History

Established in 2015.

New York City and its surrounding suburbs serve as the epicenter for thousands of businesses. Millions of people live and work within the five boroughs, Long Island, Rockland, Orange and Westchester counties, and they all have at least one thing in common; never feeling as if they have enough time in a day, especially when it comes to taking care of themselves. With that thought in mind, SKinfatuated Mobile Spa was born. Nneka Garel-​Portes, a New York State licensed Esthetician and MBA, believed that bringing the bliss and tranquility of a NYC day spa to client’s homes would offer an invaluable service, as it allows clients the opportunity to truly pamper themselves without having to add the stress of travel or spa room wait times.

Business Owner

Nneka is a native New Yorker, Brooklyn to be exact. Raised in a family of law enforcement, she is the first in her family to pursue the role of business owner. Having studied at one of the top business schools in the country, University of Scranton, Nneka earned her Masters in Business in 2011. After a brief career with the City of New York, Nneka decided to throw caution to the wind, use her business degree and chase her dreams of owning a spa. After studying esthetics at Atelier Esthetique Institute of Esthetics in New York City, Nneka earned her license with the state of New York in 2014, and in 2015 opened SKinfatuated Mobile Spa.
