make appointments and give you the wrong information. So after you panic and have to wait for the appointment, they then try to bump you out of it, so you can continue to be upset and nervous.
Director has terrible bedside manner, and is heavy handed with procedures and treatment options. He insists he should just do a procedure that may lead to infertility, cervical failure or cancer rather than wait and evaluate.
Billing claims to be able to be paid online. They can’t. They don’t seem to understand how to set that up for patients either. They find it pretty funny too.
Stay away. Just stay far, far away. I intend on firing them and changing offices. I may not even keep my follow up appointment. The entire practice is a mess. I mean, unless you’re pregnant, perhaps then they take care of you. You only seem to matter if you’re knocked up, otherwise they’ll gladly treat you like crap.
